Blaze on Aaj Ki Housewife Hai’s set…property damaged

In an unfortunate development, the set of Zee TV’s Aaj Ki Housewife Hai … Sab Jaanti Hai (Gulshan Sachdeva) caught fire and was up in flames, much to the horror of the cast and crew.

As per media reports, the blaze engulfed the property causing substantial damage. The incident took place today early in the morning (30 July 2013).

Said a source: “It is believed that an electrical short circuit could have triggered the fire. However, nothing can be confirmed yet. The situation is under control now and thankfully, no one is hurt. Shooting will resume in an alternative premise soon.”

When contacted Aniruddh Dave aka Kanhaiya, he confirmed the unfortunate happening.
