SHAHANA’s HOUSE;
Shahana is preparing a strategy to counter Rathore’s move ..She picks out a Sharp needle, a vial of poison, A gun and prepares to leave but hesitates when she sees that she has to leave Ayesha alone … Getting a grip on herself , She walks out on her infant daughter, finds her maid climbing up the stairs , instructs her to hurry up and reach Ayesha , the baby fast..
Shahana gets into the car and calls up Jadda , commands him to be her back up.. Jadda agrees to be her back up..
ROADS OF MUMBAI:
Rathore and Jignesh are nearing the Immigration office when their road is blocked by a marriage party … The Police convoy get down from the jeep and proceed by foot towards their place of destination …Shahana and jadda to reach the immigration office … Shahana takes the sharp pointed needle, dips it into the poison and stabs Jignesh right in the middle of the crowd … Her flight is noticed by Ratjore who goes in hot pursuit of Shahana and for his troubles is shot by a waiting Shahana .. Rathore falls and faints and is taken to the hospital..The very hospital in which Shahana’s daughter Ayesha too is hospitalized as she had fallen from the bed and was bruised badly…
Meanwhile in Bhargava’s residence .. The pinch of money is felt slightly and Rashmi is filing the requisite papers needed for procuring the provident fund of her brother’s .. A curious Mittu interrupts Rashmi and wants to know the story of Shivaji and Afzal Khan..on being told the story , Mittu tells that Rathore is Shivaji and that he must kill Nishant as Nishant had hurt Rashmi.. Rashmi diverts Mittu’s mind and Mittu goes to watch TV where he gets to know that Rathore has been Shot !!
Mittu insists on seeing Rathore , Both Mittu and Rashmi visit Rathore, exchange pleasantries .. it is also here in this very hospital that the paths of Rashmi and Shahana crosses as drawn by the bawling sound of Ayesha, Mittu goes to check on the baby and is followed by an anxious Rashmi.. Mittu unknowingly informs shahana that Rathore is in next bed and that he has been shot by terrorists … Shahana peeks in thru the partition and has her glimpse of convalescing Rathore …
