Here’s wishing all Trinis a Happy Emancipation Day.
Have a good day tomorrow and a wonderful weekend and please people, try and be safe out there especially on the roads.

I’m saying this because I am so saddened by the three deaths of father/mother/son. When I read the article yesterday, tears came to my eyes. Today again, tears came to my eyes. The son had three months to live. I said why does God do this kind of thing but my office colleague said it was not God but man himself who snuffed the boy’s life along with his parents.
    Just couldn’t read the article.

    So guys….please be safe.
    Much love to all.

Oh Lenor dear, I know how you feel, the police men cried when they went there, big men cried like babies, so sad, but we must look at the positive side in order to console ourselves, look at it this way, no more suffering for that poor boy, he was suffering, maybe it was in the fate of the parents also to spared a miserable life without their beloved son, so it was fated that they leave this world together. It is sad of course, but we must take everything as Gods blessings, we do not understand the His ways. It easy for me to preach, because I am not in that situation.
May their soul rest in peace in the loving arms of The Lord.

Thanks Amaica, for the lemon tips, it is so hard to get the rough skin lemon, that’s the best one with all the healing properties, I understand all citrus has those properties, not only lemon. I must start using it more.
Did not buy my vermicelli earlier, the grocery JTA Carlton centre, ran out, so not making any 🙁

    Sermon Humor:

Not Afraid of the Devil-One Sunday just as the choir was getting seated in the loft Satan appeared standing in front of the pulpit. Everyone starts screaming and running for the front entrance, trampling each other in their determined efforts to get away from Evil Incarnate. Soon, everyone is evacuated from the church except for one man, who sit calmly in his pew, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God’s ultimate enemy is in his presence. This confuses Satan a bit. Satan walks up to the man and says, “Hey, don’t you know who I am?” The man says, “Yep, sure do.”Satan says, “Well, aren’t you afraid of me?” The man says, “Nope, sure ain’t.”Satan, perturbed, says, “And why aren’t you afraid of me?” The man says, “Well, I’ve been married to your sister for 25 years.”

    The Lord’s Service?
A friend was in front of me coming out of church one day, and the preacher was standing at the door as he always is to shake hands. He grabbed my friend by the hand and pulled him aside. The Pastor said to him, “You need to join the Army of the Lord!” My friend replied, “I’m already in the Army of the Lord, Pastor.” Pastor questioned, “How come I don’t see you except at Christmas and Easter?” He whispered back, “I’m in the secret service.

    Help for the Sick
An eight year old girl was in church with her mother when she started feeling ill. “Mommy, I think I have to throw up!” “Then go out the front door and around to the back of the church and throw up behind a bush.” In about two minutes the little girl returned to her seat. “Did you throw up?” her mother asked. “Yes” the little girl replied. “Well, how could you have gone all the way to the back of the church and return so quickly?” “I didn’t have to go out of the church, Mommy” the little girl replied, “They have a box next to the front door that says “Help For The Sick”.

    The Lord Provides
An elderly lady was well-known for her faith and for her boldness in talking about it. She would stand on her front porch and shout “PRAISE THE LORD!”Next door to her lived an atheist who would get so angry at her proclamations he would shout, “There ain’t no Lord!!”Hard times set in on the elderly lady, and she prayed for GOD to send her some assistance. She stood on her porch and shouted “PRAISE THE LORD. GOD I NEED FOOD!! I AM HAVING A HARD TIME. PLEASE LORD, SEND ME SOME GROCERIES!!”The next morning the lady went out on her porch and noted a large bag of groceries and shouted, “PRAISE THE LORD.”The neighbor jumped from behind a bush and said, “Aha! I told you there was no Lord. I bought those groceries, God didn’t.”The lady started jumping up and down and clapping her hands and said, “PRAISE THE LORD. He not only sent me groceries, but He made the devil pay for them. Praise the Lord!..

    The Blind Man
A pastors wife was taking a shower one day and she heard the door bell ring, she yelled “Who is it?”And the person ringing the door bell yelled, “I’m the blind man.”So she got out of the shower and wrapped her hair in a towel, she didn’t bother putting a towel around herself because the person behind the door was blind. She opened the door and said, “What do you want?”, and the man said, “I’m here to check your blinds.”

