Saurabbh Roy to play Draupad in ‘Mahabharata’

Actor Saurabbh Roy is ready to slip into a mythological character. He will play Draupadi’s father, Draupad, in the upcoming show “Mahabharata”. He is overjoyed with the opportunity.

“Unlike my character in daily soaps like ‘Amita Ka Amit’, the role of Draupad demands a lot more physical fitness and elegance,” Saurabbh said in a statement.

He was earlier a part of the show “Khatron Ke Khiladi Torchar” with actress Smita Bansal, and was also seen on “Amita Ka Amit” as Amita’s dream boy.

“Mahabharata” will air on Star Plus soon.
