Scene 1
Pakhi gives mummy ji water and says everything has changed. There were times whene everyone used to celebrate my birthday now no one remembers it. Mummy ji higs her. Pakhi says do you remember it ? I thought no one does. Kamla comes and says how can i forget your birthday. Pakhi goes running to kamla and hugs her. Gauri comes there and asks kamla when did you come ? Kamla says just now. Kamla tells gauri that its Pakhi’s birthday. Gives her your prayers. Pakhi bows down but Gauri steps back. Kamla says she asked for your prayers and you stepped back ? Gauri says i can’t do it. Kaml says because deep down in your heart you know you are wrong. What pakhi’s parents did to you was wronf Pakhi knows that too. Don’t do this with her. She needs you. Gauri says no kamla she reminds me of my husband’s death. I recall the days when i was homeless. I can’t pardon her and accept her. Forgive me kamla. She leaves. kamla looks are Pakhi who is still in tears. Kamla says don’t be upset. She is a nice lady she will be fine with you. She is just a bit hurt she will accept you one day. She will get it one day that love is everything. A day will come when Rghav and tai will accept this relationship. Kamla says now lets go and cut the cake. Pakhi cuts the cake with Kamla. Pakhi says kamla maa can i come with you ? I wanna meet kalpi and apologize her. Its her birthdya too i wanna wish her for last time. Kamla says thats good, you can come with me. Kamla says to mummy ji i will send her back soon. Mummy ji nods.
Scene 2
Vitthal looks at the prayer place for money. Kamla comes in with pakhi. Everyone is dazed. Pakhi says won’t you sih me vitthal uncle ? Vitthal says happy birthday in a bit stern way. Pakiya says happy birthday and they both leave. Kalpi is n it looking at Pakhi. Pakhi comes to Kalpi and says happy birthday to you kalpi. I am sorry Kalpi. I never knew that Raghav loves you. I would never have done this. Kalpi says leave it its not your mistake. It was my fate. Kalpi leaves. Kamla comes there and says Kalpi needs some time to get over this but i know that she will come out of all this one day. A day will come when she will be so happy. Look its late you should go home. You ahve to fulfill your relation. I have all my trust in you Pakhi. I know you will be responsible. Pakhi hugs Kamla.
Scene 3
Nettu comes home with some shopping bags. She sneaks in to poki’s room. She can’t find her. She looks for her everywhere. She sees the AC’s remote and turns it on. She says oh it feels like heaven to be out of that chowl. She opens Pakhi’s closet and takes out a sari. She plans on wearing it and sleeps on the bed.
Gauri passes by the room and sees Nettu sleeping there. She wonders what is she doing there?
Gauri comes in the room in resentment. She takes the water glass and pours it on her. Nettu wakes up and says theif. Gauri says thats what i was saying theif. You are a theif who comes in other people’s house without permission. You came to your own daughter’s house to steal stuff. Even beggars stand out of the house you are even worse than them. Now get lost or i will call police. She throws nettu out. Nettu is angry and says i am helpless and can’t call police but i will take my revenge. She threw us out of our home and dcecived us.
Scene 4
Pakiya takes Kalpi downstairs with her eyes covered. She opens her eyes and its all decorated with ballons. All the people of chowl have gathered to wish kalpi. Kamla shows kalpi that everyone has made your favorite dishes but take my sweet first. manda says Kalpi i ahev made kulfa for you. Taste it and tell them that i have made the best dish. Kalpi says thank you so much everyone this is the best birthday. I will never forget this birthday. Everyone gifts her differebt things. Nettu comes and says guests are so tired and hosts are celebrating. She looks at the food to eat and says this is what they eat. Vitthal gets angry, Kamla stops her and says why should we ruin our happiness for her. Vitthal says look at her she has lost all her respect. She even stole the money from prayer place. Amazing. Everyone is laughing at the way nettu is eating.
Kalpi gets upset thinking about the time when Raghav proposed her at the poolside and she said yes. kamla looks at her. Sammy comes with a bouqet for kalpi and says Raghav is waiting for you at the temple. he still loves you a lot. He has decided that he will divorce pakhi. Kalpi is shocked. He says Raghav wanna rectify everything. He just wanna meet you once. He won’t leave until you don’t come to see him. Kamla is there too. Kalpi and sammy are dazed.
precap- Gauri says to Raghav kalpi is a nice girl and i like her too but you can’t marry her. You can’t divorce pakhi, she is the weakest person to take revenge from. Raghav says divorcing pakhi will be another step if their destruction..

