Gautam Rode and Hina Khan honored to receive the prestigious award!

The actors have been awarded the very prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award for best actor and best actress of television respectively.

It’s a cloud nine moment for the two popular television actors Gautam Rode and Hina Khan. The very prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke which was limited only for films has now felicitated television actors as well who have gained immense popularity in the field of television with their versatile acting skills. Well, Gautam and Hina have received this prestigious award.

Gautam Rode who portrays the character of Saras in Star Plus’ popular show Saraswatichandra gained immense popularity through his acting skills and the actor received this prestigious award today for the Best Actor in television. An elated Gautam told us, “I am feeling very good, humbled and honored to receive this award. When I first got to know that I will be getting this awards then my reaction was like – Really?’ Then I believed that I am really getting it and it’s a very nice feeling to get such a prestigious award. My Mom and Dad were present when I got this award and they were very happy to see me receiving this award. I owe my success credit to all my admirers as it’s all because of their love and support that this has become possible.”

Actress Hina Khan who essays the character of Akshara in Star Plus’ popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has won this award for the best actress of Television. The actress has become a household name today and she perfectly portrays her character on-screen. Hina is on cloud nine today and sharing her happiness with us, she told us, “I am feeling great to receive this award. When I got a call from them that I will be getting this award then I didn’t believe as it was only for films so I called back to cross check so they confirmed me that they have introduced a new category for Television too. I am very happy and I took my award on my sets and everybody was telling me that now throw away all your awards and keep this one with you but for me every award is equal and precious for me. This one is very prestigious and I will cherish it for the whole of my life. I am just one show old and getting such a prestigious award has made me feel proud of myself today. My family couldn’t come here and when I told my Dad about it, he didn’t believe and told me that how can you get it as it’s a lifetime achievement award and you are too young to get it but when I showed him the letter, he believed and wished me. He also congratulated me. After God, I will give my success credit to one and only Rajan Shahi. My fans are very happy about it and they are sending so many messages to me on India Forums.
