Diya Aur Baati Hum 10th September 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with RK searching furiously for the pen-drive and not getting it. He searches here, there, everywhere, behind the cushion, and underneath sofa, everywhere.

Sandhya suddenly enters to take some photos, and RK hides behind a sofa, Sandhya miss seeing RK and goes to take photo from drawer. RK is surreptitiously seeing her and Sandhya was just going away when she stopped to think if she is forgetting anything.

Later goes away, and RK starts searching again.

At police station, police asks details, and asks for a mobile number, Suraj goes to give his number, but he can’t remember, and neither anyone from the family remembers that. Sandhya returns and shoots off the number, says Suraj has taken a new number so he has problems remembering it.

Policeman was telling a story, Sandhya seems disinterested and thinks about Chaturi, her suspicion goes stronger by the minute, she tries calling on that number from where Chaturi’s call came, but it says switched off.

Chotu comes to the sweet shop and asks RK to play gilli-danda with him. RK is not interested. But Brandon comes and shows his interest. Suraj translates the gilli-danda play and how to play to Brandon.

Meanwhile, Sandhya is really suspicious and it seems she is not sweeping the floor, thinks hard about what has happened to Chaturi.

Bhabo sweeps on behalf of Sandhya after admonishing her sweetly and she took the pen-drive along with other garbage and dumps it on the dustbin.

Brandon is playing Gilli-danda in the adjoining road and is not getting a hit on the gilli even once. Other boys starts laughing, but Chotu asks them to stop, says Brandon is playing for the 1st time and so let him try for the umpteenth time.

Bhabo after throwing away the garbage in the garbage can (dustbin), explains the pyrotechnics of gilli-danda to Brandon. Brandon finally makes a hit and is elated. Thanks Bhabo emphatically.

The gilli went to the dustbin, and Brandon, while trying to pick it up, picked up the gilli along with the pen-drive hanging from one of its end.

RK comes out of the shop on seeing that Brandon has managed to get the pen-drive and now he is before Brandon

Meanwhile Sandhya recollects Meenakshi’s words and has a look at Chaturi’s letter. She finds the stamp of Chaturi’s village missing in the envelope and suspects that Chaturi is in danger.

She comes out to enquire about that from RK, and while she was asking RK about that, Brandon says he got a pen-drive from the dustbin and gives the pen-drive to Sandhya. RK’s answer on Chaturi fails to satisfy Sandhya and she goes to Suraj to share her doubts. She suggests to file a missing diary for Chaturi. The pen-drive is in her hand.

RK is very much worried now as he thinks that all his efforts would now go down the drain if police manages to have a hand on the pen-drive.

Sandhya says Chaturi went away from the house 2 days before they returned from Singapore, but that date is not there on the envelope. There is a mismatch of date as well. Suraj agrees with her and they thinks of going to the police station. Suraj thinks of telling the family members about it but Sandhya went against his decision, saying everyone will be worried, so they plan to tell everyone only after they return from the police station.

RK is very much worried now as he thinks that all his efforts would now go down the drain if police manages to have a hand on the pen-drive. He says he has to do something before his plan gets leaked to the police.

Precap–> The police recorded the diary and was giving Sandhya a printout, when the printer malfunctions. Sandhya says she has a pen-drive with her and the police can give her a soft copy. RK is present at the police station and anticipates trouble.