Moreover, the situation with EMA has gotten so bad that it affects their TRP. No creator of any show would want to experiment with their TRP. If something is giving you success, you need to build on that and cannot force the public to accept something they dislike. Avoid things that could make your TRP go down. I love a good revenge story but EMA has disappointed me. Sometimes I wonder how the actors are affected by all of this. I hope none of them are taking fans reaction personally. I want to encourage them to keep acting. The problem with Indian writers and serial creators is they think every story must have a disastrous wedding or a ruined relationship or something of the sort. We all have watched so many non-Indian films and serials and shows and hardly are there such things has jilting girls at the altar and brides getting swapped. These non-Indian shows depend on logic and reality and good development of their theme to get a successful film or serial. They don’t depend on silly drama that plays on emotions and heartbreaks and tears and sad songs. Indian writers and filmmakers, sadly, cannot wean themselves from this pathetic way of telling a story.
Moreover their lack of details or rather their disregard for details is what kills most of these serials. Viewers look for details. How does our story move from point A to point A? How can a shrewd and wicked Sahil sign away his properties and not read what he is signing? After all these years as a businessman it seems he learnt nothing. And then there are the senseless parts. How does a lady suffering from 20 years of amnesia in the blink of an eye regain her full memory? How can a business tycoon get married and no one has seen a wedding invitation with the names of the bride and groom? This was so unrealistic that it annoyed viewers and turned some away. Again, your dislike for details and unrealistic plots.
TO THE ACTORS AND WRITERS of EMA: do you know why fans are so stuck on the love story between Raghav and Kalpi and want to see more of it though this is not your main plot? (And it is annoying you guys because fans are pressing for RAGNA). It is because you spent lots of time filling in all the details in showing your audience how their love developed and grew. The audience grew with that love story and understood the two characters as you spent nearly 3 months or more DEVELOPING that love story. It was so beautiful. Then you lack details in that in one day, just one day, you destroyed what you took months to build and it confused and shocked the audience. That’s why fans reacted. Unlike the development of the love story, you didn’t walk your audience through the series of events of what happened next between two characters or within a sub-plot to bring about a certain outcome. If you had done this the audience may have understood and there would have been no animosity between fans and EMA creators.
For example, if you had shown lots of scenes between Raghav and his mother that would be gone down well with the audience. Perhaps several scenes could have been dedicated to showing how Raghav helps his mum to regain her memory (visits to the doctor, the discovery of harmful drugs in her system, showing her family pictures, reminiscing the past, showing her photos of different people like the Kapoors, etc) and this would have gone down nicely with the audience. But you did it in a fraction of a second that stunned the audience. Even if Raghav didn’t want to pursue the wedding just yet because he found his mother, the audience would have understood that. You could have shown scenes of what transpired between Rahgav and Kalpi and him talking to her about postponing the wedding until a later date. Show bonding between an amnesia Gauri and future daughter-in-law Kalpi. Spend time showing the audience scenes of Raghav alone and what is going on him his mind concerning his revenge and how he is plotting it. But no. The writers did nothing of this sort because they could not think outside the box and settled for the usual annoying and disgusting drama found in other serials.
In many foreign serials, writers spend lots of time thinking, researching, analysing and writing their scripts and story because they want it to succeed. They even do polls to solicit viewers’ reaction to different circumstances and outcome just to determine if and how to present a situation to have a good effect and bring more success to the serial. All of this done for the sake of creating a successful show. They put a lot into the development of their story– and it shows.
I trust that the writers and creators of EMA can read these comments on Desitvbox and use them to help their script become better and make the show a great success. They need to spend time on details and showing those details on screen as they did over the many months they spent on developing that beautiful story between Raghav and Kalpi. That way every actor gets their fair share of screen time and appearances and to showcase their acting skills. Take your time and develop your story. There is no need to rush the story. Taking your time doesn’t mean dragging, by the way. I really hope EMA can relook and tighten their script to get the show back on track. It will reduce fans’ animosity and anxiety and we can enjoy EMA. And bring peace between viewers and creators of EMA. We really want the show to success. But please, tighten it up and strengthen it. There is still time to do this.

Where is these writers taking us…wearing mangalsutra is a significant of honoring one marriage not disobeying your life partner or do things to displeased them. A husband n wife should live in love,PEACE n harmony …Kamla SHOW raghav the mangalsutra..DID she ask herself if she is living up to the expectations of vithal. Until now ALL she is DOING is THINGS THAT got him angry. She is not the perfect wife she proclaimed to be.

I guess somebody just felt threatened that the supposedly main lead of the serial has already been sideline by the viewers and bcoz of raghav and kalpi’s popularity has surpassed kamla. Get a hint . I wonder if these serial writers are not aware of the public’s like and dislikes. It is the writers who mess up these stories that causes fans react wildly and perhaps overstep it with the actors, who really are innocent in all of this. I think EMA writers in bringing in outlandish developments from other serials into EMA are really the cause for all that is happening right now. It was not necessary for the writers to break up the wedding between Raghav and Kalpi to outrage fans. A good revenge story could have been developed without what they did on 9 May. They could have had a very powerful revenge plot plus a wedding. And every actor could have had his/her time to shine in the serial through different roles. The love story between Raghav and Kalpi could have done nicely and then quietly taken a back seat to allow the revenge theme to take the centre stage. But in jeopardising that love story it made the secondary theme come to the front while the main theme is getting cold at the back. Fans began to call for the love story and it is affecting the script. It is the writers who messed up for doing what every serial is doing. And that is because the creators themselves forgot that EMA was supposed to be a different serial. They just jumped on the bandwagon like the other serials. They shot EMA.
The writers only broke up the marriage because this is happening in every other serial and they too want to have that in EMA. It tells me that writers cannot think outside the box. So many ways could have been devised to bring out a strong revenge plot but the writers messed up and they messed up some very strong characters in the show. Which all the more outraged fans.
I really want EMA to continue and be successful but I really wished EMA’s creators can tighten their script and set this story straight and let us move on. There are too many confusion and double-standards within the story and the bad thing any writer can do is to confuse his public. Once you confuse your public and cannot justify the supporting elements of the story, your story is as good as dead. Please writers and creators of EMA, I don’t want to see the show fail. I don’t like to hear that actors feel bad because they get a bashing from fans for the storyline of EMA. They are all terrific people. But yet they will be affected by fans reaction if that reaction gets personal. I would like to encourage Zee and EMA creators to straighten out their storyline and strengthen their characters. They need to correct their mistake of affecting that relationship between Raghav and Kalpi (which in the viewers mind was senseless) and then move on with their storyline. For if this conflict continues to exist between fans and EMA creators, it will not auger well for the future in the show. I am just worried about it.