    The Poor Preacher
The Baptist preacher just finished his sermon for the day and proceeded toward the back of the church for his usual greetings and handshaking as the congregation left the church. After shaking a few adult hands he came upon the seven year old son of one of the Deacons of the church. “Good morning, Jonathan,” the preacher said as he reached out to shake Joanthan’s hand. As he was doing do he felt something in the palm of Jonathan’s hand. “What’s this?” the preacher asked. “Money,” said Jonathan with a big smile on his face, “It’s for you!” “I don’t want to take your money, Jonathan,” the preacher answered. “I want you to have it,” said Jonathan. After a short pause Jonathan continued, “My daddy says you’re the poorest preacher we ever had and I want to help you.”

Lemon is so blessed with natural healing properties that no part of it should go to waste. Lemons have many widely known uses, adding a refreshing zest to your water, cleaning household items, and adding flavor to numerous dishes.

However, many people only consider using its juice and pulp. If you’re only using the juice and discarding the peel, you may be missing out.

So what are the major advantages of using the whole lemon?

      1. It gives you more vitamins.

Lemon peels contain as much as 5 to 10 times more vitamins than the lemon juice itself. To name a few: Vitamin C, Vitamin A, beta carotene, folate, calcium, magnesium, and potassium.

      2. It helps in fighting cancer.

Lemon peels are health rejuvenators in eradicating toxic elements in the body. This means that lemon peels help rid the body of carcinogenic elements. Lemon peels consists of components known as salvestrol Q40 and limonene, which are known to fight against cancerous cells in the body. Also, the flavonoids present in the peel are known to be effective when it comes to curbing the division of cancerous cells.

Therefore, consumption of lemon peel is known to be a preventive measure against development of various types of cancers including breast cancer, colon cancer, and skin cancer. A study revealed that consumption of hot tea with lemon peel has proved to be beneficial in preventing the development of cancer cells.

      3. It improves bone health.

Lemon peels have lots of calcium and Vitamin C. Consuming lemon peels will help prevent osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory polyarthritis, and other bone conditions.

      4. It decreases cholesterol levels.

Digesting lemon peels will help lower the LDL cholesterol, or the bad cholesterol through its polyphenol flavonoids. Vitamin C and vitamin P help in clearing the blood vessels, preventing or minimizing the risks of developing the interrelated conditions like high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetic heart disease.

      That’s what we’ve been wasting!

Here’s a tip on how to use more lemon peels in your diet:

Freeze whole, organic lemons and keep them in your freezer. Then grate the sprinkles of lemon peel over your meals, in your drinks, and on your soups for a fresh flavor and a bit of the lengthy list of benefits above.

Value relationships in time – before you realize and the time is too late

It was their anniversary, and Aisha was waiting for her husband Rajiv to show up. Things had changed since their marriage, the once cute couple couldn’t-live-without-each-other had turned bitter.

Fighting over every little things, both didn’t like the way things had changed. Aisha was waiting to see if Rajiv remembered it was their anniversary!

Just as the door bell rang she ran to find her husband wet and smiling with a bunch of flowers in his hand. The two started re-living the old days. Making up for fights, then was d plan for champagne, light music And it was raining outside! It was perfect.

But the moment paused when the phone in the bedroom rang.

Aisha went to pick it up and it was a man. “Hello ma’am I’m calling from the police station. Is this Mr Rajiv Mehra’s number?”

      “Yes it is!”

“I’m sorry ma’am; but there was an accident and a man died. We got this number from his wallet; we need you to come and identify his body.”

Aisha’s heart sank.!!! She was shocked! But my husband is here with me?”

“Sorry ma’am, but the incident took place at 2 pm, when he was boarding the train.”

Aisha was about to lose her conscience. How could this happen?!

She had heard about the soul of the person coming to meet a loved one before it leaves!

She ran into the other room. He was not there. It was true! had left her for good!!

