Recently CID team got a taste of their international popularity when they were shooting for a special Makar Sankranti episode in Ahmedabad. The special episode will feature a murder mystery woven around the backdrop of the famous International Kite flying festival in Ahmedabad.

The International Kite flying festival which has always attracted millions of tourist in its celebration, gave a die heart crazy fan to get up and close with his favorite cops. It was heard that the fan got a pass by news about CID’s existence and in no time he arrived at the set where CID team were shooting. The fan craziness reached another height when he waited for long hours just to have a click with his favorite cops.

Well, it seems being the longest running show has created a magic beyond one’s imagination.