I wasn’t’ interested in EMA until Ashish came in. For me personally I don’t like Indian serials because they are too emotional, unrealistic, pathetic, and always makes a mockery of sacred institutions like marrying, too much conniving going on, too many bride swapping and lovers getting separated, too many family interfering in situations and exerting pressure on others and worsening situations, too many females with nasty mother-in-laws, too many guys listening to their mothers and ill-treating their wives, too many people misunderstandings the good guys, the good guys always lose, too many misunderstandings in general and the list can go on and on.
I like EMA and like its theme of revenge. I have complete respect for all the actors and the roles they play in EMA. When I make a comment here, it is not intended for any actor of the show. These comments are restricted to the characters in the show. You like them or hate them for whatever reason, but comments are intended for characters and not actors. Like I hate Kamla so much in this show, but I like and respect Shilpa the actress who plays the role. I know she is a good actress. Ashish is good and the veteran and newcomers serial actors are good too. From what I see with the conflict playing out between fans and EMA’s creators and actors, I think some actors may be taking things too personally. If criticisms are intended for the characters then they shouldn’t be upset. It is the characters in the serial and not them in real life. But if fans get personal with actors, then I would say that fans have crossed the line. I do know that the actors are paid to follow a script and most of the times they do not control the storyline. They just act. I think fans should draw the line and separate character from real person. It is uncivil to attack and criticise the actors. So to all the actors of EMA, I think everyone on Desitvbox loves you and respects you and your vocation. I don’t wish for any actor on EMA to feel discouraged because of fans reaction. I want them to excel in what they do on the show. For some actors this serial is a return to the industry for them and for others it is an opportunity to move on to bigger projects. I want them to be successful in their personal pursuits.
That aside, my issue with EMA is I hate very much that the creators have jumped on the same bandwagon as all other serials in how they develop their main story. EMA creators say that EMA is different. For me, the only difference is the central theme: revenge. As it is not a story about mother-in-laws and daughters-in-laws (hate those) and it is not centrally a love story. (For the records I hate most of Shah Rukh Khan’s lovey-dovey movies) I do love romance and love stories but I equally love other genres. But yet, EMA is exactly like the other serials in that everything that it develops to support its main theme is exactly like the other serials. Hence my upset with show. For me, it took a very bad turn when the writers made Raghav marry Paaki instead of his love, Kalpi. Ideally, if they could have justified that then I might have understood but to date, the creators of EMA have failed to justify that. So it tells me that is just another separation for lovers for the sake of drama which outraged viewers for several reasons, mostly: the viewing public does not have an appetite for these mockeries of love, relationship and marriages; that the viewers have been trapped emotionally by creators of these serials who uses characters to appeal to them and then the creators destroy the characters thus making viewers “suckers” as they say, and fans no longer like this; that creators are giving the viewing public too many weak, unrealistic plots that really causes outrage.

I just hope raghav stand strong by his decision and divorces pakhi because I dont believe by gauri’s words that pakhi is their weak point but thats wrong kapoors weak point is their money, power and name and I think raghav Is much capable of destroying all that of kapoors alone he doesn’t need to keep pakhi for doing that.

Raghav sent a message to kalpi THAT he wants to reach her n further state he will jump over the cliff if she don’t go putting her in a predicament… HE have the confidentiality within himself that kalpi still unconditionally love him regardless of what he did to her….He sent the message without consulting his mum now that his mum is aware ABOUT HIS plans of divorcing pakhi n get in togetherness wit kalpi she is objecting. Gouri wasn’t there to gave raghav her motherly love n affection why is it SHE is so controlling NOW. Wants everything to done by raghav to avenge her husband death n not paying no attention for raghav getting some happiness. Why is she so dominating n controlling ……It was a struggle for raghav to get to his adult life when he found LOVE n happiness it was temporary because of gouri anger n thirst n desire
to avenge her husband brutal death so the selfishness in her DIDN’T allow raghav to move on the revenge is her world n n according to her laid out plans raghav should act upon that despised knowing he LOVE kalpi. So he CAN’T do anything of his choices. He US dominated by gouri n her unfinished business..
What will be kamla reaction after listening to Sammy. She made kalpi took swear she wouldn’t meet raghav n kalpi must forget raghav. Can kalpi really forget raghav. Or she is forcing kalpi to add more to her grievances so pakhi can get happiness….. I think on every occasion for kalpi kamla is making it miserable. On kalpi engagement kamla humiliated kalpi by slapping n condemning her love for raghav. On her birthday she brought pakhi to add further pain to Kalpi. Honestly I think pakhi is either pretending or was living in illusion not observing that love was visible between kalpi n Raghav. How can SHE not observed when kalpi went for the file n the door was locked. When she went n look for raghav kalpi was holding on tightly on him. She cried n runaway then when they had the party n he confesses his LOVE for kalpi openly. N when she was presented there ragh ignored her then another when she was thinking why kalpi Raghav went out while she was sitting in office. So those were signs to acknowledge that raghav love kalpi unless she had wanted to prove that the rich can marry only rich. Or if she was playing dumb to all the happening between raghav n kalpi.
Then kamla undivided attention to Kalpi. All the mother’s of this series is self center only aiming to fulfil their own selfish aims n desires without thinking who is getting hurt in the PROCESS. They r not thinking about their children’s happiness. They r not making any attempt to cooperate with their children’s point of views…they r not DOING anything that can make valid contribution to their children’s happiness. All they r focussed on is achieving what their heart desired despised every other thing. Their actions r causing their children’s unhappiness..how WILL raghav able to convinced gouri……how will kalpi able to convinced kamla that she wants to meet raghav. I just can’t think where is the storyline heading.
I think pani was right it need another male character to make raghav feel challenge. To uplift kalpi spirits from sadness. To encourage n motivate her. This series is going around in circles. The act of kindness is not considered at all only REVENGE n revenge I know it’s based on that but everyone life I’d getting miserable n heart breakdowns r happening. NOTHING substantial is happening n the tug of war WILL continue coz neetu is all bent to get BACK her LOST treasure. It’s sad to see how none is happy just because of gouri instigating raghav to avenge all the bad that had happened to him het n HIS dad……one person words is so powerful that it caused so much unhappiness…..even the innocent was punished. VERY confusing.

