Being a prominent role in the show do you relate to the character of Draupadi who is a very strong headed, focused and upfront woman?

There is a lot to take back home from the character of Draupadi. It tells you to remain strong, it talks about women empowerment and upliftment of women which becomes necessary in today’s era were women are ill-treated and abused in various ways. I think there is lot to learn by this character.

Share your experience of auditioning for this show?

My audition happened all of sudden. When I came to know about auditions I was confused whether to go for auditions or not because I wasn’t very sure that I would be able to play this role. I finally decided to give auditions and I got selected. I enjoyed the process of auditioning this show. As soon as I got selected I was called for the training.

Is acting difficult for you because you started your career with modeling?

No not actually because before acting I did lot of stuff like modeling then I was anchoring with entertainment channel. I would say yes and no both for this question. Yes because I had passion of acting and I love acting. No because Draupadi’s character is little difficult to play, it is not a created character as it is in other serials, I need to portray the exact Draupadi which is difficult at times.

What difficulties you faced while playing such a challenging role?

You need to be strong enough physically to play such role, because you need to carry your costumes and heavy jewelry in scorching heat when you do exterior shoots.

How has been your journey so far?

My journey so far was very exciting, I daily get to learn new things from my character.

How is your equation with co stars?

It is great we all work as a team, we are like a family. We spend great time on the sets by chit chatting, playing games and doing other stuff. The Pandavs and Kauravs areadorable boys, Saurabh Raaj Jain, Veebha (Vibha) Anand they all are good actors.

Which genre would you like to explore in future?

I seriously don’t have an opinion for this because I don’t plan my future.

In future what would you prefer a challenging role or any role you get?

Any actor would prefer an interesting role, no actor takes whatever comes their way. In future I would prefer to take a challenging or interesting role which will sharpen my acting skills

What interests you other then acting?

Reading interest me, I am a habitual reader.

A message to your fans?

I love the response I get from the audience for the show. I hope I entertain audience in all possible ways and I live up to their expectations.
