Scene 1
Somiya says Mangal said no to Karthik’s proposal. Adit says she’s stupid. Somiya says shes’ not stupid. She is clever and she took a stand for her sister. She didn’t let them do the rasam because the guy didn’t come. Wow. She pushed back your mom. Adit says they are too wrong. Somiya says yeah like her son can never be wrong her nephew can’t be wrong either. Adit says what do you mean? Somiya says nothing. She asks why didn’t Karthik go. Adit says he would be bored. She says he broke the proposal. If you did the same you wouldn’t have to do this marriage.

Scene 2
Kusum and Manggal get Lakshmi ready. Kusum says Lakshmi looks so pretty. Send her picture to Gayatri. She was very eager to see Lakshmi. She’s so happy. Shanti says you didn’t have to come. Karthik’s friends come there. He says what are you guys doing here? They say you invited us. Karthik says when did I? Karthik is confused. They say nice setup. Lakshmi comes there in a short dress and heels. She trips. people laugh at her. Karthik’s friend says she looks so stupid. Karthik says why did she have to wear heels? His friend says everyone wants to do fashion. Lakshmi is embarrassed. Karthik doesn’t see her face. Lakshmi falls. Everyoen laughs. Karthik picks her. He’s shocked to see it’s Lakshmi. Karthik says Lakshmi? Are you okay? She says I shouldn’t have come here. I don’t know why I did. I made a huge mistake. She runs inside. Karthik’s friend says who is this joker. Karthik says shut up.

Karthik says I am sorry on my friend’s behalf. I didn’t even see you. I am sorry. She says it’s my fault that I agreed to dress like this. The kind of girl you want, I am not that. Shanti says to Mangal how will we do the wedding so soon? Mangal says we will do something. Shanti says you planning to sell this house. She says this is Lakshmi’s house. We can use it for her. Lakshmi cries and says how will I answer didi? She fought for everyone for me. She says I couldn’t stay there. Sorry didi. Kusum says we should go now. You stay here and come home after meeting Lakshmi. Kusum leaves. Mangal waits for Lakshmi. Lakshmi comes home. Mangal is shocked to see her. She says what are you wearing? Why are you crying? Lakshmi says let me change. She says who did all this? Lakshmi says Karthik?

Karthik says to Sanjana you shouldn’t have done this. She says your friends are coming. I thought you would get ga ood surprise and you would see if she would be able to adjust with your friends.
