Yeh Hai Mohabbatein 28th August 2014 Written Episode
The Episode starts with Ishita coming to Shagun and starting verbal firing. She confronts Shagun for leaking such info. Shagun says she did not use it, she just shared this with him, I m going to get married to him, I did not know he will use it. Ishita says enough, you are a sadist, you always hurt Raman, he signed on that paper to save your life, think about Raman, how will she face colony and school kids, what type of mum are you. Shagun says Raman signed the papers and he chose me, this is your problem, right.
Ishita says he did what a decent man would do. Shagun says he is fooling you. They have an argument. Shagun says stop this nonsense. Ishita says Raman always saves you, he should have chosen Ruhi, not you, as you don’t deserve this. Shagun says stop this lecture. Raman comes and says Shagun is saying right. He says Ishita don’t waste time, such women does not change, I m happy that our daughter’s upbringing is done by you, make sure my Ruhi does not go on her. He holds Ishita’s hand and leaves.
Mr. Bhalla brings Ruhi home and asks her not to cry. Mrs. Bhalla asks why is she crying. Ruhi goes to her room. Mrs. Bhalla comes after her and asks what happened. Ruhi says Papa does not love me, he did not wanted me, he did not wish to bring me from hospital, as I m girl. She says no, he loves you. Ruhi says no, you are lying, Its written in paper. She says no, its all false in paper. Shravan comes and says she is crying till now, girls are stupid, who always cry, come, lets go and make project together. Ruhi says she won’t come. Shravan says he will not tease her and will make her smile. Mrs. Bhalla asks her to go. Ruhi goes with him. Mrs. Bhalla is sad that Ruhi got hurt. She says if Ruhi asks this question to Raman, he will break down.
Raman and Ishita come home. He thanks her. She says thanks for thanks. She says don’t get affected by this nonsense, I know its personal issue and it does hurt, but still…. I saw your old pics, Ruhi’s childhood pics, you looked very happy, I realized that you got that happiness from Shagun, that memories no one can take it from you. He says we will get new memories of you and me, of us. She says ours? He says it will be different, like your pasta. They smile and have a talk. He says the day I say about your lectures, you will feel bad. She says you already say a lot. He says whats bad if I say a line after your half page lecture, I felt glad as today I heard your lecture for someone else. They taunt each other with sweet names, like Teekha Mirch (angry Raman)and Haldi ka Dabba, as she wears yellow saree. She smiles. Yeh hai mohabbatein……………plays………… Raman leaves.
Parmeet talks to Ashok and says congrats Raman is getting insulted, you will get the contract. Ishita hears this. He sees her and welcomes her. She says you are celebrating before winning, our move is still there. He says this time your magic won’t work, its big news, no one can save Raman this time. She says you and Ashok always played such games and always lost, you don’t use mind, don’t work hard as no one will fail us till Raman and I are together. She taunts him. He laughs. Ishita comes home and sees Ruhi leaving. Mrs. Bhalla cries and says Ruhi came to know about paper matter.
Mr. Bhalla says some kid might have told her in school. Mrs. Bhalla says she cried a lot, she feels Raman wanted to not bring her home, she did not have food, Shravan took her, I can’t see her crying, what should I tell her that her mum is lying and taking revenge to hurt her dad. She says I don’t have any answer for her innocent questions, till when will we hide and lie, what will we do if it comes on tv tomorrow, how will we save her heart from broken. Ishita consoles her. Mr. Bhalla says Ruhi was not even able to say this. Ishita says she will explain Ruhi, don’t take tension.
Ashok and Raman meet in the parking lot. Ashok says I told you many times, that your everything comes to me, tell me why you came here, don’t say you came here for bidding for girl child. He taunts Raman knowing he was not wrong. Raman says its my big mistake. Ashok says your big mistake is you have let Shagun come to me, with your secrets. Raman says my big mistake is I allowed you to stay alive. Raman taunts him and says you will know fatherhood when you become a father. Get a child first, what do you have your own, you got my wife and son, whats yours. Raman leaves taunting him.