Oh God she would have died for another chance to mend every little fight! She rolled on the floor in pain. She lost her chance! Forever!

Suddenly there was a noise from the bathroom, the door opened and Rajiv came out and said “Darling, I forgot to tell you my wallet got stolen today”.

LIFE MIGHT NOT GIVE YOU A SECOND CHANCE. SO NEVER WASTE A MOMENT WHEN YOU CAN STILL MAKE UP FOR YOUR WRONGS!!!

      Let’s start making amends.

      To parents
      To siblings
      To friends
      And many more.

No one has a promised tomorrow. Have a wonderful Life with no regrets!

      Morning To All,

A Heart Touching Story ~ I Wish You Enough

Recently, I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport as the daughter’s departure had been announced. Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the mother said: “I love you and I wish you enough.”

The daughter replied, “Mom, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Mom.” They kissed and the daughter left.

The mother walked over to the window where I sat. Standing there, I could see she wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on her privacy but she welcomed me in by asking, “Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?” “Yes, I have,” I replied. “Forgive me for asking but why is this a forever good-bye?”

“I am old and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is the next trip back will be for my funeral,” she said. When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, “I wish you enough.” May I ask what that means?”

She began to smile. “That’s a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone.” She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail and she smiled even more.

“When we said ‘I wish you enough’ we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them”. Then turning toward me, she shared the following, reciting it from memory,

“I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.”
She then began to cry and walked away.

Nurture Relationships…..As they say….It takes a minute to find a special person ~ An hour to appreciate them ~ A day to love them ~ And then an entire life to forget them.

      Thoughts to Contemplate – Reflect – Discover – Explore – Inspire & Enrich Yourself…

I have read this story many times, each time it brings tears to my eyes, even this time,

Really heart touching! Read it PLEASE though its too long!

I was walking around in a Big Bazar store making shopping, when I saw
a Cashier talking to a boy couldn’t have been more than 5 or 6 years
    old..

The Cashier said, ‘I’m sorry, but you don’t have enough money to buy
this doll. Then the little boy turned to me and asked: ”Uncle, are
you sure I don’t have enough money?”

I counted his cash and replied: ”You know that you don’t have enough
money to buy the doll, my dear.” The little boy was still holding the
    doll in his hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give
this doll to. ‘It’s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so
much . I wanted to Gift her for her BIRTHDAY.

I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my
sister when she goes there.’ His eyes were so sad while saying this.
‘My Sister has gone to be with God.. Daddy says that Mommy is going to
see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with
her to give it to my sister…”

My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said: ‘I
told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I
come back from the mall.’ Then he showed me a very nice photo of him
where he was laughing. He then told me ‘I want mommy to take my
picture with her so my sister won’t forget me.’ ‘I love my mommy and I
wish she doesn’t have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go
to be with my little sister.’ Then he looked again at the doll with
    sad eyes, very quietly.

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. ‘Suppose we check
again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll?”

‘OK’ he said, ‘I hope I do have enough.’ I added some of my money to
his with out him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough
for the doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said: ‘Thank you God for giving me enough money!’

Then he looked at me and added, ‘I asked last night before I went to
sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so
that mommy could give It to my sister. He heard me!” ‘I also wanted
to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn’t
dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll
and a white rose. My mommy loves white roses.’

I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I
started. I couldn’t get the little boy out of my mind. Then I
    remembered a local
news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a
truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The
little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical
state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the
life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to
recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news
paper that the young woman had passed away.. I couldn’t stop myself as
I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where
the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make
last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a
beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and
the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling
that my life had been changed for ever…

The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is
still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a
drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta all set for a five year leap
Posted on Jul 24, 2014 in Pavitra Rishta | 3 comments | Post a commment

All seems to be well again on the set of Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta (Balaji Telefilms), with the leading lady Ankita Lokhande getting a huge monetary hike, as desired, as per sources. Now, the show is all set for a five year leap in the first week of August.

Well, the storyline will take some interesting turn which will keep viewers glued.

