Scene 1
Gurinder says all men don’t fast but try to eat ou sargi. Ilahi thanks God for giving her a chance to fast for Ilahi. Pami says pari you also come eat with us. The men aren’t fast either but they’re also eating. You can also eat. Chandrika says come. Salojna says she’s not fasting. Pami says so aren’t men. Let her eat. Pami sits with them. Pami gives Neeti and Chandrika shagun. Neeti wonders if Pari isn’t fasting for real. Sanju says Neeti if you’re fasting for the family then don’t. She says you don’t tell me what to do. Sanju says I was worried. She says care for Pari not me. I dont’ need your care. He says you’re not well. She says I will fast. It’s part of our culture. It doesn’t mean I’ve forgiven you. Pari hears it.

Salojna comes to Gurinder and says do you really think Pari isn’t fasting? Open your eyes. Sanju has 2 wives. Gurinder says I only have one DIL, Neeti. Salojna says that doesn’t change the truth. Pami comes to Pari. She gives her shagun as well. Pami says I didn’t give it to you. She says it’s for the DILs. Pami says you’re th DIL of this house as well and you’re my daughter. My prayers are always with you. Pari says no. i am not your DIL, I am your daughter. Pami says but you’re our DIL as well. Neeti has her own place. Pari says but.. She says don’t think too much. Everything will be fine.

Neeti’s head hurts. She says I can’t even take medicine. She looks for the balm. Sanju says take medicine. She says I am fasting. He says sorry my mistake. She says you only do all mistakes me with me. Sanju massages her head with balm. Neeti cries. She gets up. Sanju holds her hand. Pari prays for sanju and Neeti. She says when this child comes to this world. I hope his parents are all in love. Gurinder says come with me. Pari. She says sit here. She gives her food. Gurinder says you’re pregnant. You shouldn’t stay hungry. Pari says but.. Gurinder says you are not fasting then eat it. Pari gets worried. Gurinder says eat. Pami comes and collides with Gurinder. Food spills on her dress. Pami says come let me help you clean it.

Sanju says look in my eyes and tell me if you don’t trust me. I told you everything. Neeti leaves in anger. Gurinder comes to Pari and says you didn’t eat. you never listen to me. We’ve to take care of this child. When I care for you, you always decline. The food is gona. Pari says I ate already. Gurinder says good. Pari hid the food. Gurinder says you ate so quickly. Pari says I can’t break this fast