May 27, 21:02Hi everyone who comments on this website. I want to ask you guys a question. What do you think about the current fiasco with EMA and viewers? I have been checking out other sites for the sake of curiosity and there seems to be heated clashes between some of EMA actors/creative and viewers. It seems as though some of the actors of EMA are upset with fans for loving Raghav and Kalpi and wanting to see these two reunited. And from what I see, there are some nasty exchanges. The question is: why do you think fans are so heated over what EMA portrayed in the wedding disaster? And do you think that fans are wrong to call on EMA to reunite Raghav and Kalpi? Will share my views after getting yours. I ask because I am a little puzzled at the devleopment on Twitter between fans and actors and EMA creatives. Quite honestly I am new to Indian serials. Have never seen one from beginning to end. Not interested in them and after EMA I don’t think will ever be interested in anyone as really serials are not my thing. I’ve never before commented on any serial except EMA. So I don’t know much about fan mentality when it comes to Indian serial. Would be grateful for your insight into this.

May 27, 21:30It quite normal for fans to react vociferously towards changes that they do not like on these serials . However , it’s also quite normal for the production houses to ignore those fans . Only once have I heard of an instance where the PH considered the fans opinion and ended a show , rather than carrying it on with a new lead . I think though , that the production , does only what it regards to be in its own best interest , regardless of fan base opinion .
The production houses sign contracts with Zee TV to fill a time slot . If the TRPs are low , Zee would demand changes to suit their needs . In all the advertisers pay for time on a serial and I gather that the more popular the show , then the more money it makes through advertisement .
I’ll tell you something though , most of these shows are experiencing something of a lull at present . The IPL cricket league is generating immense interest in India . The creatives either try harder to attract viewers , or resort to sideline non major tracks to wait till the IPL ends .

I would quickly read what is the written update sometimes don’t watch the show n gone straight into reading you guys comments.
I had been wAtching these SERIALs for quite sometime starting with kasme seh. It was with rich n poor n LOVE storywhich DIDN’T materialize. The few I watched Until now I never saw a love story concluded with a happy marriage…..ALL have heart break,unexpected events to cause unhappiness. It leave me with the conclusion that’s a trend with these indian soap.
Their writer n director don’t have vision n is not creating anything BETTER than heart break ,unhappiNess,disappointment n u name the negativity if Thornburg have it all lol.
This one was going a little different but has ended up with the same heart break n disappointment n u KNOW why VIEWERS get annoyed because the
Majority had LOVE the bonding between raghav n kalpi n was all happy to see their wedding when the production team disappointed us. So I guess that’s why they have the bitter exchange of WORDS n views. Many was happy that THIS was a UNIQUE show in comparison with the rest unfortunately it didn’t turn out the way we expected so VIEWERS vent their anger n frustration…but I think th production team should take it as advices n good communication fir them yo improved in their scripts. They should be appreciative of viewers comments. But I guess some write with anger ,some probably condemned n evaluate their team as weak n some . May give scarcatics remarks to make them offended lol n while others may just bring out some important points for them to tighten up. They have to realized that our viewers give the recommendations of marking their SHOW a success.
PAIGE, my dear I thought this was a UNIQUE show but it ended up with some of the scenarios like the others,taking away it uniqueness n disappointing their viewers. Wish they do something to get back the interest of the viewers.

Interesting views there. Now I understand what goes on with the production houses and networks. I was just a bit worried about overt reaction of fans that could cause hurt to others. See, I’m reading all these things from the other websites about fans lashing out at actors and actors lashing back at fans and I’m like “oh dear…is this normal? Is this suppose to happen?” I was truly worried. And felt bad. I mean what I see in the serial upsets me and i comment on the characters and what they do. This i know is normal in critiquing and analysing, etc. I just hope the actors see it that way. It’s not personal.

Kamla makes my blood boil! Did you hear her? She tells Paaki that the others will forget their revenge and accept her because in the end LOVE matters and it is what is important. I’m sorry, and what is that that exist between Kalpi and Raghav? Isn’t that love? Two people who deeply love each other? And which she is against? I was so upset watching her speak. It was equally upsetting to hear her say “How can your mother forget your birthday?” By mother she was referring to herself. Paaki has her own biological mother with whom she needs to build a relationship. Kamla has overstepped her boundaries by making herself the mother of a girl who has her biological mother and who is disrespectful to her biological mother. Why isn’t Kamla putting sense into Paaki to change her attitude towards Neetu? As bad as Neetu is, Neetu still considers her her daughter and loves her and supports her. Kamla needs to bow out of the Kapoors’ life and stop meddling in another family’s personal matters. Why does she feel it is her duty to control everyone and circumstances and settle everything? That is God’s job. And God is not on vacation.
And WHAT IS WRONG WITH KAMLA? OMG!!! She took Paaki home to meet Kalpi? Is she insane? That girl was just hurt by the wedding situation and here comes Paaki whose very presence will hurt that poor girl more. Kamla has no sense or sensitivity when it matters. I am just lost for words at this outrageous attitude of Kamla. Why does this woman constantly disregard other people’s feelings and tramples on them for Paaki’s happiness? No person in their right mind would bring another woman to meet a girl hurt as Kalpi was hurt. That is just cruel.
I do not feel sorry for Paaki. She told Kalpi that had she known about her and Raghav love then she won’t have come between them. Liar! Liar! Well, she knows now and what does she do? She doesn’t consider Kalpi’s feeling. No she is busy declaring her love for Raghav and wanting to win him over. That is contradictory to what she is telling Kalpi. For she does nothing about the situation. And Kamla is busy encouraging Paaki to win Raghav. I can’t tell a woman to her face that “if I knew this guy and you love each other I would never come between you” and know to myself that I am busy trying different strategies to win him for myself. The guilt that would come over me would kill me.
THEN, Kamla lectures Gauri to forget her past and let everything be good and accept Paaki. There she goes for the umpteen time forcing people to do what she wants. Again she disregards others feelings. She lectures Gauri to forget her own pain and suffering and consider Paaki’s pain and suffering. Has anyone ever heard Kamla give full consideration to someone else’s pain? It is always about Paaki as if no one else has pain. She wants Gauri to forgive and accept Paaki! Hey Kamla: forgive Raghav and accept him! Would that work?
Kamla is forcing everyone to do things her way and to move along. She forced Kalpi to swear by her never to meet Raghav, etc and now forces this girl to see Paaki as a wedded woman and to meet her. God is still in charge Kamla, not you. Let time run its course. I refuse to feel sorry for Paaki as I see this same self-centred girl throughout this entire situation. She is grieving for her birthday in the past; her lavish, extravagant birthday bashes. There are lots of people who never even saw a birthday cake yet and whose birthday comes and goes quietly. Real world for you. It wasn’t the end of the world. Why is that an issue? But I guess for self-centred people who are accustomed to pomp and scene always, forgetting a birthday is the greatest inhumane crime. I can’t fall for something as frivolous as that.
Ohhhh…Sammy, what a dear you are. I just love how you came in and was slyly looking around as you gave the message. I smiled at that. Hey Sweety, you said a few days ago that Sammy posted a selfie and wrote under it: Mission accomplished. Tonight you got your answer. The mission accomplished was him taking Raghav’s message to Kalpi. In the selfie he had on the same clothes (only without the jacket) as he had on tonight to deliver the message.

