Popular villain of TV, Gaurav Chaudhary seen as Parmeet in Bani-Ishq Da Kalma shares his fitness mantra with us.

While he plays the popular villain in Colors’ show Bani- Ishq Da Kalma, Gaurav Chaudhary is a fitness freak and practices Yoga daily to remain fit. We quizzed the actor to know more about his Stay fit mantra.

What does fitness means to you? What is idea of fitness?

Fitness is about being healthy all day long. Right from the time you wake up till you go to sleep in the night, you must feel energetic. If your body is fit you frequently don’t fall sick and also if you are not habituated to smoking and drinking alcohol then you are fit.

What efforts do you take to stay in shape?

I do yoga because I know various aasan. I do Pranayam exercise like kapalbhati, anulom vilom and many more. This helps in increasing your metabolism activity, reduces tension and pressure. I follow Baba Ramdev only for his Pranayam exercises.

Are you conscious about your food choices?

Yes, I am very much conscious about my food choices because in this line we have to keep everything balanced and the food we eat reflects in our body thus it’s really important to have proper food habitat.

Do you take protein supplements?

Yes, I take protein supplements. There is D- protein powder which is available in various brands. I take it because it’s a very good source of protein

Is there any sport you are skilled at?

I was national level basketball player, I used to play under seventeen and other than that I play Volleyball as well.

A celebrity’s body you admire?

Rahul Bose as he was the rugby captain of our national team. Now I don’t remember whether he is still the captain or not but he has a very good physique.

What is you fitness secret?

I eat right. I prefer to stay away from alcohol and don’t smoke at all.

A fitness tips for your fans?

Eat a proper diet; avoid eating heavy food after 8pm. Start eating early in the morning because it will make your metabolism rate higher. So do that.
