Bade Acche Lagte Hai 4th July 2012 Written Update

The episode begins with Priya and the little girl walking out of Kapoor Mansion. Priya thinks to herself, wondering what she should do. By right she should give herself up to the police. Whether the verdict of the law was right or wrong, in the eyes of the law, she (Priya) was a criminal. A criminal who was sentenced to 14 years of jail. Priya tells herself that was the right decision, to go to the police station and surrender herself…that she was alive and to finish the rest of her sentence. Priya turns back and sees Kapoor Mansion. She thinks that she cannot do that because it meant that Ram would also be subjected to 14 years of suffering. Priya did not want Ram to spend 14 years of vanvas because of her. Ask Ram, Priya…ask him what he wants!

Priya feels that for Ram go move forward in life, it was necessary that she went away from his life. For that, she had to prove herself dead. Priya is also worried about the little child, where would the child go? Her mother too gave the responsibility of the child to her, Priya thinks that she has to fulfil that responsibility too. For the sake of Ram and the child’s new life, Priya decides that she has to go somewhere far where no one recognises her. Today if by going far away, Ram and the child got a new life, Priya accepts her decision. Do you really think Ram would be happy without you, Priya? He deserves to at least know you’re alive.

Ram is sitting in his room, drinking, with Priya’s photo in front of him. He looks at her photo and asks her what has she done? How could she leave him half way and go? How could he live without her? It was so strange, she (Priya) taught him to live and she left him and went away. Ram looks at Priya’s photo and tells her sadly that she didn’t do the right thing. He asks Priya…why was he asking her, what was her fault? The fault was his, he was not able to save her. He had all the money in the world, all the strength in the world but he could not do anything for her. Ram tells Priya that he was a useless husband, he should have gone in her place. It was not Priya’s fault and yet she went away. All his life he had to endure this guilt and perhaps this was his punishment.

Ram says, looking at Priya’s photo that he sometimes thinks that he had all the bad habits in the world…he would eat the wrong type of food, never excercise and did not take care of his health. Priya never did anything wrong in her life,why did she go? Ram is overcome by grief and remembers some of his moments with Priya. A sad version of the title song plays and Ram has tears falling down his face.

Priya takes the little girl and goes to a place to make an international call. Do you have the money to pay for the call? Ok, this may not be a blooper, you can collect call. Then we are shown Dubai. A lady picks up the phone and Priya asks to speak to a Mr Rajat Kapoor. The lady asks Priya what the matter was. Priya says that she has something important to talk with Mr Rajat Kapoor. The lady again asks what the matter was. Priya says that this number was given to her by Jothy Malhotra. The lady recognises the name. Priya tells the woman that she and Jothy were involved in an accident and unfortunately Jothy passed away. The lady is shocked that Jothy is dead. She asks about Jothy’s daughter. Priya says that the child is fine and was with her.

Priya tells the lday that Jothy asked her to call this number to say what happened and take the child safely to that address. The lady thanks Priya and asks her for one more favour…to bring the child to Dubai. Her son was out of town on business and lady further says that her health wasn’t fine otherwise she would have come to take the child. Priya tells the lady that she would have come but she lost all her belongings in the accident. She did not have any identity proof, passport, money or any means by which she could come to Dubai. The lady tells Priya not to worry, asks her to wait for 2 days and she would arrange everything. The lady asks for Priya’s details. Priya tells her that her name was Priya Ka…Priya stops and then tells the woman that her name was Priya Sharma. She gives the woman the address of the guesthouse she was in.

The lady tells Priya not to worry and she would arrange everything. Priya asks her if she could call the same number if there was any problem. The lady tells Priya that she could do that without any hesitation.

Ram is shown holding Priya’s photo and thinking of her. Some of the beautiful Ram-Priya moments are shown. Ram hugs the photo and lies down on the couch. Some more Ram-Priya scenes are shown. Ekta doesn’t fail to promote her movie song here…the Shirt Da Button song plays in the background! Ram falls asleep hugging Priya’s photo.

We see Dubai again and Priya comes to a house, bringing the little girl. Priya introduces herself to the woman whom she spoke to on the phone. How does Priya come to Dubai, how did she get the passport done, would the police not have found out that she is alive…Ekta and her creatives…Jai Ho!! Priya hands over Jothy’s handbag to the lady. The lady asks Priya what happened to Jothy and Priya explains what happened. Priya says that no one was willing to help and Jothy before dying gave her the responsibility of her child. Priya says that the lady’s telephone number was in the handbag.

Priya thanks the lady for her help in arranging for Priya to come to Dubai. Priya tells her that she did not have money, passport or anything else. Priya thanks her once again. The lady says that she should thank Priya and God for introducing Priya to them who brought Raina (the little girl) safely to them. Priya says that Jothy told her to talk to Mr Rajat Kapoor, so…The lady who is called Daija says that Rajat was not in, he was out on work. Another girl comes there. She is Raina’s sister. Priya is happy to see the 2 sisters hugging. The lady says that the girl was Raina’s elder sister who was studying and staying in a boarding school. She had asked Rajat, who was the child’s 2nd guardian to call her back from boarding school.

The little girl Raina tells her elder sister that their mother had passed away. The elder girl says that first their father, then their mother left them…she hates God. God took away everyone she loves. She asks her little sister to go away from her, otherwise God would take her away too. Priya calls the girls to her and explains to them that God was not bad. Sometimes he called our loved ones to him because as much as we loved him, God loved them more and would take better care of them. Priya asks them not to talk like that about God. They were not alone in this world, Daija was there and so was she. Whenever they felt the need for a friend, they could call her and she (Priya) would come to them. Yes, its easy…its Ekta’s world afterall…Ram should have asked Ekta and her creatives for help to save Priya from the law! Priya and the girls shake hands and Priya says that they were friends now.

Priya decides to leave. Daija asks Priya where would she go. Priya says that she came till here, she would go somewhere. Priya hugs the girls and kisses them. She is about to leave when she feels dizzy and falls on the chair, fainting.

Ram is looking at the book he gifted Priya, where it is written…To Dear Priya, With love, Ram Ram wonders what was happening to him, why did he feel that somewhere, something wrong was happening. They then show us Priya sleeping on a hospital bed. She wakes up. The doctor and nurse come in. He checks Priya and asks her how she was feeling. He tells her that there was some good news for her, she was going to be a mother. Priya looks shocked.
