As Rakshabandhan is round the corner, it seems that all brothers and sisters are excited to celebrate the beautiful bond of togetherness and love. While people celebrate it with enthusiasm and happiness our TV actors are also nonetheless, they too are celebrating this festival in full swing.

We got in touch with Arjit Taneja who plays Purab in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya to know how is he celebrating the festival. It has been seen that Arjit shares a great bonding with his cousin sisters on-screen too so let’s know what kind of bonding he shares with his real sister.

Talking about his plans of this Rakshabandhan he says, “I am flying to Delhi. It’s my sister’s first Rakshabandhan after her marriage and I am glad that I will get time to spend with her. I am going to celebrate it with my family.”

So how is Arjit’s bond with his sister? He avers, “It’s like natural and very good brother-sister bond. We stay in a joint family so our bond is very simple and sweet.”

Like a daring brother, has he ever protected his sister from any evil thing? Arjit replies, “Touch wood till now I have not been in a situation where I have to protect her from wrong people or something. She is smart enough to protect herself. Being the elder sister she protects me more and now when she is married she has an awesome husband to protect her.”

Recollecting his childhood memories Arjit says that like usual brother sister they used to fight a lot, “We used to fight a lot before she got married. Once we had a big fight and we both left home, finally mom and dad convinced us.”

That’s sweet Arjit…

We wish our readers a Happy Rakshabandhan!