Ishita comes and sees Ruhi upset. She hears Shravan and Ruhi talking. She says baby hears everything in mum’s tummy. Ishita wipes her tears and says Ruhi is right, and asks Shravan to love her baby sister a lot. Shravan leaves as Amma calls the kids. Ishita says Ruhi go. Ruhi cries. Ishita pacifies her and says you cried a lot today, you did no change uniform and have food, does good girls do this, she clears the paper matter to her and says your Papa loves you a lot. She says some people wanted to trouble him, so ……….. Ruhi says I should have been in your tummy, not Shagun’s, you would have protected me. Ruhi says Papa should have married you, not Shagun. Teri bechaini ka…………………. Ishita cries and hugs her being amazed by her innocent words.
Ishita says enough, Papa loves you a lot, Raman always loved you and God is very intelligent and wanted to send you to me, so he has sent you to Shagun to make you come to me slowly. She says Papa signed that paper to save Shagun, so that you can come. She says if Shagun is not there, no Ruhi, if she is there, then Ruhi, so my Ruhi came to me now, don’t think Papa does not love you, you are his fav and I have surprise for you, Ruhi will get it when she comes home, have food. She kisses Ruhi and takes her home.
Ishita shows the video to Ruhi when she was born, which Romi took. The video has Raman being very happy and distributing sweets when Ruhi was born. Raman lifts Ruhi and thanks her for coming in his life. Ishita says now you know how much your Papa loves you. Ruhi says he did not ask me to God, it was written in paper. Ishita says you take his test if you want to know he loves you or not, you ask him your likes and dislikes, fears etc, if he answers then it proves he loves you. Ruhi asks was this the surprise. Ishita says no, wear your fav dress then you will get the surprise. Ruhi leaves. Ishita says how to explain you Ruhi, your Papa loves you a lot, I will have to prove this to whole world.
Precap:
Ruhi asks Raman does he love her. He says yes, a lot. She says she will take his test and asks shall I ask few questions. He says yes, ask anything, I will pass this test, I challenge you. Shagun makes an angry face and looks on..

Lovely lovely episode from all points… social, drama, acting, script, direction…and a heart wrenching, heart warming episode…
Ishita for the first time, being so stern with Apshagun. From the Shagun spoke, it sounded as if she is competing with Ruhi for Raman’s attention, she is jealous of Ruhi, and the list goes on. The way she flaunted that Raman chose her over Ruhi… I was not shocked though. For this is woman who reminds me of Snow White’s step mother… “Mirror Mirror on the wall, who is the Fairest of us all”… Shagun is the same evil queen. Difference is , she is jealous of her own daughter
Loved the way Ishita confronted Shagun. Raman did not have to say much. His actions spoke the best..holding Ishita’s hand and walking out after a short taunt to Shagun.
Raman and Ishita scene was classic. Here was Ishita trying to tell Raman “Woh sari khushian aap kpo Shagun se mili hain. Woh yadein koi nahin chin sakta.’. But what did Raman say? What is the first thing that came to his mind today…”Yaadon ka kya hai.. nayi ban jayengi. Tumahri aur meri…hamari..thodi si alag hongi..jaise tumhari pasta..”
Raman was not only teary eyed. His eyes were full of love and respect for then woman who showed him the right direction, guided him, loved his daughter as if her own, cared for his family, and now was in love with him. Today for the first time I felt, Raman is completely free of Shagun’s yaadein… It was an “almost confession..” Hats off to Karan for bringing out the emotions so well. I could not stop my tears during this scene.
But wait there was more to come…Our little Ruhi..and her Ishimaa… Ruhi the angel, Ruhi the heart of the show, Ruhi the rooh of the show… This little girl will one day grow up to be a fine actress. The scenes were so heartwarming… had to sit with a tissue box.
Pervmeet was gr8 in what he does best. Anurag Sharma is doing absolute justice to the role.
