Garba magic in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

Neela Telefilms’ Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, on SAB TV, is a show that celebrates each and every festival with equal zeal and zest. Now, with Navratri season on, how can residents of the Gokuldham Society not play garba and dandiya?

Well… the Gokuldham society is off for a dandiya dhamaka.

Our source informed us that the entire Gokuldham society will be visiting a famous garbaand dandiya venue, Kora Kendra, Borivali (west) Mumbai. There they will perform aarti after which they will dance to Gujarati numbers. The garba and dandiya magic will be in full swing. The costumes will be elegant and bright. The entire dance sequence will go on for two days in succession.

When we contacted Bhide (Mandar Chandwadkar), he said, “Nothing has been finalised yet. We are yet to shoot for the sequence. Interestingly, if we are going to dance in Kora Kendra, then I am actually looking forward to it.”

This particular sequence will air on 23 and 24 October (2012).
