Saraswatichandra 8th February 2014 Written Episode
The Episode starts with Kalika entering Kumud and Saras’s bedroom. She looks around the decorations and says today Saras is yours, but this night will not be yours. You see how I burn this infront of your eyes. She goes to the power box and turns the lights off. She takes a torch and says I have switched off the main switch, now you see Kumud. She puts a wire on the bed. She hears car’s spund and runs to see. She says how come they came so early, what should I do now, how will I leave from here. She hides. Danny and Kusum stop Saras and Kumud. Kusum says lets do the Grah Pravesh first. Saras asks Danny why is the lights off. Danny says maybe the power went. How will we do the rituals. Kusum says no worries, Kumud will be bringing lights in our house.
She goes to bring the aarti plate and Danny goes to check the fuse. Saras asks Kumud to do their ritual till they come back. Kumud smiles. Danny checks the fuse and sees the main off. He calls Kusum and asks who has switched off the mains. She says I don’t know, hurry up. He switched it on but power does not come. He checks the fuse and says its blown off. Kusum says what will we do now. Danny says I will call the electrician after the Grah Pravesh. Saras asks about the lights. Danny says the fuse blew off, I called the electrician. Kusum does the Grah Pravesh and smiles. Kalika sees this standing far.
Kalika thinks they are standing at the door, how should I leave now. Everyone would be looking for me at home. Kusum does the tilak and aarti of Saras and Kumud. Kumud and Saras smile. Kusum welcomes them inside the house. Saras and Kumud steps in. Kusum does all the rituals. Kumud marks the floor with her red footprints. Kusum asks Saras and Kumud to go to their room. Kalika is tensed. Saras and Kumud walk towards their room with Kusum.
Kusum asks Saras for her Nek. Saras asks what. Danny says before Suhaagraat, the groom has to pay the tax to women. Saras gives her much money as Nek. Kusum is happy. Danny asks for his share. Kumud opens the door and they walk in. Saras and Kumud are shocked to see fire on the bed. Even Danny and Kusum are shocked. Kumud cries. Kusum consoles her. Danny says there was lights near the bed so it caught fire. Danny says I called the electrician. Kusum says but who closes the main. Danny says maybe I did. He says we decorated the room with so much love. Saras says we can see that seeing your face. He says we are still happy. Kumud smiles. Saras hugs Danny and says we will sleep in the hall, its fine.
Kusum says no, sleep in our room. Danny says you should get some privacy. Saras says you go to your room. Danny says ok lock the drawing room, we won’t disturb you. Saras looks at Kumud. Kumud says what did this happen. Saras says nothing, so much feelings are pending. Its our dream night, I won’t let it pass away like this. Kumud asks what special will you do. He says come with me, I will tell you. She asks where. Saras brings her to the cloth factory. Kumud asks what are you doing, open the door else I will come inside. Saras says two mins. She asks its night, lets go home, I don’t want any surprise.
Saras takes her inside closing her eyes. She opens her eyes inside and the hall is fully decorated and turned into a bedroom kind with all candles and hanging cloths. Kumud smiles seeing it. Music plays………….
Kusum comes to Danny while he stares at her holding a book in hand. She feels shy. He closes the book and gets up from the bed to reach her. He comes to her and looks at her. He holds her and she closes her eyes. She turns and says its my fav show airing on tv, lets see. He says no ways, we will watch cricket match. They argue. Scene shifts to Kumud and Saras. Saras looks at her and comes closer to her. Mann ke Dor…………… plays…………… Saras touches her and she closes her eyes. Saras lifts her in his arms. Kumud smiles.
Saras asks Kumud to don her Ghunghat. He asks is anyone there at home. She asks who is it. He says please open the door, I want to meet my bride. She asks who is she. He praises her. He says she is Kumud Desai, I want to meet her. She says there is no Kumud here. He says I know she lives here, open the door, we got married today and its our suhaagraat now. She says go from here. He says I know she lives here, if you don’t open the door, I will break the door. He breaks the door and falls on her smiling.
Precap:
Saras and Kumud are together in the cloth factory smiling and looking at each other. Saras removes her jewellery and gets closer. Piya re…………. plays…………….

4. One of my favorite scenes of this week was when Kumud tries to make Saras understand that LN really loves him, and that Saras shouldn’t lose his father. I can see it both ways, from Saras’ perspective and Kumud’s. Very heart-touching scene with beautiful dialogue!!! 🙂

6. I don’t usually cry during bidaai’s but Kumud’s bidaai was really sad and emotional!!! I was crying so much, because I realized we may never see the Desai home again. The Desai home was where this show started and I really love the Desai’s and will miss them a whole bunch!!! 🙁 We may not see Dugba, VC, and Guniyal again… 🙁 It was very nice though that they didn’t make it that sad, because like always they still had their funny jokes!!! 🙂 I also realized our Kumud is no longer Kumud Sundari now she is Kumud Vyas!!! 🙂 And that does make me happy!!! 🙂

February 08, 16:38Shockingly there were a few things I didn’t like about this week’s episodes (I know right, this is the first time.)
1. I didn’t like the fact that LN’s presence changed the whole atmosphere and mood. I felt like Saras was no longer happy with his marriage, because he was too busy thinking about his dad. I was still really happy and thought SaMud marriage was beautiful, but I felt like Saras wasn’t fully there.
2. After LN came, Saras was so quiet and frustrated. They are right, it was like old Saras along time ago. He was going through loneliness again. And that shouldn’t be happening now that he is married to the love of his life, Kumud. I wanted to see him happy, not sad. That is why I liked it when he said:
Saras says I m sorry, see Kumud, its our new start today, we got this day after much difficulty, these moments are special, don’t talk about anyone else please.
3. Although it was nice to see DanSum being accepted by LN and Kusum’s bidaai, I felt as though they were stealing SaMud’s spot light. SaMud’s marriage is a really big thing for us viewers and they sort of butted into in and made it less special. No offense to DanSum because I still love them… 🙂
I hope you guys understand what I mean. Does anyone else feel this way?

I just can’t believe they are husband and wife!!! We have been waiting for the longest time and finally the writers listened to us. It makes me even more happier, because they did not follow the novel!!! Best moments of my life!!! I was really speechless and flattered!!! I can’t even express how I felt!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

4. OMG, when Saras gave Kumud his mother’s mangalsutra with the moti on, I just started bawling. That was the nicest and sweetest thing ever!!! There is no lover like Saras!!! 🙂 I hope my husband is exactly like him!!! It was such an emotional and adorable scene!!! 🙂 Loved it…

5. Hats off the Gautam and Jennifer!!! They take acting to a different level!!! I loved their expressions during their marriage!!! Their cute smiles and their charming eyes… I especially loved it when exactly Saras put the sindoor in Kumud’s maang, her tear dropped!!! It was so delightful and passionate, I was crying a whole bunch!!! I love JeNam’s acting, SaMud, and the show, SC!!! 🙂 I can say without a doubt, there is no better actors and there is no better show!!!