The Satyameva Jayate promo after YHM was in line with the social message in the episode. …overall some wonderful, beautiful moments… hope there is more to come…Kudos to the writers, director and the actors…!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YHM rokczzz

Now today I finally got the message what our show is about and what is that binds our show together and which raises yhm quality to its highest quality and in which writers of our show are at best and well unfortunately or fortunately it is not Raman and ishita romance but heartbeat and soul of show is Ruhi and Ruhi relation with her mummy and papa and relationship between them due to Ruhi
If you noticed today that when it is something related to Ruhi both Raman and ishita express more freely and openly like today Raman when indirectly due to Ruhi he said lot of things to ishita which he can’t when he wants to say and do under normal circumstances and so whether we like it or not it is always about Ruhi ke liye
Ruhanika dhawan is easily star of show and it is amazing how well she emotes so well at such a tender age and manage to bring out pain and innocence of Ruhi perfectly
Today episode was easily the best of last few weeks and it was all made possible by story angle related to Ruhi her papa and her ishima and even villains were in top form liked it
The first scene was very good with ishita confronting Shagun and saying all that should be said to airhead and even then it became clear airhead only thinks about herself and isn’t even bothered collateral damage to Ruhi but trust Raman to give finishing touches to insult of Shagun and he did it in style by calling Ruhi his and ishita daughter and make sure she does not go after airhead and gave a tight slap to her by taking ishita back him by holding her hand and bg score added to it
The scene between Raman and ishita was top class where ishita still somehow thinks Raman hasn’t moved beyond memories of airhead and still remembers her memories but Raman clearly told her indirectly that he wants to spend rest of his life with her and indirectly saying anything without saying it and when she does not get it he gets back to his usual taunts and one liners and Raman really liked her calling him mirchi haha
The scene between ishita and pervert was awesome and I must say pervert adds a lot of value to scene by smiling shamelessly despite insults and ishita was pretty fearless threatening him and looks like she is prepares for pervert and divyanka was good here
The scene between Ruhi shravan and toshiji was very sweet where shravan is consoling her but Ruhi is still sad and toshiji is clueless and sad
The scenes between Ruhi and ishita were just awesome and emotional and Ruhi once again sort of way affirming her faith in ishita saying she would never abandon her like Shagun and how it would have been better if she had been born through her and ishita like always manages to put a positive spin to it and manages to sort of convince her and both ruhanika and divyanka were awesome
Short video showing birth of Ruhi was very sweet and nerd Raman was looking funny though sweet and it is nice writers are focussing on Ruhi birth too
So we are going to have Ruhi Raman emotional bumper scene tomorrow

A small girl … her existence brought destruction …even before she was to take her first breath … her fate was decided … abandonment …
Was the job of a parent only to SECURE the life of his CHILD … or does parenting encompass much more … TONITE .. Ruhi taught her parents the much needed lesson … abandonment was not just for the elders … a child who was UNBORN could feel the abandonment as well …
In tonites episode … as she cried & emptied her heart out to Ishita … she said i wish i was born out of ur womb … not SHAGUN’s … in her heart RUHI knew her papa loved her … its for this reason she once again rejected her BIRTH MOTHER … she did not even in her deeply disturbed state ever mention … I WISH RAMAN BHALLA WAS NOT MY FATHER …
A child’s heart recognises pure love … & Ruhi in her heart knows her papa loves her … but he did abandon her … an abandonment for which he never answered for … a young girl who he brought to life … at the first sign of trouble in his life he abandoned her …
Today Ruhi is going to teach her papa a lesson … IN this trying time .. when he is in TROUBLE .. she will not ABANDON him …
He stood in his ex wife’s house .. holding his current wife’s hand & expressly told her … DO NOT LET MY DAUGHTER BECOME LIKE THIS WOMAN >> SHAGUN …
Raman though he loves his daughter very very very much … has not understood her yet … SHE IS NOT SHAGUN … she is RUHI … a reflection of ISHITA … the woman destined to be her mother … CAUSE .. RUHI will not RUN AWAY from RAMAN at the first sign of TROUBLE … today Ruhi will put to rest her fathers fears .. that the mole on the top of her lip does not make her SHAgun’s daughter … she is RUHI RAMAN BHALLA an individual .. what a wonderful way for the writer to travel full circle . this is called closing a loop
