Sharda comes to Sakshi’s room and finds her looking outside…all lost in thoughts. She asks her what she is thinking. Sakshi is worried about the after wedding pressure. Plus everyone is expecting me to be like you. I wont be able to do it. Sharda says after all the rituals, there is one ritual left to do which the DIL of the house does. She offers the thaal filled with turmeric to Sakshi and asks her to make an imprint of her hands on the wall. Sakshi notices the two other handprints on the wall and obliges. Sakshi is told to put her hands over Sharda’s handprints. Sharda remarks that your handprints have hidden my hand prints so well as if they were never there. Now you tell me how are you and I different? We both are one after all. You know when I had come here for the first time then I too was very scared but I did everything with a pure heart. God showed me the right way. I have full belief that you will be a much better DIL & wife than me. You will do everything right and be the best in everything. New life is like a blank page and its in your hands what you want to write on it. Sakshi nods. Suresh calls for Sharda so she leaves from there. Sakshi affirms Sharda’s words. New story can be written on a blank sheet only which shouldn’t have anything related to my past.

Latika’s husband shows her the decoration that he has done in Karan’s room for their first night. I have done it all. MIL told me that a brother’s room is to be decorated by his sister and brother-in-law. You were busy so I did it on my own. Nice, right? Latika doesn’t like any of it. She even ridicules it. This is so tasteless. I had told you to hire a professional decorator now look at this. We could have added a flower each as per the ritual. She calls him old fashioned. He is obviously hurt and she doesn’t understand it. She leaves to make a call and tells him that Diya is waiting for him.

Karan comes to his friends’ room. He comes murmuring about marriage being a tough task. His friends scare him all the more about wife, her relatives, etc. They talk about some friend of theirs, Sahil, who has been busy looking after his wife all this while. Karan is listening to all this worried. Sahil joins them but before he can drink something his wife calls out for him and he leaves. Rest of the friends laugh over it. Rohan tells Karan to have a drink too before Sakshi calls out for him. Karan asks for a bottle but then opts for cold drink. Rohan teases him about tonight being his first night where Sakshi will be waiting for him with a glass of milk. Karan declines. I will go and tell her everything that I am not ready for this marriage status.

Karan comes to his room. He looks at all the decoration and then at Sakshi’s wedding dress which has been kept over the sofa. He thinks her to be a very fast forward kind of girl. Hmm, like a typical wife she will come and offer me milk. He looks around for milk and finds diet drink on the side table. Sakshi comes out of the washroom. Karan looks at her and Saiyaan re plays. She walks up to him. you must be thinking why I am not sitting here like a typical Indian wife wearing my wedding dress and acting all shy? He nods. She takes a step towards him while he retreats one step behind in response. She says someone has told me to be the way I am. We shouldn’t start our relation by pretending anything. Karan appreciates it. She wants to start this relation truthfully. He too wants to tell her something but she stops him. I don’t know if I will have this much courage again or not. She tells him about Aditya and that she was planning to elope with him. he stops her from saying anything else and walks out of the room.

Karan comes downstairs and is really happy. My problem is over now. She loves someone else. Now mom will end it, not me. He rubs his eyes to show like he is sad and comes to his mom’s room. He asks for his dad first and on knowing that he isn’t here he tells her about Sakshi’s past. Sharda smiles. Karan is surprised to see her smiling. She tells him that Sakshi is a pure soul. She wants to base your relation on truth. Sharda tells her about their first meeting. We all make mistakes but very few people have the guts to accept it. Sakshi is a very good girl. You are lucky to have her. she tells him to think about how many female friends he had before wedding. Karan is speechless. Forget her past and think about your future. Sakshi will always stand by you. No one will be able to separate you people. Karan comes out dejected. Mom is with Sakshi. Now I will make this truth my weapon as this is about my life after all. He thinks of doing some drama.

Sakshi is pacing in her room worriedly. Karan puts up fake tears and makes an entry. Sakshi tells him she only wanted to share her truth with him. I dint intend to hurt you. He replies that it would have been better if you would have told me about this before our marriage. I too had many dreams like every other guy. Now I will have to cancel it all. Who has given the right to you to play with my life? Sakshi is very sad. Please hear me out. He stops her. now there is nothing to be talked about. He lies down on the sofa and pretends to sleep. She asks him not to sleep on the couch and also apologises. He acts as if he is tired and hurt and closes his eyes again. Sakshi sadly goes and sits on the bed. She is very much close to tears. Karan looks at her and smirks.

At night, Karan wakes up and goes to washroom. Sakshi is sleeping on the bed. Karan comes back and lies down next to her only. They both keep fighting for the quilt while asleep. Saiyaan re plays. Karan pulls it too hard and they both land on the floor with Sakshi over him. they both share an eye lock. Afterwards they both feel look away. karan explains how he ended up on the bed. She tells him to sleep on the bed while she will sleep on the couch. He denies. he also talks about how his dreams got shattered. Sakshi feels bad.

Next morning, Karan wakes up and Sakshi brings tea for him. he declines. he also tells her not to give respect to him when they are alone. It looks good in front of mom dad only. I know the reality. She tries to explain but he doesn’t let her. he acts to be really upset with her and sends her off. As soon as she goes outside he drinks the tea. Sakshi comes from behind and watches him. Karan is caught. She tells him to drink it. Is it cold, you want another? He tells her not to do anything for him. he talks more and more hurtful things.

She comes out of her room and her friends come there to tease her about her first night. She tells them about her confession. Karan is very hurt. They tell her not to give up. You have done the right thing. Indian guys take time to accept their wives past but he will surely accept it. Try to keep him happy always.

Karan gets a phone call from his friends. They were checking to know about his first night. Karan tells him nothing happened so that was awesome. He tells them that his plan is working. I have taken my wife on a guilt trip so I wont have to walk over this husband wife phase now. he ends the call. A few more days and then Sakshi will go back to her home and I will get my freedom.

Precap: Dadi asks Padma to eat something sweet made by Sakshi. Only then you can go. Sharda asks Sakshi to make halwa. Sakshi tells her of the two attempts she had made earlier.
