Double dhammal for Qubool Hai…becomes #1 show on Zee and completes 100 episodes

Karan Singh Grover ‘magic’ seems to be working once again. And this time it is for Zee TV’s Qubool Hai (4 Lions Films).

Yes, this will be called magic as Qubool Hai has become the number one fiction show on Zee TV in week 10 of TAM ratings that appeared on 14 March 2013.

Shakuntalam Telefilms’ Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke had managed to be the number one fiction show on Zee for a few weeks now. However, Qubool Hai managed to climb the TRP charts with 3.4 TVR in week 10 which pushed Sapne Suhane … in the second position with 3.1 TVR.

The ratings in week 10 were exactly opposite of what these shows had received in week 9. Then, Qubool Hai bagged 3.1 TVR and Sapne Suhane was at 3.8 TVR. But things changed one week later. Anyways, it is a win-win situation for Zee TV.

In fact, it is indeed double whammy for the makers of Qubool Hai, as it also completed 100 episodes last night (15 March 2013).

When we contacted producer Gul Khan she said, “It’s too early to comment anything about it right now. It’s just the first week when we have managed to be number one. But, I am very happy.”

When asked if there will be some major twists and turns in the story to keep up the numbers she promptly replied, “We have been going according to the planned storyline. Therefore, there will be no changes.”

Talking about having completed 100 episodes she said, “Yes, we did have a 100 episode completion party yesterday.”

Way to go Qubool Hai!!!