To say this is my fav episode ever on INDIAN TV would not be an understatement … I only wish i can do justice to this episode & to the writers thot with a simple post … I really do stand & bow to the writers tonite …
I have done 3 – 4 posts now about the difference in the 2 women in Raman;s life .. Shagun & ishita …
& its like since i have done these posts all i can see is the writer just highlighting this in their discourse everyday …
Tonite a mother for personal gain sacrificed the happiness of a child … wasn’t abandoning her child enuf .. today she has put in question her whole existence … which person wants to pass thru life knowing they were UNWANTED .. or UNLOVED .. When Ishita brought this to her notice .. she did not even blink an eyelid … to her NO SACRIFICE is a Small SACRIFICE for herself .. each & every one will be compromised to reach her ultimate goal .. the GOAL of Mrs. ASHOK KHANNA …
On the other end the other woman .. she blasted Shagun for her uncaring attitude .. she was the SHERNI that Toshi wanted her to be … she spewed venom on Shagun … finally she got a reward which she never expected … the 2 most important people in her life … BOTH JUST WANTED HER … they TO ERASE THEIR PASTS … THE PAST WHICH HAD SHAGUN …
RAMAN spoke to her about HAMESHA & NEW MEMORIES .. RUHI SAID .. UR THE ONLY MOTHER I HAVE & WANT …
But this woman who with a word could’ve today ruined it all for SHAGUN chose to first think of her CHILD … she told her child … U were destined to be with me hence u r here … BUT UR EXISTENCE IS THANX TO UR MOTHER — SHAGUN … however bad a mother is … one should always LOVE & RESPECT her for BRINGING U TO LIFE …
I honestly at that moment wanted to stand up & salute the writer … The brilliance of this one scene will stay with me for a long long time … Only a TRUE MOTHER … CAN RESPECT ANOTHER MOTHER .. ONLY A TRUE MOTHER TEACHES HER CHILD ONLY TO LOVE … NOT HATE …
What a lesson tonite Ishita taught not only RUHI … but all of us viewers as well .. it is so easy in life to instill hate … but so difficult to instill love …
If u are still in doubt this is not about Raman not wanting her to be born .. .it is time now for RAMAN to answer to RUHI on the first 6 years of his life … one fine day he walked up to her & hugged her saying from now onwards i am always going to be soft for u … BUT BUT BUT … did that answer the 6 years of abandonment … NO … so Raman Kumar Bhalla … this is the biggest TEST of ur life … the test of acceptance … the test of being a father …
Ofcourse no one has briefed raman about those questions .. he will sail thru … & do u know why based on those ques Ruhi;s heart will accept him … it will coz she will finally realise her father NEVER ABANDONED HER …

( self promotion sorry ) … but if u read my yesterdays post .. then the ASHOK KHANNA bit is already very evident .. i ended my post by saying .. ASHOK KHANNA HAS A PREMATURE HAPPINESS PROBLEM .. tonite v could see that in spades …
Now for the other important aspect of this RUHI track … ISHITA …
Some of u came to my thread & asked why is this track happening ?? so here goes ..
I HAVE WRITTEN THIS A MILLION TIMES … this track is about YEH HAI MOHABBATEIN . the romance track is underway … so here goes …
Lets go back to how this story started … it started with a WRONG COMPLAIN of RAMAN BEING A BAD FATHER by NONE Other than ISHITA herself …
Ishita went to the PRESS .. & she lambasted Raman for being a bad father … a claim he heard quietly .. she said he WAS NOT CAPABLE OF LOVE … how wrong was she … she married Raman also to save RUHI from a BAD FATHER …
She has never verbalised that he is a GOOD FATHER .. or that HOW WRONG WAS SHE IN HER ASSESSMENT OF RAmAN as a FATHER …
This is called travelling the Full circle ..
Raman & Ishita are married .. the last track was all about their marriage … …
Now this current track is the blowing away of the masks … its the blowing away of MYTHS .. blowing away the covers … this is the track for ROMANCE ..
The biggest MYTH & COVER for these 2 has been “SIRF RUHI KE LIYE” & while u can keep that cover on the side .. it can’t be fully removed without
clarifying the fact that RAMAN IS a man who loves his CHILD DEEPLY … but was just unable to articulate that love …
This marriage now need not be about SIRF RUHI KE LIYE … Big smile
Can a woman .. who is a mother to the core of her being … ever truly love or give herself to a man .. who does not LOVE A CHILD … a child of his own at that ???
Now look at this sub track with this lens … isn’t the writer just BRILLIANT >…
Did u not see when Raman saw her at Shagun’s place standing up for him … he removed the LAST SPECTRE OF HIS PAST FROM HIS LIFE … IF ADI was what held Raman for Shagun .. Ruhi was what held Shagun for Raman .. tonite he removed her completely from his life .. he exhumed his past very effectively …
hence the dialog … WE WILL CREATE OUR OWN MEMORIES … of course they will be different … but they will be ours … ( here i think he meant the memory of being in the shower with his legally wedded wife who was wet & all he did was stare at her Angry )
BUT the icing on the cake … he told her ONE OF THESE DAYS I WILL TELL U WHAT I THINK OF WHEN U GIVE UR LECTURES …
