Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 4th July 2012 Written Update

Nidhi is crying recalling Ashu’s harsh words outside a golgappa stall. Anji finds her and Nidhi hugs her crying bitterly. She is shattered that Ashu doesn’t believe her. Anji says she should’ve not left her house as it means Mallika won. Anji tries explaining Ashu’s PoV that he reacted to what he saw. She should fight for her love and her husband and should give Mallika a taste of her own medicine. Shyama also knows about this fight and agrees with Anji. Nidhi can’t let her love lose and inspired by Anji’s word, she vows to fight back. Anji gives her a reassuring hug and drops her home.

Meanwhile, Mallika tells Baba and Ashu that she doesn’t think Nidhi will return. Ashu seems unperturbed and is still furious with Nidhi. Mallika pretends that she thinks this is not right and Baba is fully against Nidhi leaving the house. He advises Ashu to call Nidhi, she might have made a mistake but they can’t let her leave like this. Ashu is about to call her when Mallika quickly advises him against it as Nidhi might still be angry. He should sleep over it and let Nidhi do the same. But just then, Nidhi walks in with a determined look on her face. Mallika is shocked to see her back. Nidhi approaches Mallika and apologises to her and even falls on her feet!. Mallika is taken aback and gets annoyed. She makes Nidhi get up but Nidhi continues with her performance (and what a performance!.). Ashu is still hard with her. Baba asks Mallika to forgive Nidhi and Nidhi refuses to leave Mallika’s feet till she forgives her.Mallika is forced to “forgive” Nidhi Nidhi insists on taking Mallika to her room

In Mallika’s room, both women have a confrontation where Nidhi tells Mallika that she knows that she is only pretending to be ill to snatch her husband from her. Now, the game will be face-to-face. Nidhi challenges Mallika to stop her from exposing her. Mallika pretends innocence but Nidhi isn’t fooled even for a minute. Finally, Mallika drops her mask and tells Nidhi that she is an old player of the game she has just started playing, no one will believe her. She says some hurtful things to Nidhi but Nidhi’s strength doesn’t shake and neither does her confidence of bringing a ‘The End’ to Mallika’s stories. Nidhi leaves a furious Mallika in her room. Mallika vows that she will win this challenge.

There is obvious animosity between AshNi in their room. Ashu is still shocked that Nidhi can’t do something like this and blames her for being jealous of Mallika. Nidhi finds it useless to explain to Ashu anything right now as he will not believe her, she will have to keep up her act. Ashu pretends to go off to sleep and Nidhi looks at him hurt and angry. Nidhi goes and lies on the couch. Both look sad, upset and angry.

Next morning, Mallika comes to the hall where Baba, Ashu and Nidhi are already present. Baba asks Nidhi to say whatever she wishes. Nidhi says she hopes everyone has forgiven her for her mistake, specially Mallika. Mallika looks at her suspiciously. Nidhi says she realised just today how serious Mallika’s illness is and she wants to repent for her actions. Mallika wonders what Nidhi is about to do. Baba is happy and wants everyone to live peacefully. Ashu also appreciates that she understands about Mallika though he still seems cold. Nidhi announces that she will take care of Mallika now and even sleep in her room to look after her. Ashu finally seems pleased with Nidhi while Mallika is horrified.

Baba praises Nidhi for her repentance. Mallika says that she is fine and there is no need for anything like this but Nidhi insists on it. She pleads Ashu not to feel bad if she neglects him a bit while looking after Mallika and she wants to singlehandedly look after her so that no one even needs to come near her. No one seems to mind except Mallika herself

Precap: Mallika tells Baba and Ashu that Mallika’s health has taken a turn for the worse. In such a scenario, electric shock is the only option left. Mallika overhears this.
