Aanchal Khurana lives up to her ‘nick-name’ yet again; read to know details…

Aanchal Khurana’s trend of being the ‘resurrector’ continues, with her dramatic entry in Zee TV’s Sarojini.

Wondering why we are saying so?

Well, while she played the entertaining character of Charu in Zee TV’s popular show, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, she was lovingly given a nick-name by her crew members.

Aah, she was fondly called ‘TRP’ on the sets.. And the reason for this was that every time, the channel and makers found the need to up the drama quotient, they would re-introduce the track of the comic vamp Charu, and the numbers always saw an upward swing.

And the same has happened in Sarojini too, the Rashmi Sharma Productions show.

As per a reliable source, “Sarojini has hit the 1.0 mark this week, and the channel and production are emphatic about the increase. The ‘soutan’ track of Manisha and the turbulence that she has created in the life of the protagonist Sarojini (Shiny Doshi) has been received well, and we intend to spill in more drama, coming from Manisha’s master mind brain.”

When contacted, Aanchal laughed at the nice coincidence and said, “Yes, it is true that I was called TRP on the sets of Sapne Suhane. When I used to get re-introduced in the track, and the moment I used to enter the set, the entire team would shout and say, ‘Ye lo humari TRP aagayi’…I used to really feel proud and nice. And yes, in the same manner, Sarojini has seen an increase in ratings and I have been getting a good response from the channel and production house.”

Aanchal continued, “I dislike playing the light-hearted and comic vamp roles. I would rather like to get into a positive vein in the future. Having said this, the vampish roles of mine are the ones that get appreciated. So I am happy doing what I am doing.”

Way to go, Aanchal!!
