Ekta Kaul in utter distress!!

Ekta Kaul, the protagonist of Zee TV’s Rab Se Sohna Isshq (Jay Productions) seems to be in utter distress!! The lady we hear is so disturbed that she refused to shoot yesterday (15 January). She simply locked herself in her vanity van and kept crying. She was also seen making frantic calls to her family in Jammu, trying to talk beating her tears in Kashmiri language..

We tried to dig in more to know what troubles the actress so much!!

One of our reliable sources did confirm this bit of news and stated, “Yes, Ekta is indeed troubled, we are not able to understand the exact cause for it. Yesterday, she packed her bags and informed the team that she is going back to Jammu (her home town) as she needs some time for herself. She went on to explain that she has few family problems and needs time to sort them out. The matter got so serious that Producers Jai Mehta and Kinnari Mehta had to rush to the set to understand her problem and convince her to stay back.”

The source went on to say that, “As of now, she has been convinced to go on leave when Ashish Sharma takes his break for marriage, so that the makers can plan their absence of leave and create a bank of episodes.”

After understanding this version of the story, we decided to call Ekta Kaul. However, the actress seemed to come up with a different reason. She told us, “Yes, I am desperately looking for a break from my show. The reason is that I am suffering from Malaria and am very weak at the moment. I am running high temperature even as I am talking to you. I want to go to Jammu and consult my family doctor there and steal some rest too.”

After getting to know Ekta’s reasoning, we again got back to our source who claimed, “Yes, Ekta did suffer from Malaria, and is taking precautions when it comes to her health. But yesterday’s incident was something different; she seemed to specify that she has few family problems that need immediate attention.”

So far, so good!! But yet another reliable source of ours stated that, “There is a possibility that Ekta has some problems brewing in her relationship with Kanan (Malhotra).”

When we asked about this to Ekta, she immediately rubbished the news saying, “Why would I have problems with Kanan? All is well. It is my health that is in bad shape. I am feeling low in mind at the moment.”

We buzzed Kanan Malhotra too, who accepted the fact that Ekta has been having health problems. “She is down with malaria, and has a severe cervical problem too. She has consulted many doctors in Mumbai, but wants to meet her family doctor in Jammu so that she can get treated better. She wants a leave for two days, but our hectic schedule is not allowing her to go.”

Ask him if he will accompany Ekta to Jammu, and Kanan says, “Yes, why not? I will try my best to go with her.”

And on the break-up rumours, Kanan laughed it off saying, “Where is this coming from? People are mad that we are happy.”

Hmm, we just hope Ekta gets the maximum support that she wants from Kanan at this phase of her life..
