Hemant Choudhary in Star Plus’ Siya Ke Ram

Star Plus’ next masterpiece produced by Triangle Films, Siya Ke Ram launches tonight, 16 November at the 8 PM slot.

Joining the prime cast will be seasoned actor Hemant Choudhary, who was last seen in Sasural Simar Ka.

Hemant will play the warrior king, Kushdhwaj, uncle to Sita and younger brother to Raja Janak.

For the very first time, audiences will see Sita’s maayka given a lot of prominence, with their tracks running parallel to that of the Ayodhya track.

As for Khushdhwaj, he will be shown as a great warrior who would have learnt the art of fighting from Rishi Vishwamithra. In the later part of the story, he will become a reason for Ram and Sita’s meetup.

Khushdhwaj will have two daughters, Mandvi and Shrukirti, who will later get married to Bharat and Shatrughan.

When contacted, Hemant confirmed the news and said, “It is an honour to be part of Siya Ke Ram. I play the role of Khushdhwaj, chacha to Sita.”

Hemant was earlier seen on the Star Plus show, Ek Ghar Banaunga.

Here’s wishing him all the very best..
