Scene 1
Neeti and Rajiv are sitting together in the garden, she says I will go and change into nice clothes so we can take photos. Rajiv says leave all that, just stay with me and spend romantic time. Neeti says but I am cold. Rajiv says I have an idea. He starts dancing with her romantically. Neeti says lets dance to a more romantic song. Rajig kisses her hand and romances with her. Pari comes there and sees them happy together, she feels hurt and silently cries as Rajiv pulls Neeti closer and kisses her forehead. Pari looks away and cries. Rajiv gets a call and says what?
All rush to Biji and see her lying down. Rajiv asks what happened? Biji wakes up and says I am okay, I called you all here and happy to see you all worried for me. Pami says we pray that you are with us forever. Rajiv says you called us just to see our worry? Biji says I will keep making you worry till I have your baby. Neeti gets a call and leaves. Biji says its good that she is gone, tomorrow is Rajiv and Pari’s first lohri so it has to be special. She asks Pami to make sure we have big celebrations and all the food. She nods. Neeti comes there and asks what’s going on? Biji says its a family matter so don’t bother. Pari tells Neeti that I will tell you later. Biji says I was talking about Pari and Rajiv’s first lohri. Rajiv asks Biji to take rest and takes Neeti from there.
Neeti talks to Pari and says tomorrow will be Sanju and I’s first lohri, we will have so much fun. Rajiv says how will we as Biji will be there so we can’t take pheras together. Pari says don’t worry Neeti, you will take pheras and get blessings. Neeti thanks her and says you will make everything work. Rajiv thinks I don’t know what Pari is going through, she has a right on lohri too as its her first after the marriage but what will I do when Biji asks me to take pheras with her while Neeti being there. Neeti asks what is he thinking? Rajiv says I am thinking how we will do it in front of Biji. Neeti says its okay, Pari will figure something out. She kisses his forehead and asks him to relax. Pari looks away seeing them close. She says I will leave, she goes from there. Neeti says what happened to her? Rajiv says I am sleepy. Neeti says its our special day so lets spend time together, Rajiv says its late, he goes to sleep.
Scene 2
Pari is crying alone in her room. Rajiv is hugging Neeti on the bed but can’t sleep. Pari comes to the garden and recalls how Rajiv and Neeti were romancing. She cries and says it was my decision to stay away from Rajiv then why I am feeling pain? I have no right on him so why this much pain? I wish I could tell him how much I love him, I know he loves Neeti and he destroyed my life but I still love him, his love has weaken me so much that I can’t stop crying for him.. she says no, I am here for Neeti so I won’t be weak for Rajiv.
In the morning, Pari is getting ready when Babli comes there and asks her to wear bright colors. Pari says who should I dress up for? I have no one to show off to. Babli says you can get ready for yourself, you don’t need to do everything for others, you did enjoy life before Rajiv also? Rajiv comes there and says she is right, you should have a life of your own. What happened was not your fault but the fate got twisted so try to move on. Pari says I can’t do all this, I am here because of helplessness, I am doing all this for others only, my story has already ended. Rajiv says then get ready for Biji at least. Pari looks away and says okay. Babli leaves. Pari says I am sorry about Babli, Rajiv says its okay and leaves. Biji comes there and asks Pari why is she sad? Pari says its nothing. Biji says I want this Lohri to only bring happiness, she gives her a bright dress and says this is my gift for you, it was my first lohri dress so I got it for you. Pari thinks I can’t tell her that I am lying to her.