Oh and look at the audacity of Neetu, first of all stealing from the people who took her in, then sneaking into someone else”s home, when caught she griping about them taking away her home???? and in the same breath she saying she killed the lady husband, then in the same breath she saying she will take her revenge????, so isn’t it revenge what this lady is taking from the Kapoors for killing her husband, taking their business, trying to kill her, leaving their son to live like an orphan, taking away an innocent child parents from him
And Neetu has the gall to still wish she could take the police help, but she herself is a big murderer.

She needs to be more exposed to the real world and Kamla will help if she butts out. In the same way she wanted Kalpi to be a strong swimmer when the poor child was growing, why can’t she now let Paaki become a better person by facing the situation she is in and coming out stronger from it? Same princple. But again, it highlights the nepotism of Kamla. For she doesn’t want Paaki to experience the hurts of real life but was willing, I can say, for her daughter to drown in her own situation. Contradictory Kamla.
And I guess Kalpi needs to begin to do the same thing now and I say this in light of that awkward meeting that Kamla forced upon her with Paaki tonight. Man, why would you bring Paaki to meet Kalpi at a time like this? And yes…I felt the same things about Neetu. What an audacious woman. I too really hope that Kamla did not hear what Sammy said to Kalpi. As I watched it I was “I hope the wind was circulating in her ears and she couldn’t hear a word!” I believe in miracles happening when you need them. ANd the blocking of Kamla’s ears is one I need right now. I noticed Sammy was slyly looking around as he speaks to ensure the message is secret. So let’s hope Kamla didn’t heard.

May 27, 19:04Paige exactly below AR comment, i agree with you especially the scene with Raghav and Kalpi in the park, OMG I almost swooned when he just spontaneously laid down on her lap, it was not done after lots of thought, it did not look false or acting, it was just so natural, also when he ate from the same icecream that Kalpi had eaten from.
Also that scene when he and Sammy both held their ears to apologise to Kalpi, it was so natural and cute, how can any one say that there’s no chemistry, there’re so many other scenes, like in the office when he looking for her, stealing glances her way etc.
I remember my days before we started to court my husband would look at me, well actually stare, and when I turn his way he would turn his head, lol, 😀

May 27, 14:54From the day Rhagav married Pakhi, they should have introduced a new male character in order to show that there is life after love. They should get someone like Kalpi who was from a humble background and climbed to the top and possibly assist her some way.
I dont want Ragna to unite right now but instead I want the Cvs to show that romance and marriage doesnt define a woman;s place/value in today’s society. Kalpi we can identify with is what represent most of us young ladies. She fell in love and became broken-hearted by events that were out of her control. She’s independent intelligent and genuine to the bone. I dont want to see Kalpi trying to commit suicide or loose herself because prince charming turned out to be a villain.
Yes Kalpi cry there’s no shame in that but I want to see Kalpi take herself out of this depression and keep on fighting for her dreams. Kalpi needs to fight for herself and not for the heavy burden of Kamla’s emotions or her brother’s worthlessness as a son and her father;s submission to his wife. Yes Pakiya is a good brother but why isnt he employed? He’s like a younger version of Vittal letting the wife step over some marital boundaries and wearing the pants instead of the skirt. I have yet to see Pakiya attempt to get a job. I mean it would be nice of we saw Kalpi support her brother more rather than him staying home eating and being merry. For this I blame Kamla and Vitthal. Kamla pushes her adopted daughter to reach the entire sky full of stars while she tells her children that they can only pick certain stars in the sky.
I like Gauri up to a point. I understand her point of view yet at the same time I’m against it. Gauri right now is bitter and cant think reasonably. But when certain things fall into place she will begin to see her own mistakes and will help Rhagav to correct his. Gauri is being real she isnt like St. Kamla but her manipulations are the same as hers but not as extreme as Kamla.
Rhagav SCREWED UP! Yes he protected the honour of his family while sacrificing his love. He was in a difficult decision either to be a dutiful son or a protective lover and thus he chose what he at that time felt was right. He now realised he chose the wrong decision and is trying to rectify it but what buggles me is how he’s doing it. To me he didnt trust the love he had for Kalpi enough to tell her first before going anything instead he humiliated her and entire family and hurt the people who genuinely loved him.
And for the precap if he thinks sindoor will make Kalpi his wife he is so wrong. And to use the divorce of Pakhi to hurt nettu is even crazier. I can see Nettu falling from grace as she sees her ex-son in law marrying her ex-maid’s daughter.
For Pakhi, Kamla would rather kill Pakhi herself than to Pakhi divorce, an anullment looks better. I can even bet Kamla and Nettu will scheme up things and maipulate Pakhi to stay married to Rhagav than Kalpi marrying him. I hope Pakhi is also learning from these event and will mature into a person who thinks for herself her happiness and her life. I also hope this goes for Kalpi too as she needs a break from this flying circus

