I miss being with my husband: Paridhi Sharma

Paridhi Sharma, aka Jodha of Zee TV’s Jodha Akbar (Balaji Telefilms), has been tied up with her back-to-back shooting schedules.

But in spite of her busy agenda we managed to steal her off her shots for a small conversation in which she talks about her distance from husband Tanmay Saxena, not being active on social networking and professional relationship with her co-stars.

How is Jodha Abkar shaping up? “Well, we are working hard so that the show soon becomes number one,” states the actress with a smile.

But is she content as an actor? “I am satisfied. I’ve got a lead role to play in a good show, which is doing really well. I know I have a long way to go but for now I am just enjoying this moment,” Paridhi answers.
Doesn’t she miss someone in this happy moment? “I miss being with my husband (Tanmay). All I can say is that I somehow manage to stay without him in Karjat while he stays in Mumbai. The distance does upset me at times, but then he makes it a point to come here or I go to Mumbai when I have some free time,” she avers.

Aren’t they working on cutting short the distance? “Yes, we are,” replies the actress with a smile as she goes on to add, “We are looking at buying a property here so that we get to stay here together.”
What about your family? “They are extremely happy and supportive of me. I am here because of them,” the actress quips.

Lastly when we ask her as to why she is not active on social networking sites, she promptly reverts saying, “I am extremely bad at handling Facebook and Twitter though I am trying to get on to them to interact with my fans.”

We wish you all the success and happiness Paridhi!
