Pankhuri Awasthy to play Drapaudi in ‘Suryaputra Karn’!

The talented actress Pankhuri Awasthy, who has entertained the viewers with her acting skills is all set to make an entry in the popular mythological show ‘Suryaputra Karn’ on Sony Entertainment Television. The actress will we seen playing the role of Draupadi in the show.

To know more about her character and what made her take up this role, we got in touch with Pankhuri who says, “When I was offered the role of Draupadi, the first thing that came to my mind was that after Razia, Draupadi is another strong character, which I surely wanted to explore and I am glad to have got the opportunity. I feel very good that I am being able to portray the different shades of Draupadi’s life to the viewers.”

Furthermore she adds, “This is a complete contrast from my previous character of Razia and I am very happy to play this role. Every day it’s a new challenge to fit myself in her character and I hope I will do full justice to the role.”
