The episode begins with Vaibhav being brought his luggage. His sister in law was extremely deteriorated by his behavior towards his father like brother. She was upset with him, left cutting all ties with him.

Bhim Rao explained his decision in front of his family, said he had no choice. Jijabai questioned him. Bhim Rao had no choice but to support Vaibhav, it was for the first time an upper caste was accepting a lower caste as a friend in front of everyone. Lakshmi taunted Bhim Rao for his bravery. Jijabai inquired about Rama, meanwhile she came back from work. Meera informed who Vaibhav got to know about Bhim Rao helping him reach the hospital. He came to the neighborhood, asked for friendship and Bhim Rao accepted. Jijabai wanted Rama to questioned Bhim Rao. Rama supported Bhim Rao, said that they have won against the society. Lakshmi complaint. Rama said that her owner hugged her, said that Rama was like a daughter to her. She wanted to transfer half of her property to Rama. Lakshmi asked if she took it. Rama replied, she was Ramji’s daughter in – law and Bhim Rao’s wife. it was a sin for her think like that. Ramji was proud of Rama. Jijabai complaint to Ramji, none of his children obey him. She warned him about Bhim Rao. they heard a man calling Bhim Rao’s name, he went outside.

Vaibhav got the streetlamp fixed. He got to know the struggle behind getting the streetlamp here and his brother breaking it. He wanted to fix his brother’s mistake. The man lighted the lamp. Vaibhav invited Bhim Rao to study under it. Phuliya asked Bhim Rao to join.

Rama brought beverage as Vaibhav and Bhim Rao studied. They shared a laugh when Vaibhav discovered that Bhim Rao still drinks milk and not tea. Vaibhav appreciated Rama’s tea. They left them to study. Ramji observing them from a far recalled the time Dhruv was Bhim Rao’s friend in Sitara.

It was late night, Vaibhav decided to leave for now. Said that he would come tomorrow. Bhim Rao told that when this light was fixed here Rama started studying and now when it got fixed here again, he studied with a higher caste, not only studied but laughed, shared storied and enjoyed milk and tea under it. Bhim Rao would never forget this.

Varchand refused to forget that Bhim Rao took his brother from him.

Rama asked Bhim Rao for dinner. He was thinking about Dhruv, knew that he came to Bombay before him. Rama asked him to visit Sitara again. Bhim Rao refused, wont revisit until he makes something of himself only then would he go back to Sitara. Ramji came, asked Bhim Rao to be careful in making friends in Bombay, it wasn’t as big as Sitara. They don’t have enough space here for people like Dhruv. Rama explained that Bhim Rao didn’t force the friendship. Ramji was glad that a foreign educated citizen adored his son on basis of his education, but he feared it as well. Bhim Rao had no reason to break off. Ramji wasn’t asking him to break off but stand by it till the last. Bhim Rao promised.

Vaibhav came home. Varchand called him, he asked his men to disperse. He told Vaibhav that he was the only brother he ever cared for, the one who was bright in studies thus he sent him abroad for higher studies. He had high hopes from Vaibhav but instead he insulted everyone by installing lamp in lower caste’s society. Varchand’s wife called for dinner. Varchand forbid her from giving Vaibhav any food from their house.

Bhim Rao and Rama were bringing Vaibhav dinner. Rama was worried incase it provoked Varchand. Joshi along with his friend saw Bhim Rao and Rama.
