Mandar Chandwadkar is not “like Bhide in real life”

Mandar Chandwadkar, popularly known as Bhide of Neela Telefilms’ popular show on SAB TV, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is very different from his on screen character.

Talking about it, Mandar tells us, “I am very happy with the show and my role. I have been loved and appreciated by all. I am not like Bhide in real life. I have come across people like Bhide who are very systematic in life. When I enact a particular sequence, I keep in mind my building secretary who is very punctual and disciplined like Bhide.”

Mandar who essays a teacher in the show is more of a friend to his son. “I believe in friendship rather than preaching. So I am friendlier with my son rather than being a strict father.”

Talking about his future goals, the actor states, “I would like to get into movies and ad films. I will always be a part of the Taarak team, but movie is every actor’s dream and so is mine.”
