The young and dynamic Preetika Rao who made her debut in the television industry with the Muslim social drama Beintehaa, playing the role of Aaliya Zain Abdullah has taken the audience by surprise with her simplistic beauty, charismatic voice and quality performance on the show. One may hardly know of what are her likes and dislikes are in real life. We takes this opportunity and brings some interesting facts about Preetika.
1. Hailing from Mangalore, Preetika is the younger sister of Bollywood actor Amrita Rao.
2. The talented actor is not only beautiful but also smart and intelligent. She has graduated majoring in history from Sophia College, Mumbai, while acquiring a diploma in advertising and journalism.
3. Prior to her stint in Beintehaa, Preetika acted in a Tamil film Chikku Bukku in 2010 and a romantic film Priyudu, which marked her Telugu film debut in 2011.
4. Preetika was crowned Miss Asia 2011 at the 37th International World Beauty Awards held on 22 June 2011.
5. Preetika does not have a make-up artist. She does her own make-up as she claims to know her face well.
6. Preetika is a strict vegetarian.
7. The beautiful lady loves Thai and French food. Additionally being a Mangalorean, she cannot do without her daily dose of rice and curry with coconut in it.
8. If not an actor, Preetika would have been a singer. In fact, she always dreamt of singing her own songs and seeing it getting transformed into an album.
