Manish Nawani to enter Season 2 of Buddy Project

Channel [V]’s The Buddy Project, produced by Sunshine Productions will soon see a shift in the story line wherein the kids move from their school life to a media college. With this, few new characters will be introduced in the show.

We hear that talented actor Manish Nawani who essayed the Bad Guy Nakul in Sudhir Sharma’s earlier show, 12/24 Karol Bagh has been roped in to play a pivotal role. We had earlier reported that Chander Khanna who was seen in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha has also been signed on.

Furthermore, we have also learnt that the college life of kids will have a political backdrop. Manav Gohil who essays the role of Jaitley will enter much later to bring about a reformation in the kids’ lifestyles. Among the older cast, all have been retained except for Chestha Bhagat (Babita), Jatin Sharma (Samar) and Krishna Patel (Juhi).

When contacted, Producer Sudhir Sharma confirmed the news stating, “Yes, Manish Nawani and few other new additions will happen soon. The story shifts to a college based in Mumbai. The canvas will be bigger now. The fresh season of Buddy Project will go on air on 17 March 2013.”