One day a group of religious people tried to help her change and invited her to turn her life around and attend a place of worship. This unfortunate woman asked a question that I will never forget. She asked: “If I go to your place of worship and start life over, will your society and people allow me to forget my past?” The religious people were ashamed to answer that question because they knew the answer. The answer is “No”. Society and its people would not let that woman forget her past even though she wants to forget it and start life a fresh. (This is a real story). I see this every day in society. We often fail to see what happens to a man and the turmoil within. And he cries for help and a chance to start again. And society doesn’t give him.
That is why I say all I say about Raghav. That is why I won’t bash him or even use his past against him. He was one way with certain thinking and he is changing. That’s something to commend, not to condemn or to hold against him from ever being forgiven, reconciled to others and restored.

May 27, 13:31Raghav has been planning revenge all of his adult life (±14years), he’s in love for about a few months now. He sacrificed love for revenge but it was a bitter victory. He knew from the start that what he gave up meant much more to him than anything else in his life but he did what he thought he had to do, what his late father would expect of him, what is mother wanted. Sons are expected to avenge their families dishonour, for his own peace of mind to he had to make everything right for his family.
Love, that small word with the big punch, knocked the air right out of him. He lost some of the passion for revenge, love started to take over. He knows that he can’t give up his love for it is worth far more to him. He is prepared to end his “revenge” marriage and bear the financial losses. Will love win or will interfering mothers ruin their childrens lives for their own pride.
To be a strong, successful woman you don’t need a man to validate. Women are powerful beings and they can do anything they set their minds to. Then again, love is not such a weak emotion that you can just toss it aside. What about these famous words,”for your precious love I can climb the highest mountain or swim the deepest sea”. I doubt anyones really gonna do that but the meaning is clear, you can go to great lengths for the sake of your love.
Kalpi – if she loves Raghav she’ll cut him some slack. She’ll feel his pain as much as he feels hers.
Paakhi – if she loves Raghav as much as she claims she should let him go. If he’s really meant for her he’ll come back.

For once, this serial is opening my eyes to how destructive it can be when we try to live the lives others carve for us, rather than living our own lives. And how destructive others are in pushing their own agendas and us to be their instrument. Kamla is using Kalpi as means to making someone else happy. Gauri is using Raghav as a means to making herself happy. And poor Raghav and Kalpi are the most miserable ones being twisted and turned by the tides of everyone coming up to shore. When you look at it one mother is an illiterate/uneducated peron, a kind of a saint, yet she is destroying her daughter’s life. The other mother is a sophisticated woman that is educated and cultured and yet is destroying her own son’s life. And Neetu, an evil mother who wants use her daugther to gain more wealth.
Pheonix was so, so right. Raghav and Kalpi are the biggest obstacles to their own love. They need to set themselves free from their destructive familial influences and build their own lives together. So I support Raghav and Kalpi marriage however it comes, and these two need to battle their family and life, together. There is strength in unity. And with the correct partner there by your side, you can conquer anything life throws at you.

I like the revenge idea. That is why I totally understood everything Raghav has done to date, And I support him fully on this actions. I didn’t agree with the jilting part but we have moved way pass that and now he is taking remedial steps.
I want the reunion of Raghav and Kalpi to complete this wonderful love story but I am ENCOURAGING the writers to continue with the revenge. But I need to see this revenge stronger.
So again, on the revenge theme, I can’t bash Gauri too much as she has to see that revenge takes place. But what I hope Gauri sees, is the devastating effects this will have on her son. And she needs to weigh the cost. But aside from that, I do want to see the revenge take full course. Raghav has to put the Kapoors in place. It must be done.

May 27, 11:44Keep watching EMA. Keep watching. On the contrary, it is becoming more and more interesting! Examine the plot carefully and you will see how interesting the story is becoming. So far, in light of what Raghav is going to do to correct his mistakes, EMA is coming along well. IN ALL FAIRNESS TO THE WRITERS THIS TIME, the story is picking up and going WELL.
Please look at EMA. Don’t give up. I think the writers know what they are doing. And for once I support them. The story will be very boring if Raghav and Kalpi just come together – just like that. Guari’s oppostion is not so much an opposition as it is a misguided agenda. her position now brings in a new twist in the story. And I have to commend the writers for this. This is a good move in good story-telling.
I am happy that Raghav is taking the right decision to marry Kalpi. Vey happy and that encourages me as viewer. Now I need to be fair to the writers and give them their space to develop how that plays out and becomes a reality.
Come guys…let us look at the EMA. It is a superb show. I love it and it is by FAR the MOST INTERESTING SHOW.

This character has to change as she too is a woman with a mission. So EMA is moving along very well in my books. Now I want to see how Raghav and Kapli both deal with their respective mothers. The ball is in Raghav and Kapli’s court, if you ask me. Only Raghav and Kapli knows each other far more than their mothers do. I think these two DO NEED EACH OTHER at this very moment.

