Scene 1

Soldiers are running behind Ashok, he finds Devika and pulls her aside, he says I am your future, she sees the arrow with him and says you re Bhadrak? you are very pretty. Ashok says we will run away from here. He pulls her to a room and says this is a good place. Devika finds real Bhadrak sitting with Uma. He tells Uma that he doesn’t care about Devika, he is just marrying her for wealth, you will be with me even after marriage. Devika is shocked and says that’s Bhadrak? Ashok takes her from there before Bhadrak can see them. Ashok tells Devika that he has to leave before her soldiers catch him, Devika says who are you but Ashok leaves. Kaurwaki is passing by so Ashok stares at her and leaves.

In the morning, Ashok tells Sushim that his father would be very angry to know that you lost this competition. Sushim says at least he looks at me unlike you. Devika and Kaurwaki arrive there. Devika glares at Bhadrak as she approaches him with a garland. She passes by him and makes Ashok wear the garland instead, all are shocked. The flashback shows how Ashok told Devika that his is Magadh’s Prince Ashok, Devika says you have a bad repo, what do you want from me? Ashok says if you choose me in Sawamvar then I will bring the world to you. The flashback ends. Devika tells everyone that she is going to choose Ashok as her husband, she asks if he accepts her as his wife? Ashok nods and bows to her. Padmanabhan says this is cheating with us, we didn’t invite Ashok, it was just Sushim that was invited, he isn’t even a prince. Devika says I don’t care, I have chosen a right person. Bhadrak says I won the competition, he trapped Devika. Kaurwaki tells Devika that this man is cruel and shameless. Devika says sometimes what we see is not the truth but what’s hidden from us. I have a right to choose my own partner and nobody can argue that. Padmanabhan says if its Devika’s decision then we will accept it. Bhadrak leaves. Devika tells Kaurwaki to bring the sindoor she promised her. Kaurwaki brings it and glares at Ashok, he smirks at her and flicks it at Devika but it falls on Kaurwaki’s face. Ashok says I am sorry, he wipes it but says I can’t remove it, you can wipe it later on. Devika hugs Ashok and smiles while Kaurwaki looks on.

Sushim asks Ashok what’s going on? why did Devika choose you? Ashok says you should be happy that we saved Magadh’s honor. He leaves.

Ashok’s friend asks him how did he win over Devika’s heart? you agreed to marry Devika but you applied sindoor to Kaurwaki? Ashok says I chose Devi because she is going to help me get Magadh’s throne, Devika has love for power like me. I applied sindoor to Kaurwaki because she had put knife on me so I wanted to take revenge, there is something about her. His friend says she will kill you. Ashok says I will happily die from a pretty lady like her.

Kaurwaki is trying to wipe sindoor but can’t.. she says what if we have a connection for lives as its a special sindoor? I hate that man.

Bhadrak tells Uma that Ashok spoiled his plan but I will find out who helped him. The flashback shows how Ashok talked to Uma and told her that he knows about their affair so she has to help him if she wants Bhadrak for herself only. The flashback ends.

Uma comes to Ashok and says Bhadrak can’t find out that I helped you in all this. Kaurwaki comes there so Ashok leaves. Kaurwaki goes behind him, he stops and says sindoor looks nice on you. Kaurwaki angry leaves. She goes to Uma and asks why is she sad these day? is there a guy in her life? Uma looks on. Bhadrak comes there so Uma gets scared and leaves. Bhadrak thinks to take care of Uma soon.

Bindusar gets a letter with an update about the competition and how Ashok was chosen by Devika. Jayana says how could Ashok win? Sushim wanted to win this competition, Chanakya smirks and thinks Ashok protected our honor but took his revenge too.
