Yash Pandit injures himself while performing a stunt for Life OK’s Savitri

What come may, the show must go on on Indian television. Yash Pandit, who plays Satya on Life OK’s Savitri (Flying Turtle Films) is battling a rib injury which he suffered yesterday (7 April 2013) while performing a stunt on the show. Nevertheless, he has reported to work today despite being in immense pain and spending a sleepless night.

Yash does all his own stunts. During the tenth jump while executing the stunt he landed from a height of five feet on a wrong position because of which he hurt himself. He told us, “I have landed perfectly from a height of ten feet too. I however sustained an injury just this time. There is swelling on my right ribs. I can’t raise my arm. Those on the sets were quite prompt in giving me first aid. I have been using balms and painkillers which have made me drowsy. I do hope that I recuperate soon,”

Kudos to your professionalism, Yash! We wishes you a speedy recovery.
