“Hosting is more difficult because I am hosting a show for the first time” – Drashti Dhami

As Colors’ popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa Season 7 is all set to hit the TV screens soon, the viewers were quite inquisitive to know the hosts of the popular show. But their curiosity is all over as the very popular and talented Drashti Dhami is all set to be seen as the hostess of the show. While she was a part of the dance reality show in its previous and being the winner of the season, it seems the actress wants to continue her association with the show this year too.

Well, not to forget the last season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa was hosted by two versatile and ace actors Manish Paul and Kapil Sharma, but this time it will be hosted by another funny actor Ranvir Shorey and beautiful Drashti Dhami. Whether the duo will be able to live up to the audiences expectations or not it is something to watch out for.

Since Drashti is hosting the show, we asked her about her reaction and she says, “Yes I am hosting Jhalak Dhiklaa Jaa and I am very excited for it but more than being excited I am very nervous because last year Manish Paul and Kapil Sharma did a great work and I don’t think I could even be close to what they were, but yes I know I will give my best.”

Drashti is going to do multi-tasking as she will be hosting Jhalak as well as she is acting in the show Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. So when asked how will she manage shooting for the shows she says, “As you know that I managed it last year when I participated in Jhalak this year also I will manage it in the same way.”

When asked Drashti about what is more challenging and difficult to do between – Acting, Dancing and Hosting she says, “For now hosting is more difficult because I am hosting a show for the first time. Last time I hosted the Golden Petal Awards but that was very restricted so this is completely different. According to me dancing and acting is easy because I have danced in Jhalak and acting is my skill.”

When asked her about her favorite contestant from the new season of Jhalak, Drasthi says, “Karan Tacker is my favorite and I support him because he is a good friend of mine.”
