Scene 1
Gaitri comes to Kusum’s place. Papa says I will watch the news in my room. Mangal serves everyone tea and coffee. She says I made pakoray you love. Gaitri says you’re lucky you have such a nice DIL. She is so calm and yet manages everything. Kusum says there were many proposal for Adit and he’s handsome. But I knew what to do, I knew who was the right girl for him. I got a girl who could keep this house. Mangal comes and brings the pakoras. She says I made your favorite chutney too. Kusum asks did you started seeing a girl for him.

Karthik and Lakshmi come down from the crane. He hears her get down. He says what a coincidence. We’re meeting again. He asks what are you doing here? Did you come to participate? She says I had some work to do around. I’ve to go. She leaves. Gaitri asks Kusum do you know Jia, Karthik’s friend. Kusum says she works with Karthik as well. Gaitri says I don’t know what she doesn’t, she came too late at night. I felt so weird like she had control over Karthik. Kusum says that’s how girls are these days, they have no control but I know our Karthik stays away from such girls. He’s very wise. He’s like Adit. Adit always does what his mom says and Mangal is very sane too. You will find a girl like her. Gaitri says it’s not easy to find a girl like her. Kusum says what kind of girl do you want for him? She says I want a girl who deserves him. Who is smart and educated. When they go together, people say they are made in heaven.

Lakshmi comes to the shop. Shanti says did you win? Give me the money. She says I don’t have money. Shanti says did they give a cheque? She says I didn’t participate. Shanti says what? Who did you go out with then? Lakshmi says don’t say that. Shanti says how will we go to Manga’s house empty handed. You can’t avail any chance. She says I should die. Lakshmi says I will arrange money. Shanti takes out money from the drawer and says see you’re such a burden. You did this intentionally.

Scene 3
Gaitri is on her way back. She recalls her MIL cursing her that she would pay back for her sins. What you did with me, you will never have peace. Your son will leave you alone too. You will never be happy and you will cry like me. Gaitri comes home. Sanjana says on call so many girls are after Karthik. Hee might marry one of them. Gatiri says what is all this? Why do you keep talking about Karthik? She throws her phone. Sanjana says I was saying the truth. Why are you so cared? Boys are like that. They are always around mums till they get married. She says I know my son. You shut up. Sanjana says his life and priorities will change. He won’t come running all the time. Gaitri calls Karthik. Karthik comes home. He asks Sanjana is maa okay?? Shanti says everything is fine. She says bhabhi.. Gaitri came there. Sanjana says I lost the bet. Karthi says maa are you okay? She says yes. She says someone gets him water. Shanti says we did a bet that he won’t leave work and come for you. Gaitri says I told her you’d leave everything and come. I won the bet. Karthik says what? He steps back. He says I am still out of breath, my hands are cold. I broke so many signals, drove like crazy. What if I met an accident? Sanjana says don’t say that. Gaitri slaps Sanajana. She says have some shame. what if something happened to Karthik? Why did you make this shameless bet? She says poor my son. He drove like crazy. What if. She cries and says if anything happened to my son I’d have killed you. She says Karthik I am sorry. I am fine. I was provoked by her. Forgie me. Karthik says let it be. Gauri says you will never understand our relationship. My son is different from all sons. Karthik says all is good.

Scene 4
Adit says Akshar and Ishana whoever finishes the milk. I will take them for the movie. They finish fast. Adit says you both finished it together. Akshar says I won, we will watch challengers. They both fight who won. He says don’t fight. I will take both of you. Mangal says it’s a hit film we have to pre-booked it. Adit says it’s an English movie Mangal. You can’t watch it. Ishana and Akshar make fun of her English. Adit says to Ksusum my boss is coming in greh parvesh. He’s from France, and I have decided a nonindian menu for him. Kususm says that won’t look good in greh parvesh. We can cook less spicy food for him. Papa says our people are coming too. Adit says he is coming especially for the occasion. I can’t lose this chance my promotion depends on it. Kususm agrees. Akshar says I wanna eat a cheese sandwich, not paratha. Ksusum says to make what he wants. Mangal makes these sandwiches. Mangal, I should ask Adit if my list is final for the greh parvesh menu. She didn’t hear the conversation about his boss. Adit asks did you see the list? It’s final. She thinks he saw his list. Mangal says he loves the food I make. I will make the best food. Adit says we will only have Italian. Mangal says I will handle everything. Adit gets texts.
