Scene 1
Kusum says to Mangal you’ve done such a wonderful wedding for Lakshmi. Bhushan goes to the mandap. Shanti stops him. Lakshmi cries. Karthik says Mangal bhabhi.. Adit says yes you’re right. Mangal should do the kandya daan. Kusum says yes that’s what I think too. Bhushan says yes Mangal is both her dad and mom. Mangal does their candy daan. Adit says to Karthik come drink some water. Karthik drinks water. Adit says you look stressed. He says I am in deep trouble. I don’t wanna do this wedding. Adit says you’re saying this now? At the time of pharaohs. It’s too late now. He says I couldn’t say before. Adit says please understand now. Don’t back out now. everyone will be so hurt. They will be defamed. The media will report it. Your career will drown. This wedding will be incomplete. Mangal says don’t say that. She looks around. It’s nowhere. Mangal says it’s okay. She makes a mangalsutra. She says to promise her you will always be with her. Kusum says she made a precious mangalsutra. She asks Karthik to make Lakshmiw wear it.

Karthik makes Lakshmi wear the mangalsutra. Eveyoern is happy. Pandit Ji says you’re both husband adn wife now. Mangal cries. She gets emotional. Gayatri and Kusum are very happy. Pandit ji asks them to take the blessings of elders. Karthik leaves in anger. Mangal asks what happened to him. Adit says he was feeling sick in the heat. Lakshmi goes after him. Adit says let them talk. You get the food ready. Lakshmi looks for Karthik. He’s sitting alone outside.

Scene 2
Mangal serves the food. Kusum asks her to eat as well. Mangal says I have to serve everyone. Kusum asks Shanti to prepare food for Karthik and Lakshmi.

Lakshmi comes to Karthik. He gets angry. He’s leaving. Lakshmi says sorry. Please listen to me. I told didi everything but.. He says but what? Mangal didn’t listen? Or asked you to be silent? She says there is a big misunderstanding. He asks what happened. She says I was telling didi and. Ishana and Akshad come there. They say dadi is calling you both. They take them inside.
