A lady asks Meera about Ram ji’s second marriage. Meera shares that she and Puranjan tried to convince him but he got upset. We will try to convince him. Another lady says that girl is my relative. Shall I call her to Satara? Meera agrees. I want someone to handle this house.

Champa brings tea for Ram ji. He does not accept it. She says I brought it as you don’t eat lunch. He continues writing something which intrigues her. He shares that he is making a note of the expenses. I don’t want to miss anything. It is good if kids can have everything on time. It will be better to write this down. I have to look after everyone. She asks him to have tea again. He tells her not to sit here. What will people think? She places her hand on his knee while talking. He looks at her and she withdraws her hand. Think from a woman’s viewpoint. I think those men are best who look after everyone. We must not care about what others think. He finally accepts the tea from her and takes a sip.

Mangesh says we first thought it will be fun when Ram ji’s boss will fire him but it was more fun when Champa got him his job back. They have become friendlier.

Champa advises Ram ji to get married again. He denies. Let’s not discuss this topic again. She agrees.

Maharaj says I trust her completely. He notices Bhima walking from there with a smile on his face. Everyone follows his gaze. Pundit ji says seems like they are getting over their loss. We must do something. Maharaj tells him to have patience. It is painful to live without Aayi but it is all the more painful to live with a step mother.

Champa says you wouldn’t have to divide your time like this if you marry again. Your kids will also get a family. Any woman would be willing to marry you after knowing you. I wont raise this topic again though. She excuses herself.

Maharaj says let Champa become Bhima’s second Aayi. He will be in pain and he will give up his studies. Dhansukhlal seconds him. Bhima keeps saying that he will write a book when he will grow up. That will be his biggest defeat. Maharaj assures him it will come true. Go and make Ram ji and his family realise that a house is incomplete and disoriented without a woman. They agree.

Bhima and Anand are massaging Meera’s feet. She tells them to let it be. It will cause you pain too. Anand says Vaid ji said that this will help you. Dhansukhlal, Mangesh and Pundit ji intentionally taunt Sakpal family members on the condition of their house. Everything is so messy right now. Bhima says we will do it. Please leave. Mangesh says the best thing in this life is to see you guys in pain. Ram ji says their father is still alive. We will manage it. Pundit ji says you are a man. How will you be their mother? Mangesh says there is no chance here. who will marry him after all? They leave.

Ram ji finds out the schedule of the kids and tells them to do exactly what you used to do when your aayi was here. I don’t want anyone to mock us. No one should say that a father forced his kids to work when their mother left them. I hope you will help me fulfil my duties as a father. Bhima asks Anand to come. We will go and play. Tulsa and Manjula resume their studies. We will come back to help Baba in the kitchen when it’s time. Meera asks her brother if she can help him. He smiles. Would Bhimbai let you work if she was alive? I know the answer is no. You can help me when you recover completely. She feels sad for her brother.

Ram ji starts cleaning the house and washes utensils. Meera is pained to see him thus. At night, Ram ji is cooking. Manjula and Tulsa help him. Bala offers to blow the coal but Ram ji says I will do it. Everyone’s life cycle will continue in the same manner like today. Meera takes a bite but stops. Kids take a bite and go quiet as well. They look at each other silently. Ram ji takes a bite and starts coughing. Bala gives him water. I added a lot of chilli. I will make another vegetable. Bhima denies. We will eat it as it is. Ram ji says your health will worsen. Bala denies. Manjula adds that eating bitter and chilli things quickly can affect one less. Anand seconds his siblings. Meera tells her brother that just like he is a great father, they are his great kids. He becomes emotional as he watches his kids eat quietly. Bhima feeds him a bite too. Ram ji pats at his head sweetly.

Jijabai (the widow chosen by Puranjan) reaches Satara. Chandrakala and Puranjan greet Jijabai and her father. They tell her that Ram ji is not ready for remarriage yet but we will convince him slowly. Mangesh has seen everything and informs Maharaj. Dhansukhlal, Pundit ji and Champa about it.
