Pratigya 25th January 2011 Written Update
Kesar comes down the stairs accompanied by the voice of SS tartly commenting that Kesar is leaving of her own free will, ..But Amma will not let her go so easily , she needs to add her two bit to Kesar, She moves menacingly towards a poised and determined Kesar and with a scowl on her face asks sarcastically whether she is implementing all the teachings of Pratigya, she further wonders whether Kesar has any sense of shame, does not she even feel a ounce of guilt for sending her own Husband to prison..Amma is losing her patience and is getting violent, she grabs Kesar and begin to shake her and shout at her simultaneously ..Kesar faces all this barrages stoically..
Krishna intercedes and delivers a few bitter truth’s..he is surprised that his mother did not bat an eye when Kesar was buried alive , but cannot bear the thought of a murderer going to prison for his deeds..Sajjan Singh further rubs the salt on Kesar’s wounds by openly wondering, where will she turn to, since her parents house have never even bothered to inquire about her, Ghanti Dadi shuts up Sajan Singh by saying that God will be with weak..It is now Pratigya’s turn to stop Kesar from moving out [10 mins, and Kesar has not moved an inch !!] But Kesar declines Pratigya’s counsel and proceeds to take Amma’s Ashirwaad which is not forthcoming [ Consider yourself Lucky Kesar]..Pratigya takes the blessing of Kesar [ Today Appears to be a day of Bless fest in TN house] Kesar says it is she who must seek Pratigya’s blessing’s cos her words and advise have motivated her and she is now all set to embark on a different path.Pratigya offers to come and drop Kesar at the Bus Station , but her intentions are brought to an abrupt halt by the words of Sajjan Singh who coldly informs Pratigya that once she steps out of the house, she will not be allowed back in…Kesar gently tells Pratigya to stay back , She adds that Krishna loves her very much , so never to cross the threshold of TN house.[In other words , don’t do any such thing that might hurt him]..Kesar[Finally] starts progressing towards the door..when another voice stops her ….This time it is Aarushi..Aarushi informs Kesar that she will give company to Kesar [ Poor Kesar, jaathe jaathe Souten hi milli, issko company dene keliye].
Amma is stunned by the declaration of Aarushi, she threatens Aarushi but is told to shut up by Ghanti Daadi, who says Aarushi is neither the wife of Shakthi nor is she the Daughter in law of this house..So she is free to go..She also forgives Aarushi for her Mistake…Aarushi and Pratigya exchange Hugs…Aarushi and Kesar walk out of TN…
Amma who will be watching their walk out will collapse.. all the members of TN are lost in deep thought, their reverie is broken by a scratching sound, Krishna who is the first to be alerted to the sound,turns and sees Amma grinding lentils on the stone grinder..Amma is rotating the stone grinder slowly , it goes slow-slow-slow giving the rhythm to Amma’s chatter, Amma starts slowly and so does the Stone grinder..Amma says that Pratigya is the devil incarnate, she has come to destroy the house and its peace and happiness…Amma gets a bit fast, The stone grinder gets fast too, Amma casts a fearful look mingled with loathing at Pratigya and says,because of her My Daughter’s in law left, The Stone grinder gets faster..faster, faster, because of her , My son is in the prison..The Grinder goes faster-faster-faster-faster-faster.. I am scared of her..She implores God to kill Pratigya …The Grinder fairly begins to zoom like a motor wheel..but Amma is not finished..Amma says that she is fairly certain that Pratigya will kill her too..and in a frenzy she throws out all the lentils and begins to sob bitterly lamenting at her fate, her son ..Pratigya watches this with tears in her eyes…

Kesar has left the house and reached the Bus station , there she is overcome by Fainting spell and falls down unconscious..Luckily she is seen By Shyam Saxena and Adarsh.
