Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 14th November 2012 Written Update

Baba asks Ashu if he’s thought about Khushi’s future because she is their responsibility now. Yuvraj reminds that this is a legal matter and only law will decide where Khushi will live (I hope this country’s judiciary works well for once and announces that Khushi needs to leave this show ASAP!). DB tries to cheer everyone up since it’s Diwali season but Ashu is left thoughtful.

Nidhi notices Ashu’s pensive mood. Neither of them can sleep. She advises Ashu to live in the present but Ashu says this is a serious thing. As usual, their opinions clash a bit and they have a cute bicker about age, seriousness and happiness Ashu agrees, though, that they should try making this Diwali a happy one for Khushi no matter what happens tomorrow.

Nidhi checks on Khushi and then happily calls someone up to give Khushi a surprise.
Next morning, Khushi gets out of her room sleepily but is surprised to see her Nani at the dining table. She happily hugs her and they reunited happily. This was AshNi’s surprise for Khushi on Diwali.

In the evening, the family does pooja and all the rituals. Khushi hops around like a happy bunny and her Nani is delighted to see her like this. Yuvraj and DB reach and Nidhi greets and introduces them to Nani. Khushi shows Ashu the diyas she decorated. Everyone seems cheerful and in a festive mood.

Khushi has a surprise for everyone. She shows them her sketch of the entire family and they’re all pleasantly surprised. It is on the same canvas Ashu had given her. Everyone seems touched and AshNi kiss Khushi on both her cheeks.

Nidhi is watching Ashu and Khushi bursting crackers. Nidhi wants to adopt Khushi (). Nani overhears her telling the same to Ashu and says that Khushi has no one in this world and she can go any time now, so who will look after Khushi? She has seen their love for her.
Ashu however has second thoughts since Nidhi is at a delicate turn on her career and has a lot of opportunities awaiting her. She can’t hurry with this decision and should think well and consult even the elders. Till then, Khushi can stay with them.

Yuvraj and DB take a leave from the Mathurs’. Baba, Kaka and Khushi open up the gifts and Khushi is happy seeing amazing stuff for her. Ashu wants to talk to Baba but Nidhi wants to talk to Ashu first. She takes him outside and he sees the entire hospital staff at his doorstep. They all settle down but Ashu seems a little upset. He asks Nidhi about the get-together. Nidhi says she invited them for a cards party about which Ashu seems thoroughly disapproving.

Precap: Everyone is playing cards. Ashu seems bored and annoyed so he takes a sleeping Khushi and goes inside. Nidhi seems to be playing well but notices Ashu missing.
