Kumkum Bhagya 1st September 2014 Written Episode
The episode starts with Tanu saying a big secret/ big mistake is done by Aliya. She thought Purab loves Pragya. She thinks to inform them but then thinks she should not let Abhi know the truth. She thinks Abhi will develop a soft corner for Pragya and may accept her as his wife. She thinks not to inform him else he will go far away from her. She says, if Pragya is not with Purab then it means she is here only. She doesn’t know anything. She says I won’t show this letter to Abhi and thinks something.
Everyone wait for Purab and Aliya and says is there any problem. Dadi says no problem. She enquires with Purab’s uncle and aunty. Taiji thinks where is Pragya. Aliya tells Abhi that they have to tell the family members else they will get worried. Abhi calls Purab’s friend. He says he didn’t meet him. Aliya asks Abhi to get Purab and Pragya back and she will kill him. Pragya comes back. Everyone look at her with surprised. Pragya is surprised too. Taiji asks, where were you? Pragya says, she went to garden to get the leaves as Panditji asked her to get it.
Dadi informs her that Purab didn’t come till now and mahurat is nearing ending. Pragya asks her not to worry and goes to see. She wonders why Purab didn’t come till now.
Purab is in the car and thinks Abhi might have read the letter by now. He thinks he didn’t inform his chacha and chachi and calls chachi. Chachi picks the call. He asks, is everything fine there? Chachi says, what do you mean? Where are you? Come here soon. Everyone is waiting for you here. Purab tells her that he is not going to come there. He says, you are right. I can’t marry Aliya and doesn’t love her. I have decided to return to Bulbul. Chachi is shocked. Purab says, till now Abhi and Aliya don’t know about it and asks her to go back home. Chachi says, you have taken a right decision but at the wrong moment. She says, we will leave from here. Chachaji comes and keeps his hand on her shoulder. She gets shocked.
Purab thinks Abhi won’t say anything to Pragya after reading the letter and says sorry. Aliya asks Abhi to inform the police. Abhi says, it is not a crime. Tanu comes and says she met Purab’s driver. He saw Purab eloping from the back gate. Abhi asks, where is he? I wants to meet him. Just then Pragya comes shocking Abhi. He asks where is Purab? Even Aliya is shocked. Abhi asks, what do you want? Pragya says, she came to call them as Dadi is worried. Aliya says, you helped Purab to eloped. Pragya says, she didn’t do anything like that. Abhi says, you must have forced Purab not to marry my sister. I won’t allow this to happen. I am giving you last chance. Tell me where is he else???Pragya says, she didn’t know where is he?
Abhi holds her and accuses her for trapping Purab and him. He says, Dadi means a lot to him. You just did a drama and saved me from Police. I didn’t see a clever woman in my life other than you. He raises his hand on her, but then stops himself. Aliya asks her to ask Purab to return to her. She asks her to call Purab. She promises to forgive Pragya if Purab returns back. She threatens to ruin her family if Purab doesn’t come back to her. Taiji comes and hears their talks. Pragya says, she doesn’t know where is Purab. Aliya says, you knows well. You are not telling me. You have snatched him with me before and now also you are doing the same thing. Tanu asks her to relax and says everything will be fine.
Pragya looks sadly at Abhi. Taiji listening to them smirks and gets happy thinking Purab refused Aliya again. She thinks to give this news to everyone. Sarla tells Beeji that she don’t understand why they are taking so much time. Taiji comes and says you all are wasting your time. Dadi asks, what do you mean? The Taiji says, this marriage can’t happen. Everyone is shocked. She says, Purab eloped leaving Aliya. She thinks Dadi is not dying even after a shock. Abhi’s chachi thinks if Pragya is here then Purab is with whom? Purab is driving the car and meets with an accident. Bulbul wakes up as she sees a dream about him. Her friends ask her to sleep and forget the bad dream. She recalls Purab and Aliya engagement and thinks Purab might have married Aliya by now.
Abhi tells Pragya that he knows that she is taking revenge from him. He says, you didn’t think about my Dadi even once and asks her to tell where is Purab. Pragya says, why she will tell Purab to leave when she made him to understand to agree. He says, I am sure that I did a mistake. I thought you are weak and asks her where is Purab for the last time. Pragya says, she don’t know. They see Dadi, Sarla and Beeji standing at the door. Dadi asks why did Purab go? Pragya goes to stand with Sarla. Dadi hugs Aliya. Aliya cries. Dadi says, Purab didn’t think of Aliya and Abhi.
Aliya blames Pragya for Purab’s doings. Abhi asks her to hold herself. Beeji asks, why Aliya is blaming Pragya? Abhi says, Aliya saw Purab talking to Pragya before leaving. One thing is sure I won’t leave the person who is behind Purab’s eloping. Dadi says, we have to think what to answer to the guests. Dadi says, I will tell the truth to everyone but my family should be with me. Everyone go to inform the guests. Tanu thinks Pragya is saved but till when?
Precap:
Dadi tells the guests that Purab left her grand daughter for the second time. He played with relations and broken their trust. She says, she won’t forgive him. Everyone look tensed.

