This is the story of a girl named pari who comes to rockwood college from mumbai for a singing

competition and meets and becomes friends with a person called ishaan khurana who’s the

current solo singing champ for the past two years and his career and his livelihood depends on

his pursuing this talent and winning the competition and the chance to record his solo

album.He befriends pari after she joins him in his singing and he notices her for the first time in

rockwood college campus.he asks her wher is she from and how come they have never met

before?She replies that she has just come to mumbai for the competition.he comes across to

pari as an overconfident person sure of his success.when she sees his entire life depends on

winning this competition she sincerely wishes that he should win.

Next day at the competition,ishan and pari go one after the other tto sing on the stage,and

while ishan’s song is hugely appreciated and cheered for,pari captivates the audience with her

surreal singing and wins over him.Ishan is disturbed seeing this and walks away from there.he

sits under a tree and plays solelessly while his friend tries to console him of his loss but in

vain.When his friend leaves she comes in to meet iashan and tells him that she did not expect

herself to go this far and just wanted to sing and that she would withdraw from the

competition tomorrow so that he can win.This further irks him and he says that he does nt

want a win by her sacrifice or as her favor and that he is perfecttly capable of wining in a

competitive spirit.His rude behavious upsets pari and she walks away from there.

Next day,ishan searches for pari,says sorry and they patch up.They start spending more and

more time together pursuing music and having fun.they come closer to each other.Then they move on to the next stage of the
competition.Ishan sings beautifully again but she forgets her song and starts again.Frustrated h

leaves the place she continues her singing and after finishing the song she comes upto him and

demands to know why is he upset,and despite repeated protests saying that she did not

intentionally forget her song,ishan accuses her of deliberately forgetting so that she would lose

and his win shall always remain a debt from her.That’s when she finally admits to him that she

has fallen in love with him and seeing him on the stage,she forgot everything else and was lost

in her love for him.And thats why she forgot the song.Ishan notices her genuity and hugs her

tight and they finally consummate their love and she surrenders herself to him and they

become one in a barn shed.

Next day,a very happy and content pari tells him of her future plans of how she intends to

marry him and pursue their musical dream together and compose and sing together.Ishan is

shocked hearing this and goes on to explain that for once he is feeling in control of his life and

wants to take it in a particular direction and does not want to be tied down to a person and

settle.thats not what he aspires for.he wants money,name and fame and establishing himself

properly before settling down with the love of his life.And also they do not know much about

each other and does not want to make a hasty desision that he would regret later.When asked

of the importance of the last night and the last 7 days that they had spent together he goes on

to clarify that that was a beautiful part of his life but not his life itself and that they both should

move on.Lovestruck pari is heartbroken and she runs away from there leaving her necklace by

mistake that ishan find and keeps with him.Both their worlds are turned upside down with this

new turn of events.she is devastated and he ,frustrated breaks his guitar.Finally practicality

takes over him and he calls pari and refuses to settle down with her saying the night they spend

together was a mistake and that they both wanted different things from life.Pari is shattered

and returns back to his parents house.

Many years pass by and time flies.

An older pari is shown talking to addy,a young lad about his father for whom they have been

waiting for several years.And is wondering to herself that if she took the right descision in not

telling ishan about his son.Just then there’s a knock on the door and ishan is shown on the

other side of the door.It looks as if they are about to meet,when its shown that they actually are

on the other side of two different doors.Pari opens the door to aman,her and addy’s only friend

for 4 years and ishan is let in by his college friend.He tells his friend that he has come back to

this place to forget about pari and erase every memory of her’s from his heart.on the other

hand aman,comes in with an announcement saying that he’s got a better job offer in australia

and that he would have to move.Pari wonders that she never thought that they would become

such close friends and that she would actually begin to miss him to which aman says that he

has a plan to avoid that,and takes her by complete surprise in a church by asking her hand for

marriage.In this church ishan is shown to be praying when aman and pari walk in but their

paths dont cross.Pari,a little taken aback asks for some time and also for some talks with addy if

he approves of aman as their family member and eventually his father.

Meanwhile ishan and his friend strolling around come across addy,by whom ishan instantly

feels attracted by an inexplicable connection.They go on to chat in sign langauge for a while

and become good friends.they start spending time together and ishan starts returning to his old

self again.he says that he has no reason to be sad when a deaf boy can be so happy with his

life.They play and enjoy each other’s music for some time.he gives the same plucker to addy

when leaving him off and tells him never to leave music.Addy comes and hugs him,and pari at

her place intsantly feels something by a divine love connection.Her freind is shown advising

her to forget ishan and think about her life ahead.She says that he just wants to meet him once

and hear him say that what happned that night was love and not a mistake.She decides to give

aman’s proposal a serious thought but is concerned about addy’s reaction.Just then addy walks

in.and goes to his room and starts fiddling with the guitar when he sees aman talking to his

mother.Pari comes in and explains that she and addy have to move on and that they have

waited a long time voluntarily for a man who never promised that he would come back to

them.,Addy finally understands and gives his consent to pari to marry aman.Pari a little sad,is

again reminded of ishan and her love for him.ishan too is in the rain and is reminded of her

and confesses to wanting to meet her for once before going back again to delhi.

Pari and aman are busy with their marriage preparations when addy runs to ishan who has

packed his bags to go back and with his eyes, urges him not to leave.Ishan again feels the

inexplicable pull of this boy and agrees to come to his mother’s marraige party to play guitar

with him on his repeated insistence.

Meanwhile the day arrives,pari is getting addy ready and gives him the guitar and on seeing the

plucker is reminded f ishan who carried the same kind in his college days.Addy goes out in the

lawn and is eagerly waiting for his friend to come.Finally ishan comes and starts playing with

addy.pari instantly recognizes his voice and immediately rushes towards the lawn where they

both finally see each other but are too dumbstruck to say anything.he puts two and two

together and deduces that addy is after all his son and says that he is sorry for not knowing

what he wanted from his life then,pari too apologizes for not telling him about addy.Old flames

rekindle and they finally hug each other again.addy is overjoyed to see this and hugs both of

them and this love story finally has a happy ending.
