Saraswati reprimanded for ‘Gau Hatya’ in Star Plus’ Saraswatichandra

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saraswatichandra on Star Plus will touch upon the sensitive issue of ‘Gau Hatya’ this week. Yash, Kumud Sundari’s (Jennifer Winget) cousin brother will hit a cow while driving, leading to major issues in the village. The cow will meet with its death and as per the Hindu custom, this will be termed as a bad omen. This is when Saraswatichandra (Gautam Rode) will take the blame on himself and will agree to stay put in the village to pay back for the damage the villagers have incurred due to the loss of the holy animal.

This particular track will be highlighted from this week, wherein Saraswati will have to overcome all odds in the given situation. It will be interesting to see if Kumud Sundari will support Saraswatichandra in his quest to win back the confidence of the villagers.

We hear that the creative team is working towards telecasting their Maha episode on 23 March 2013, which will see the culmination of the ‘Gau Hatya’ track. It will be exciting to see if Saraswati manages to hide the fact that Yash is actually responsible for the accident or not.

Also, few dramatic sequences in the romance of Saraswatichandra and Kumud can be expected with the entry of Guman (Monica Bedi), Saraswati’s step-mother.

We tried calling Gautam Rode and Jennifer Winget, but could not reach through to them.

Catch the interesting sequences in Saraswatichandra.