The happy news is that Naren and Pari will be blessed with a kid, while Ankita will be left crying over her past life.

A source states that in the post leap storyline, Naren (Karan Mehra) will have new problems to deal with. On one hand, he will have issues in his professional space, with his company running at a loss. He will be monetarily troubled. At the same time, his wife Pari (Ruhee Bagga) will start to have problems with his laid-back attitude. She will be upset over the fact that Naren does not want to push himself to give a better living to his family. She will be livid that Naren spends quality time with his kid.

On the other hand, Ankita (Ankita Lokhande) will continue to live with Ranvijay (Mukul Harish), the man who has been her saviour ever since she left Naren. The interesting development in these five years will be that Ranvijay would have developed a liking for Ankita.

How will the story move ahead?
We tried contacting Mukul and Karan Mehra, but they remained unavailable.

Get ready for yet another story forward in the long-running show Pavitra Rishta.

I feel like im being punished for having faith in these idiots still 😐

      Very Emotional Heart Touching Story..

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water.

She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk He drankit slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe you?” “You don’t owe me anything,” she replied “Mother has taught us never to accept payment for a kindness.”
He said… “Then I thank you from my heart.”

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt; stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.
Years later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation.

When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor’s gown he went in to see her.

He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case.
After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval.

He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it,for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for
it all. Finally, she looked, and something caught herattention on the side as she read these words…… ” Paid in full with one glass of milk.” (Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly.
Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: “Thank You, GOD, that Your love has spread abroad through human hearts.

      Heart touching inspirational story…

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday. He climbed to the treetop, ate the apples, and took a nap under the shadow.

He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by, the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day.

One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.
“Come and play with me”, the tree asked the boy.

“I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees any more” the boy replied.

“I want toys. I need money to buy them.”

“Sorry, but I do not have money, but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.”

The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.

One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned and the tree was excited.

“Come and play with me” the tree said.

“I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?”

“Sorry, but I do not have any house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.” So the man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted.

“Come and play with me!” the tree said.

“I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?” said the man.

“Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.”

So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.

Finally, the man returned after many years. “Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you”, the tree said. “No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite” the
      man replied.

“No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old for that now” the man said. “I really cannot give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with tears.

“I do not need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years,” the man replied.

“Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest, come sit down with me and rest.” The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.

This is a story of everyone. The tree is like our parents. When we were young, we loved to play with our Mum and Dad. When we grow up, we leave them; only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could just to make you happy.

You may think the boy is cruel to the tree, but that is how all of us treat our parents. We take them for granted; we don’t appreciate all they do for us, until it’s too late. story by Shel Silverstein

~ Moral ~ Treat your parents with loving care…. For you will know their value, when you see their empty chair…We never know the love of our parents for us; till we have become parents .

      “Difference in Love and Marriage”…

A student asks a teacher, “What is love?”

The teacher said, “in order to answer your question, go to the wheat field and choose the biggest wheat and
      come back.

But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.”

The student went to the field, g0 through first row, he saw one big wheat, but he wonders… may be there is a bigger one later.

Then he saw another bigger one… But may be there is an even bigger one waiting for him.

Later, when he finished more than half of the wheat field, he start to realize that the wheat is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted.

So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, “this is love… You keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person…”

“What is marriage then?” the student asked.

The teacher said, “in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and
come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.”

The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher.
The teacher told him, “This time you bring back a corn. You look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get… This is marriage.”

“Why We Shout In Anger” ~ A short story on Relationships

A Hindu saint who was visiting river Ganges to take bath found a group of family members on the banks, shouting in anger at each other. He turned to his disciples smiled ‘n asked. ‘Why do people shout in anger shout at each other?’

Disciples thought for a while, one of them said, ‘Because we lose our calm, we shout.’ ‘But, why should you shout when the other person is just next to you? You can as well tell him what you have to say in a soft manner.’ asked the saint.

Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the other disciples.

Finally the saint explained, . ‘When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other.

The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other to cover that great distance.

What happens when two people fall in love? They don’t shout at each other but talk softly, Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is either nonexistent or very small…’ The saint continued, ‘When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper ‘n they get even closer to each other in their love.

Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other ‘n that’s all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.’

He looked at his disciples ‘n said. ‘So when you argue do not let your hearts get distant, Do not say words that distance each other more, Or else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return.’

A BEAUTIFUL WAY OF LOOKING AT THINGS.

A Father was reading a magazine and his little daughter every now and then distracted him. To keep her busy, he tore one page on which was printed the map of the world. He tore it into pieces and asked her to go to her room and put them together to make the map again.

He was sure she would take the whole day to get it done. But the little one came back within minutes with perfect map……When he asked how she could do it so quickly, she said, “Oh…. Dad, there is a man’s face on the other side of the paper….. I made the face perfect to get the map right.” She ran outside to play leaving the father surprised.

      MORAL OF THE STORY:
There is always the other side to whatever you experience in this world. Whenever we come across a challenge or a puzzling situation, look at the other side…. You will be surprised to see an easy way to tackle the problem.

      A POUND OF BUTTER

There was a farmer who sold a pound of butter to the baker. One day the baker decided to weigh the butter to see if he was getting a pound and he found that he was not. This angered him and he took the farmer to court. The judge asked the farmer if he was using any measure. The farmer replied, amour Honor, I am primitive. I don’t have a proper measure, but I do have a scale.” The judge asked, “Then how do you weigh the butter?” The farmer replied “Your Honor, long before the baker started buying butter from me, I have been buying a pound loaf of bread from him. Every day when the baker brings the bread, I put it on the scale and give him the same weight in butter. If anyone is to be blamed, it is the baker.”
What is the moral of the story?

” We get back in life what we give to others.”

Whenever you take an action, ask yourself this question: Am I giving fair value for the wages or money I hope to make? Honesty and dishonesty become a habit. Some people practice dishonesty and can lie with a straight face. Others lie so much that they don’t even know what the truth is anymore. But who are they deceiving? Themselves.

Blessed are those that can give without remembering and take without forgetting.

      —–

To Give more than one receives, in any aspect of life, itself requires a large heart…And when one can do so without boasting, or without a sense of pride, than the person is indeed blessed, for he does not carry any burden of expectation and derives satisfaction and peace from within …

And on the other side, how many truly carry a deep sense of gratitude so as to truly remember when they receive.. More often than not we forget, don’t we? … And If you do not forget easily, even the small acts of favor, consider yourself blessed, the grace is with you

      Wonderful story;The Secret Of Marriage

There was once a man and woman who had been married for many years. They had shared everything. They had talked about everything. They kept no secrets from each other — except that the woman had a shoe box in the top of her closet that she cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about.

For all of these years, he had never thought about the box, but one day the woman got very sick and the doctor said it was serious.
In trying to sort out their affairs, the little man took down the shoebox and took it to his wife’s bedside. She agreed that it was time that he should know what was in the box. When he opened it, he found two crocheted doilies and a stack of money totaling $25,000.

“When we were to be married,” she said, explaining the contents of the box, “my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage was to never argue. She told me that if I ever got angry with you, I should just keep quiet and crochet a doily.”

The little old man was so moved, he had to fight back tears. Only two precious doilies were in the box. She had only been angry with him two times in all those years of living and loving! He almost burst with happiness.

“Honey,” he said “that explains the doilies, but what about all of this money? Where did it come from?”

“Oh,” she said, “that’s the money I made from selling the doilies.”

      Famous Bill Gates quotes

      1) If you show people the problems and you show people the solutions they will be moved to act.

      2) This is a fantastic time to be entering the business world, because business is going to change more in the next 10 years than it has in the last 50.

      3) Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking they can’t lose.

      4) Life is not fair; get used to it.

      5) We always overestimate the change that will occur in the next two years and underestimate the change that will occur in the next ten. Don’t let yourself be lulled into inaction.

      6) If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1000 MPG.

      7) It’s fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure.

Like almost everyone who uses e-mail, I receive a ton of spam every day. Much of it offers to help me get out of debt or get rich quick. It would be funny if it weren’t so exciting.

