Parichay 22nd August 2012 Written Update

Scene 1: Sulekhaji’s house
The scene starts with sulekha confronting siddhi about how wrong she is in judging abhay because the suffering that he has seen is much worse than hers.she can still see her son but he has lost both his wife and kids.therefore he clings on to anand as his aarrival hs given abhay a new reason to live after being tormented for months with the grief of losing his loved ones.What would have happened had anand grew up in an orphanage or slums or worse had died just like his twin brother.She wsays that she understnds that abhay’s pampering is the reason for anand being spoilt but its just his fatherly affection as he has stopped believing in future and wnts to live each day with anand as his last.If she still feels that abhay is wrong for anand then she is free to do whatever she likes and walksout and leaves siddhi wondering.

Scene 2:
Location: Prince valley school
The principal is reprimanding kunal for anand’s bad result and says its his responsibility as a father.Both father and son are getting bored by the lecture and decide to flee from there.

Scene 3:
Location: On the roadside
Kunal is pretending to be angry at anand but at the same time trying to make him understand that he passed even if it is with grace marks.He says that he haas just got the name of his chachu but not the intelligenc.Anand promises that one day he would make everybody proud of him and both father son resume eating icecream again.

Scene 4:
Location: Chopra house
Everybody is celebrating something in the middle of ishani and aokhi’s petty fights.kunal and anand walk in and kunal asks what d celebration is about,seema makes up an excuse saying that its her daughter anokhi who’s passed an audition whereas in truth its anand who has done it.Unaware of this kunal congratulates anokhi and goes inside.There he starts searchingfor his lucky coin and when he comes out to ask anand about it,he finds out the whole family congratulating anand behind his back.He confronts anand about t to which he says that it was just to show off his friends but he dsnt want to pursue it any further.Kunal is happy with his descision and asks him about the coin and goes on to find it inside.seema follows him and makes him realise that ananad takes care of everybody in the house and that its time we started understanding what are his dreams and passion just like this audition.she goes on to tell that the fees for registering is 25000.Kunal is shocked but then seema and kunal both resolve to fulfill this task anyhow and make anand’s dream com true.

Scene 4:
Location:Sulekhaji’s house
abhay and anand are playing video games and siddhi is looking at them in the background.anand compares a rival car to his mom and goes on to bash that car resembling that his mother would be out of her life. But abhay stops him from doing so.In th emidst of all this gaming,abhay tries to explain the importance of a mother to anand and tries ti get him to agree to spend time with siddhi. She is glad after hearing this.

Scene 5:
Location: Chopra house
Kunal comes in drunk,and on being scolded by seema for the same he says that he is frustrated with his life and that he is too deep in his own grief,that he has forgotten all his duties and responsibilities to various members of his family.Seema tries to stop him by saying sorry but he silences her saying that his son wants to take part in a simple competition but cant because his father dsnt have money.He says every time he looks in anand’s eyes he sees his own helplessnes..Finally he walks towards anaand’s bedroom where he sees his son sleeping having clutched the audition ticket close to his heart.He kisses his son and lays down next to him and the screen freezes.

Precap: Abhay is shown advising siddhi not to be her own self and since anand does not like her this way she should try and mould herself according to what anand likes.
