Dharma says why isn’t Ashok waking up? Anandi says he must have fainted because of the fire fumes. Ashok wakes up and is shocked seeing the fire. He tells Dharma that how could the fire burndown our house? I am sure someone was behind it. Dharma says just be thankful that we are all okay. Our Lakshmi saved us today. Anandi says Kaurwaki saved you today. Ashok is surprised and says what? you hate me and would want me to die burning so why did you save me? Kaurwaki says you are right, I would rather let you die in the fire but Devi wouldn’t have let that happen, she would have died saving you. It wasn’t me but Devi who saved you, she fulfilled all her promises as your wife and not me. Devi smirks and recalls the flashback of how Devi told Kaurwaki that she saved Ashok’s life so he will love her now. Kaurwaki told her that she would have done the same for any animal and I saved him as a human. Devi said I wish I had saved his life. Kaurwaki says nobody saw me saving his life so you can lie and tell him that you saved his life. I don’t want any credit so you can take it. Devi said I can’t lie like this. Kaurwaki says I hate him and I don’t want him under any of my debt, he is yours so we can tell this lie. Devi agreed. The flashback ends. Ashok smiles at Devi and says our marriage was a deal but you have saved my life and made me indebted to you. You are not just a queen of this place but a queen of my heart now. He sits on his knees and holds her hand. Devi smiles. Ashok says how could I not wake up when my house was burning? how could I not wake up? I always have a light sleep. The servant says I saw Kaurwaki mixing sleeping pills in your milk. Ashok is shocked and asks if that’s the truth? Kaurwaki says yes, it was the truth.
The snake man and his gang members enter Bindusar’s palace with their snake. Bindusar comes out of his room and the snake man hypnotizes him. Bindusar starts following them silently.
Helena sees Ashok’s house burning from the balcony, Dayana says Devi followed what you told her to. Helena says I am going to get everything from Devi soon.
Kaurwaki tells Ashok that she mixed sleeping pills in his milk. Ashok says how dare you? Devi cries in pain and says my hand got burned while saving Ashok. Ashok tells Kaurwaki that he will deal with her later on, he takes Devi to the doctor.
Helena wakes up with some alarm. She goes to check. Subhandhu says Bindusar is missing from the palace. Helena is shocked.
Ashok gets the ointment from the doctor and applies it on Devi’s wound. He says you put your life in danger for me, you can ask for anything from me. Devi says it wasn’t a favour to be returned. Ashok says you can ask for anything. Devi says I want Kaurwaki to be gone from your house and from Magadh. Ashok is shocked and says how dare you? Devi says I doubt sometimes if you really hate Kaurwaki. Ashok says I hate her so much, I married her to torture her for life. Devi says how will you torture her? you respect women and can never attack them so how will you torture her? you can never make her cry. It seems like you are tied to her and can’t hurt her. You can say you are strong and don’t feel love but I know you have love in your heart. Ashok says enough.. don’t forget our marriage was a deal. Devi says I know that, you married me because you wanted to get the throne but Kaurwaki has distracted you from your mission. You have to let her go to focus on your mission. Ashok says I won’t let her go at any cost. Devi says you promised to give me anything. Ashok says you are selfish. Devi says I am selfless, I saved your life. Why do you want to punish Kaurwaki so much? Ashok says I hate her. Devi says maybe you love her deeply and can’t let her go.
Udit tells Kaurwaki to apologize to Ashok, he has a big heart and will forgive you. Kaurwaki says he has blinded you. Ashok comes back with Devi. Ashok tells Kaurwaki to pack her bags and go back to Kaling. Kaurwaki is surprised and says this is your punishment? you want to free me as a punishment? Devi says my saviour has asked this as a reward. Devi asked me for that. Dharma comes there and asks what’s going on? Devi says I know Kaurwaki doesn’t want to be tied to Ashok so I asked for her freedom as her friend. Kaurwaki hugs her and says you could have asked for anything but you asked for my freedom, you are such a good friend. Devi says you were suffocated here so I asked for your freedom. She hugs her and thinks Ashok will be mine now.
In the morning, Kaurwakiis leaving and Dharma is sad. She says nobody respects me and my relationships. My husband left me years ago and now you guys do whatever you want to. Kaurwaki says my heart is hurt leaving you. Ashok shouts that you are a liar, you made my mother get attached to you and now you want to leave while hurting her. Dharma tells him to stop it, this is all happening because of you. Ashok says she has a stone heart. Kaurwaki says I hate him, I have to leave now. She takes Udit from there and starts leaving. Ashok glares at her.
The episode ends.