U know yesterday u wrote about kamla reaction to kalpi n her answer for not showing kalpi raghav letter. Where kamla probably assume once a person do something wrong their actions can ALWAYS be repeated. Neetu is an example of such when I read your comment n saw neetu actions of stealing the money FROM near the Lord Ganesh idol I had to smile. Because neetu will not changed she will do anything to regain get lost valuables she is conscious that’s wrong to steal n yet she took the people hard earned money n went ….. KAMLA should notice those act of Neetu n LEAVE kalpi to make her decision. She is already intervening UN pakhi life n it’s NOT getting any BETTER. So she should stop being too much of a controlling mother to Kalpi. I don’t think her advices to kalpi is meaningful. I CAN’T understand she is portraying a double character towards o be person. She US giving Kalpi a negative perception of raghav n on the other hand SHE is encouraging pakhi to stay on with the same individual. Amazing kamla.

It will be very challenging for raghav. N the DRAMA going on among the group WILL dissolved slowly.( MEANING KAMLA,KALPI,RAGHAV,GOURI,PAKHI,NEETU,) The story is going back n forth WITH the dominating n compelling mothers who THINK whatever THEIR wishes r towards their self satisfaction their kids should fulfill it.none if them is giving their kids maximum support. They all bent on achieving their own goals jeopardizing with their children happiness.
They r all SELFISH inhumane n inconsiderate mothers. Another male Will help improve kalpi character n let realized her potentials her values….Thus leaving raghav gouri neetu ,pakhi manda,kamla with surprises.
I’m not saying raghav shouldn’t be together with kalpi,but the whole DRAMA between them is getting bored n annoying n kalpi is drown in her own self pity. She needs someone to help her change that mood n uplift her from that spirit…She is a brilliant girl. She can be BETTER person than what she is presently ….. She JUST NEED motivation n encouragement that her hurt should make her a stronger person n be a guidance to her future achievement MEANING once bitten twice shy so she wouldn’t make LOVE to come in her way again to deter her from achieving her goals.
She need to close the chapter of sadness n moaning n thinking about the past. May 27, 21:05Oops! Devya u got it mixed up. I am rather against the addition of another male lead solely for Kalpi’s sake. I understand what you mean about Kalpi needing motivation of some sorts thats why I think they should take her away for a bit. Even if another man comes into her life now, there is not going to be much difference as Kamla is still breathing down her throat. Kalpi needs to find herself as person, discover who she really is not who they say she should be or what people want her to be. She needs to find out what she really likes or hates etc. Bringing another man is like defining Kalpi only through a man. Thats what we have been discussing here with Kris and some others.
I cant stand the tedious sequences of longing looks exchanged between Raghav and Kalpi which is what will happen if another man comes in and Kalpi agrees to be with him. It will slowly turn into anothe Pavitra rishta. Eekkk!

It was so unfortunate that because of the underhand dealings of the Kapoors she did not get her correct results, Raghav realsing what happened used his influence to correct the situation. But had he not do that, Kalpi with her honesty, hard work and dedication she would have reached immeasurable heights without anyone’s assistance.

I know everyone is losing hope, but I am not. If Raghav wants to be with Kalpi, I support it. He is doing the right thing to divorce Paaki, and marry Kalpi. Having considered his thinking and reasoning about the entire matter, Raghav’s heart and mind are now in the right place and moving together in the same direction. Finally. Good. This is what he needed to do. Guys, don’t lose hope. We just discussed that Raghav and Kalpi’s love will face obstacles, did we not? And did we not say that no one is responsible for the separation but Raghav and Kalpi and that all others are just going to stand in the way and therefore, true love has to conquer these? Well, Gauri is another. I still like her. I totally understand Gauri. Don’t be upset guys.
Remember Raghav was just like Gauri. He was adamant about his revenge and could not see clearly about what he was doing, the consequences of his actions and how he was destroying his own life. But Raghav has seen the light and is changing and correcting his mistakes. Gauri is in the same boat with Raghav. Like him she too is consumed with the fire of revenge (for understandable reason). So like Raghav, she too will have to get some reasoning and sense knocked into her. In Raghav’s case, he came to realise that he is ruining his own life and happiness with this revenge. Gauri will now have to realise that what she is asking her son to do in carrying out the revenge, will destroy HER SON. She as a mother will need to wake up and see that in this process HER SON is being destroyed. And she will have to face the decision: Do you want your son to be destroyed for your (Gauri’s) happiness? To personalise that question: Do I want my son to be destroyed in the process of taking revenge? Then Gauri will end up the biggest loser for having lost her husband and now, her son. So now we see that Gauri, like Kamla, is focused on her own agenda. Kamla is focusing on Paaki’s happiness and not Kalpi’s happiness. And Gauri is focused on her happiness (getting revenge) and not her son’s happiness.
Don’t blame or bash Raghav. Support him. So far Raghav is doing very well as a person. He realises his mistakes and he is correcting them. But there is still challenges. Given their similar circumstances, Raghav and Kalpi will only find their happiness, comfort and support in and with each other and AWAY from their FAMILIAL INFLUENCES. Don’t bash Raghav. The guy is right. As per our discussion yesterday, now true love will be tested from all angles. Raghav and Kalpi will have to overcome these hurdles. The solution lies within them.
I don’t agree with a new guy fo Kalpi either (no no no) and neither do I support any plot to make Kalpi a “madam”. From what I see, the issues are not about becoming a madam in light of these circumstances. Running away from your problems do not solve them or make you better. You just become defeated in life. And if you can’t win this battle, will you win other battles? Every battle in life is to take you to a bigger battle in the future. You have to fight the current one and win it in order to move on higher in life to fighting bigger battles. That is why I don’t support Kalpi going away and becoming madam. Her problems should not drive her to accomplish wealth but rather to be a conqueror in these problems and go where you will find your happiness. Going away will fulfil Kamla’s dream and not necessarily Kalpi’s dream. The same which Gauri is making Raghav do.

