Saraswatichandra 11th February 2014 Written Episode
The Episode starts with Saras leaving. Kumud goes after him. Kusum asks Laxminandan to take rest and not play chess with her dad. Laxminandan says I m lucky that Kusum and Kumud will be with me, I wish Ghuman understands this. Everyone looks on. Kumud comes to Saras and finds him very upset. Saras says I know you want to bring me and my dad closer, but this is not possible. She says there was a time when it was impossible for us to unite, but today we are husband and wife, and he is your father. Saras says I came to know his truth very late, else I would have ended my relation with him before, Kumud I can’t forgive him but can control my hatred, till he does not ask for his rights. Kumud says will you have tea. She rests on his shoulder.
Laxminandan and Vidyachatur have a talk about Saras. Vidyachatur says today Saras showed how much he cared for you. Laxminandan says I felt Saras will accept me, I don’t know how to take the first step. Vidyachatur says Saras will melt. Laxminandan says he is annoyed with me, I did not even bring a wedding gift for him. Vidyachatur says its a small thing, do anything what you want, you are father and son, not an enemy. Laxminandan says shall I gift him anything, I have a surprise for them. He smiles and says I will just come. Vidyachatur says the relations will unite, I wish hos hope does not break.
The guy with the tattoo stops Laxminandan and gives him a letter. He dresses as a postman. Laxminandan reads the letter in which there is a warning for him, be ready to pay for what sins you did. Laxminandan is puzzled. Saras sees Kumud getting ready and wearing bangles and earrings. He smiles staring at her. She wears her Saras’s mum’s anklet. She turns to see him standing and staring at her. She signs what. He comes to her and Mann ke dor………. plays………….. He applies the sindoor. Kumud smiles. Saras says you are very beautiful and only mine. They have a lovely hug.
Kusum and Danny pop in their room. Saras and Kumud fastly move away. Kusum laughs. Kusum asks them to come for having food. Saras says I m not hungry. Kusum says Badimaa says if you both don’t come, no one will have food. Saras says I will come. Everyone come for lunch. Everyone are shocked to see colorful changes in the house which Kalika did. Everyone laughs on her choice of colors. Kalika says now this house is only mine and I will decorate as I want. She asks Kumud how does the house look, everyone are silent it means everyone liked it. Everyone burst out laughing. Kalika asks why are everyone laughing. Yash says its not holi today.
Kalika gets angry and leaves. Dada ji says stop laughing, lets have food now. Kalika comes to the kitchen and cries seeing everyone’s reaction. She looks in the mirror and washes her face. Yash’s mum comes to her and says you are washing your face to hide your tears, why are you so sad. Kalika says they insulted you. Yash’s mum says my insult? I know they laugh on me behind my back, tell me what they said. Kalika says can’t you see how everyone laughed on your bahu. She fills her ears against everyone. She says today they made fun of me and also you.
Everyone have lunch together having a laugh. Laxminandan comes and Saras’s smile fades. Laxminandan looks at Saras. Saras gets up from his seat but Badimaa stops him. Laxminandan says I will have lunch later. Badimaa stops him too. Vidyachatur says sit down both of you. The men praise themselves. Vidyachatur praises the women for her hardwork that they cook daily.
Vidyachatur asks Laxminandan did you bring the wedding gift for Saras and Kumud. Laxminandan says I would have filled your room with gifts, but now I brought this little gift, think this is my blessings for both of you. Kumud takes the envelope and says Switzerland tickets. Everyone are happy. Laxminandan says its a beautiful place, you will like it. Kusum says wow, you will be going Switzerland with Saras, great. Saras thinks about his mum’s letter and her words. He gets angry thinking about her death. He takes the tickets and taunts Laxminandan tearing the tickets saying I don’t need this. Everyone are shocked. Saras leaves.
Vidyachatur pacifies Laxminandan. Kumud comes to Saras and asks why did you do this, he is your father, is this your anger, hatred or what. He says I don’t know why I hate him so much. She says I can understand, this is not hatred else you would have not saved him from burning, you worry about him. Saras says I get more angry on myself, my mum left me because of him, how can I forget that.
Precap:
Saras gets tears in his eyes and says I won’t be able to forgive my dad Kumud.

stop blaming your dad for your mom’s own actions
if she truly loved her family she would have survived for her children but instead she threw it away because she couldnt get her husband’s love
a woman may lose the love and respect of her husband but never of her children
saras mom was weak. If she couldnt live for herself she could have least lived for her children
Saras grow up…people can push people to a limit and no more but at the end of the day it;s that person to be pushed to oblivion or fight back
you can influence suicide but a person dont have to attempt it or do it due to influence
yes Laxmidan cheated he neglected his wife for another woman but he enevr told his wife to die or kill herself she chose that path all on her own
Saras is trying to put blame on Laxmidan for his own helplessness in truth your mom was weak and selfish because she never gave a thought to her children. To me she did this to teach Laxmidan a lesson and she succeeded look how Saras and his father is. Both wounded and misunderstood.

February 11, 10:35i always read and respected your comments but today you should think before you write sometimes. how is saras mother to be blamed? she loved and respected her husband and he betrayed her. she felt she had nothing else to live for. Agree she is weak but when you’re broken and no one to turn to one can make bad decisions. don’t blame the woman. Saras is angry but he will forgive his father eventually.

Can you blame Laxmindan for getting his wife killed?
She had no one to turn to? She had Badimaa and Vidyateur and the rest of the family. She could have gone to them for assistance and asked them to intervene on her behalf. If that didnt work maybe it was time to move on and live with her maternal family. Maybe her thinking was that of a traditional woman where marriage and family is the true essence of happiness and womanhood.
I dont blame Saras mother for her husband’s cheating ways. Laxmidan is responsible for that he was selfish. If he truly loved her he could either stop the affair and be a good husband, or he could have divorce her and move on instead of forcing this on her.
Yes desperate times call for desperate measures, but she took that step and did it after consideration of everything or rashly. She killed herself of her own accord and Saras was traumatized witnessing this. The man is emotionally scarred. Yes blame his dad for being a cheating bastard but he cant blame him for his mother’s death.