      9) If I’d had some set idea of a finish line, don’t you think I would have crossed it years ago?

      10) People always fear change. People feared electricity when it was invented, didn’t they?

The story of a blind girl ~ True Love

There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, “now that you can see the world, will you marry me?”

The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying:
“Just take care of my eyes dear.”
This is how human brain changes when the status changed. Only few remember what life was before, and who’s always been there even in the most painful situations.

Yea Suni, this is Kali Yug indeed, and things will definitely get worse and worse as we see it daily.
Today a man pleaded guilty to holding and hugging an 8 yr old girl squeezing her bottom, he was sentenced to 6 months hard labor, he should have gotten more time, but he has other similar charges pending so later on the punishment will be more severe, this is the just the first conviction. and yes Hinds was in court, not in the case, but was looking on in awe at the handling of this matter. some other judge and he woulda been walking a free man. It is sickening indeed and too much stress.
the jamaican ras is n ext week will keep up updated on that one, but most likely he being sent up to the high court to be tried before a judge and jury, this is just the preliminary so he cannot be sentenced in ths court.

Kris …Suni is absolutely correct.. Calypsonians sing degrading songs
about women and they dance to it..This morning Prof. Anil Kumar was
Invites by the Ministry of Education..To address principals of the nation..
But I think they should address the parents also… How much can the
Government do..Where have the value system gone.. I agree with
Suni castrate a few… Get serious like the Middle East..where crime /
      offenders are concern.
The drug matter with the Jamaican.. They have a serious problem at hand.
Authorities have to curb this thing else our children’s future will be dim.
People have to protest… Government make careless decisions ..
      Citizens pay the price..

SJ… Thanks so very much for your encouragement.
      Once women are
sexual active it’s imperative that they do annual PS and Mamogrammes.
Kris , we live in a country of reactors
who only try to solve things after the sh## has hit the ceiling fan . But , this problem is not systemic it seems , but rather , it’s more endemic .
The Mahabharata speaks about Kali Yuga and I grew up hearing elders speak of it ; I shudder to think that I’ll become an elder , and still be hearing about it . I also wonder about what manner of men are these , who can do such atrocities . I once heard a case involving a mother helping such abuse upon her daughter . It sickens us , churns our stomach and I can’t think of any reason other than this being the work of the devil himself to destroy young people , deprive them of their innocence and inner peace .
The first 3 years of a child’s life is of utmost importance to development .
A baby is born with tabula rasa or a clean slate ; some say they have original sin , meaning the sin of all man that was passed on since Adam and Eve’s time . .. So how , when , why do they become monsters ? Something is rotten at the core of parenting in Trinidad . I see mothers at bars with babies in carriages . I see little babes in bikinis gyrating in front of amused and encouraging parents . I see mothers pushing prams on the streets of Carnival Monday and Tuesday . I once saw , with my own eyes , a mother leaving her child in the waiting area at T.G.I. and going to the bar and it wasn’t a very young mother either .
Fitz Gerald speaks a lot of crap , but one thing he said , a long time ago , still resonates in my mind . He said to observe a female dog with her young , if someone tries to take one she’ll snarl and bare her teeth and attack if necessary . He said mothers must be like that with their children .
I wonder , where has this primal instinct gone from women ? When and why have they become more self oriented than child oriented ? Why are they having children , but having no time to care for them . Why are they choosing the type of men who turn out to be these monsters ?? The west is always trying to change the East , but I think one thing we can learn from them is drastic action where it is necessary . The law here is to lenient on these devils in disguise of men . Castrate just a few and the others will fall in line .
There is a shabby looking man , who walks around with a back pack in Debe , and I once saw him at Cross Crossing where there are the road side eating places . I was told that he sells pornographic material and I suspect that in such a place as ours , child porn would also be in that sack of his . .. I once heard people referring to him as blues for three consecutive years … If results are good ..then stop for two years before doing annual test again.. Is this information accurate SJ..please let our ladies know what are the annual routine checkup for women and
men. So happy to have you here.. I know we can ask you anything relating to health.