Zee TV has had a remarkable journey ever since it has
launched. The show has not only touched the chords of
audiences pretty early, but has also managed to climb
the ratings chart very fast.
It is indeed a remarkable achievement that the show has
managed to grab the second position across all GECs in
quick time, being only behind the extremely popular
historical Jodha Akbar, that is even before it could even
complete its first milestone of 100 episodes.
Yesterday (1 September), Kumkum Bhagya completed
100 episodes. However, the cast and crew did not get
time to celebrate their moment of success yesterday.
Hence, a cake-cutting get-together has been planned on
the sets today.
Three cheers to the entire team of Kumkum Bhagya for
the success!!
Now, moving to the drama quotient on the show,
yesterday’s episode finally saw the groom-to-be Purab
(Arjit Taneja) eloping from the wedding venue.
In the episodes to come, there will be high drama with
Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) spotting Purab. The angry
young man will end up beating Purab black and blue. On
the other hand, Pragya (Sriti Jha) will face the music of
Aaliya (Shikha Singh) at home, as she will be hell bent on
sending Pragya out of the house. Along with Tanu
(Madhurima Tuli), Aaliya will plan to kick Pragya out of
the house.
Meanwhile, Sarla Maa (Supriya Shukla) will get a call from
someone who would reveal about Pragya’s problems to
her. The woman would also get to know of Bulbul
(Mrunal Thakur) meeting Purab who has just eloped. All
this will play in the lady’s mind, and she would be
extremely concerned about Pragya’s future with her
husband. Being in a desperate state, Sarla will soon suffer
from a heart attack, and will need immediate
hospitalization.
Well, this will be where Pragya will all of a sudden see a
major change in Abhi’s attitude.
A source states, “Abhi would develop a feeling of concern
for Sarla, and would help Pragya take care of her mother
in hospital. Seeing the concern that Abhi has for her
family, Pragya will slowly but steadily fall in love with
Abhi.”
We tried calling Sriti, but could not get through to her.
When contacted, an excited Supriya Shukla told us, “Yes,
it is a superb feeling to complete 100 episodes. We are
already the Number 2 show, and we are only behind
Jodha Akbar, which is also produced by Balaji Telefilms. I
personally love that show, but it will be a great feeling to
be at the top as the #1 show. That will be the ultimate
goal for us.”
When asked about the track ahead, the lady said, “Sarla
maa is certainly concerned about the future of Pragya.
But I am not aware of whats in store.”

September 02, 03:24Coming to my final part of my comment…There is blaring view expressed by many that Pragya should have told Abhi and his family about Purab – Bulbul affair .Although she had her very own reasons, she didn’t. Why should she ? It’s not her prerogative . Purab or Bulbul should have done so and faced the music.That’s my opinion. True, as one pointed out , this is all a drama . But, drama too, gets the viewers involved, for better or for worse .Correct? !

September 02, 03:14Continuing with my comments….I come to Aaliya. Aaliya is a devil incarnate , alright. She is vicious , vindictive etc etc,no doubt. BUT ,she is a human being too, with her emotional faculty well in order. She was emotionally drawn to Purab , however hard and conniving a person she was. Was it wrong ? Was it wrong that a plain looking , rich girl to be drawn to her brother’s friend ? Purab should have put an end to this , instead of allowing her to weave her world of dreams. He should have nipped it in the bud but he didn’t . So, to paint her blue and black when she is in distress is not a humane thing to do. In her case, one should give the devil it’s due .She is shattered for she is left high and dry at the altar. I’m no fan or critic of Purab or Aaliya but every character have their own peculiar quirks which cannot be explained .( to be contd )

September 02, 03:01Ya, it is taking a long time for the truth to come out. Ya, , the show is dragging too. But, still ,the high drama is noteworthy fora lot about it also, in my opinion, reveals a lot about the characters.Many facets of a personality are exposed,which under normal circumstances are not very obvious. Purab may be the heart throb of many, but he fails miserably in my eyes. He is a coward and an excapist of the highest order.He should be held responsible for all the mess prevailing. Daadhi says he ran away twice. Doesn’t he have the courage to face his friend Abhi and Aaliya and be more open about his feelings ? What could have happened ? Nothing more than what would happen soon. He is a gutless and brainless sentimental fool . What sort od life partner would he make to any girl he marries, running away from problems like he does.He whines, sheds tears and mopes around. Even his own aunt, reminds him that he is late in making his decisions. So, much is enough for Purab for one can go on and on, He is a total disappointment …( to be contd )

I think even her mom got suspicious if she’s a sensible woman she would have sensed that purab went back to bulbul.even she’s gonna lash out from d house. Then what’s meaning of hiding truth? ?.its disgusting! !!!! Despite giving lectures she can clarify that bulbul n purab love each other. .utter nonsense it turned out now.even purab is just a coward .

And she’s gonna do everything to stop Abhi find out too…
On the other hand if the accident was real, then it may bring bulbul running to purab & maybe everyone will find outthe truth either way… Even if like the rest of you think purab has amnesia dont forget, his chachi knows the truth too…
As for pragya & Abhi…. Drag on the misunderstanding as long as you like, but eventually, it’s gonna comeout somehow… Otherwise there is no point to this show…
To the writers, if you drag the truth. From coming out you are going to loose viewers…
What. I liked about this whole drama was how fast things developed & unraveled & unpredictable.. Now if u start dragging on this one issue, its really gonna get boring & predictable… It already is half way there…
So get back on track… Do what you did in. The beginning & get on with show…
