Laugh riot on 70mm…Taarak Mehta…soon to be made in a film

We have all loved Hats off Productions’ Instant Khichdi immensely, with the audience lapping up the dialect that Hansa and Praful spoke.

So popular was the show, that the makers later made a film on the same lines and titled it Khichdi-The Movie that featured Supriya Pathak Kapur, Rajiv Mehta, Vandana Pathak, Deven Bhojani and Anant Desai.

On identical lines, our source shared with us that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (SAB TV) will also be made into a film though there will be a concrete plot for the same. The flick will comprise of the same cast as that of the serial.

When contacted, producer Asit Modi (Neela Telefilms) said, “Yes, I wish to make a film on Taarak, as it’s very popular. Though I haven’t finalised on anything as of now, I guess the actors will be same. Nothing is decided as of now. But the day I finalize it, I shall come out with an announcement.”

Well, fans will definitely wait for this venture… Asit!!