We are responsible for our actions and MUST answer for them. If people are bashing him it is the same way they bash Kamla for her innumerable errors. If bashing Kamla and pooki is alright then we can point out, criticize and even be angry with Raghav as well right? True he is trying to make amends, we can only wait and see how far he does that.I admire the fact that they have written recognition and repentance in his character but until i see how he goes about it, I aint sure for now I can brandish a ‘go Raghav’ slogan .
Secondly, I again do not agree with you slightly on Kalpi going away. If they want to write this in I dont have a prob and I will tell you why. Kalpi needs to find herself. She has been living for people (Kamla, Vitthal, Raghav) at every stage of her life and needs to be somewhere were no one dictates to her what to do. She shouldnt go as if she wants to prove something no, if she much go it should be just to find herself. You said, “Her problems should not drive her to accomplish wealth but rather to be a conqueror in these problems and go where you will find your happiness.” Sometimes Paige we loose a battle to learn enough to win a war and there is nothing wrong in taking a step back for better perspective. Right now I dont see Kalpi having any self perspective. If working hard and surpassing herself brings her wealth then GREAT! But this character needs to breath. The situation with Raghav despite the love is very complicated and suffocating if you ask me.
Through this Character like Kris and I observed earlier it should be shown that there is an inner strength in us(every human) that is not dependent on the people around us. To prove that this support system (family) around kalpi has to shift.

May 27, 14:40Hi Pani. Points well taken and valid. In Raghav’s case when I said don’t bash him i meant for him to be given time to follow through with his corrective steps. In light of his mother opposing this wedding with Kalpi, we may want to jump on him for what his mother say. (Silly me…the viewers have every right to their reaction. My bad.) So I won’t bash him..at least…not yet. I want to let him have his space to see how he reacts to his mum’s opposition. And if he blunders again, then I am first in line to bash him. Sorry the mistake was mine. Should have made it clearer. I know many would throw up their hands when Guari objects to the wedding for the sake of revenge, and then they will bash Raghav for it. I really meant, to support him in the steps he is taking to correct the situation. I would give him the space to correct it fully without adding more tension to him.
I couldn’t say the same for either Paaki or Kamla. And it’s not that they can’t be forgiven like Raghav for the mistakes they made. They can. The issue is they are not correcting those mistakes. Raghav realises his mistake in marrying Paaki and is doing something about it. Paaki knows about Raghav’s intent with the marriage and his love for Kalpi but insist on staying and winning him over. Kamla still is yet to see what she is doing to Kalpi. Kamla bashed Raghav enough in my view for me to do any more to him even while he is changing. I can’t say the same for the rest of the characters.
Yes…I fully understand everything you said about Kalpi going away and make it big. And losing some battles to win some. Totally agree and that is great. I love what you say there. It resonates very well with me. And at one time I thought about that too and the plot going along that lines, but I changed my mind.
I begin to focus on what mattered to me. I sort of put my thinking into the character of Kalpi. Going away and becoming someone is an excellent goal in light of the circumstances. But then, what matters the most to me, I asked myself? (Remember my thinking in Kalpi…lol). And you are right…(was it you or another commentator?) who said that love is not something you can toss away so easily.
Raghav blundered big time no doubt. But this is Paige in Kalpi here, I would consider what Raghav means to me. What he has done for me– aside from his mistake. A man of his standing bows so low to prove his love and prove it again and again after his mistake. To know what he is doing just to get my love and perhaps willing to give up just to be with me. I would take all of this into consideration. for me what makes the difference is Rahgav’s reasoning and thinking after making this mistake and I like what I see in his reasoning. The fact that he didn’t miss a beat in showing remorse and begin to express that love even more in light of that mistake, says a lot. So I guess I would stick with Raghav and support him. THat was my wish for Kapli. But others want to see her do otherwise. Not a problem. I support their desire for Kalpi’s character too.
I am for true love against all odds. (smile)And sometimes that may mean doing the unexpected and taking a decision that many would not take.

May 27, 15:01I am all for forgiveness, reconciliation and restoration. When I see someone make a mistake and genuinely interested in correcting it and doing everything he can to correct it, I would not bash him. It takes a lot to realise one’s mistake and correct it. That’s humility. And humility is prized as one of the greatest virtue in God’s sight. For me, that humility of Raghav (his brokenness and contrition) is enough grounds for forgiveness, reconciliation and restoration. And when we forgive, reconcile and restore a man, we also forget his past mistakes. I can’t forgive someone and this bash him for his past. Be it far from me to do that. If the character is genuinely trying, why bash him? He is correcting his mistakes. The others remain as they are, looking after their own interests.
I see Raghav as character with a heavy past who is taking big steps to correct a great blunder. I am more for helping mankind even if the opportunity cost for doing that is a personal goal or ambition. A life saved, corrected and restored has far greater worth than any wealth can satisfy. Hence, my hope for Kalpi to be this kind of person for Raghav. She already has most of the virtues and understanding.

2) In the pre-cap gauri says to raghav he can’t marry Kalpi, what the hell is wrong to her? Is she another kamla who decides to ruin their children lives? OMG I am disgusted at her statement “kalpi is a nice girl and i like her too but you can’t marry her.” Raghav better be a man an stand up for his love…

Day by day it’s becoming depressing to watch. Where is this serial headed ? To be honest I suspect the all the hu ha regarding ragna’s marriage is just a dream . Most probably Raghav dozed off while waiting for kalpi thats when the sequence happen. It is highly unlikely that kalpi will agree to the marriage as she would consider pakhi’s feeling .It’s just too soon.
As it looks like raghav and pakhi’s marriage is legal. Am a bit dissapointed in that as Ashish has stated that the marriage is fake in his FB.

However, Gauri ji if you cant stand Poki let her go. I was once again very disappointed with her counsel in the precap. She is not seeing her son only her desire for revenge. How dare she insist he stay with Pooki? And worst of all she says they should torture Pooki cause she is the weaker one…Gauri needs to reigns it in cos she is slowly turning into a lesser version of the Kapoors.
