The Episode starts with Manthara brainwashing Kaikeyi. She says Bharat will become RajKavi. Kaikeyi says he is capable as his brothers. Manthara says I can see who is capable and who isn’t, Bharat has become as you wanted, Ram’s shadow. Kaikeyi asks her to go out and sleep. Manthara says I will stay outside and protect you, but till when, who will handle you. Kaikeyi shouts on her. Manthara leaves. Kaikeyi recalls Manthara’s words and stays restless. She goes out and sees Dasharath watching his sons sleeping. She asks him to sleep. He says I was longing for them, why did you sleep. She asks him to come. He says no, Kaikeyi, my sons just came back and you are talking about sending them. She says no, after few years, we have to take this tough decision. He says no, this separation will break my heart. She says its imp, look at that banyan tree, you have made it away from the big tree so that it grows, I have realized it, Ram would rule on Ayodhya, he needs his capable brothers, all of them shouldn’t be at one place, teach Ram, send Bharat to my brother, send Laxman and Shatrughan also. Dasharath says you talk about your son Bharat, I won’t send my other sons anywhere. She asks what did you say, just my son Bharat, I m not anyone else’s mother. She gets upset. He says you are getting a wrong meaning of my words. She says I understand, just ask Bharat to go to Kaikeya, tell him that I gave this command, thanks for showing a mirror. Its morning, minister gets a news for Bharat. Bharat goes to Kaikeyi. He says dad has commanded me to go to Kaikeya. She says yes, give my love and greetings to your uncle and grandpa. Janak goes and prays to Mahadev. He says now I understand, how Sita lifted your Dhanush at the age of 8, you will take responsibility of Sita’s future, I want to announce Sita’s Swayamvar, the groom will be the one who lifts this Dhanush. Sita smiles.
Janak announces that the man who lifts Dhanush and ties the string to it, will be Sita’s groom. Parvati says Janak has given the responsibility to you. Mahadev says I have made the arrangements before itself, who is there in the world who doesn’t want to find Ram. Shatrughan says I will go with Bharat. Ram says his decision is good, don’t worry, I m with you. Dasharath permits them. He shoots arrows and recalls Shravan’s death. Rishivar comes home. He says I have to meet Dasharath. Dasharath gets hurt. Kaushalya asks what are you doing. Dasharath says I m practicing, you have got old, Ram will battle if needed. He says I can’t stay away from Ram, I have this fear. Minister comes and says Rishi Vishwamitra has come. Dasharath welcomes Vishwamitra. Ram greets him and washes his feet. Dasharath says bless Ram. Vishwamitra says I have come here to take, not give anything, Marich and Subahu are troubling me at the ashram, I can kill them, but I m Brahmarishi and I have left the weapons. Dasharath says I promise, I will kill the devils. Vishwamitra says no, I don’t need you or your army, I want Ram. Dasharath worries.
He says Ram came back just now, I will die if he goes away. Vishwamitra says life may end, but promise can’t break in Raghukul, why do you say this custom if you worry for your life, you stay happy here, I will go to ask someone else for help, but never say about your customs again. Dasharath cries. Ram stops Vishwamitra. He says thanks for coming Ayodhya, it will be my good luck to accompany you, wait till tomorrow and accept our service. Vishwamitra says fine. Dasharath gets dizzy. Ram holds him and takes him. Guru Vashisht comes and meets Vishwamitra. He says I understood your reason wasn’t just to take Ram to defeat Asurs, you have come to test Ram, don’t you know Ram is Narayan. Vishwamitra says yes, but I have to test him, you know Narayan takes numerous avatar, every avatar has a motive, this avatar’s motive is to place Maryada, its my duty, if he is Narayan’s avatar then its my Dharm to show him the way, I m angry on Dasharath.
Ram takes care of Dasharath. He says your health stays fine, what happened to you suddenly. Dasharath says I got tired, I need rest. Ram goes to Gurudev and greets. He says Dasharath isn’t fine, he is worried. Gurudev asks what is it. Ram says I want to ask you the reason, why is he afraid to send me with Rishi, you have raised Dasharath and taught him, you know him well, its my duty to end his fear, tell me. Gurudev says love is the reason for biggest fear, his fear is you, Ram, fear of getting separated from you, he loves his children, especially you. Ram says you are like his dad, you are his Guru, can’t you make him away from this fear. Gurudev says Dasharath’s disease and cure are you, can you give him an assurance, its not about his Dharm, but your Karm. Ram thinks.
