Ek Villain (English: The Villain) is a 2014 Indian action-thriller film directed by Mohit Suri.[1] The film stars Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, and tells the story of a hardened criminal whose terminally ill wife is murdered by a serial killer. The film was produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Entertainment. Upon it’s release on 27 June 2014, the film received mixed reviews from critics,[5][6] but performed exceptionally well at the box office.[2][7]
An unnamed man in a hood murders a young woman, Aisha Verma (Shraddha Kapoor) with a screwdriver, after breaking into her house. At her funeral, a CBI officer, Aditya Rathore (Shaad Randhawa), points out to the police, that it is vital to track down the murderer or else Guru (Sidharth Malhotra), Aisha’s husband, would go on a killing spree. He misguides Guru by blaming Guru’s former boss, a gangster Caeser (Remo Fernandes), for killing Aisha. In a flashback, he reveals that Guru used to work as a hitman for Caeser. Two years back, Guru had mercilessly killed a young man in a fit of anger, in front of his mother and younger brother.
Guru meets Aisha, a free spirited girl in love with life, who requests him to help her with reuniting two aged lovers. They soon become friends and Aisha reveals to him that she is suffering from a terminal illness, and tells him about her bucket list. Guru helps her fulfill most of those wishes but her health deteriorates, and in a last bid to save her, she receives treatment in Mumbai and miraculously recovers. Soon after, they marry and she gets pregnant with a child. In a parallel story, Rakesh Mahadkar (Riteish Deshmukh) is an unsuccessful and henpecked man who is constantly nagged and ridiculed by his wife Sulochana (Aamna Sharif) for being useless and poor. He vents out his frustration by murdering women who speak rudely to him, and Aisha turns out to be one of the victims.
In present day, Guru aims to track down Aisha’s killer. After finding out that it was not Caeser behind the murder, he finally tracks down Rakesh, while he is assaulting another victim. Guru beats him brutally but later admits him to a hospital and pays for the expenses, intending to return back. While assaulting a nurse who had earlier spoken rudely to him, Rakesh is again intercepted by Guru who almost kills him, but revives him again after delivering an adrenaline shot and sets him free. Meanwhile, the police find the truth about Rakesh and take his wife for questioning. Rakesh goes to his friend Brijesh Yadav (Kamaal R Khan), who suggests that Guru must be the husband of one of his victims and is thus taking revenge.
Rakesh, who now knows Guru’s identity taunts him over the phone, before killing Aisha’s father and then surrenders himself to Guru. Rakesh expected Guru to kill him so that he would become a “hero” in the eyes of his wife and everyone else, while Guru would become a “villain”. However, Caesar calls Guru at that moment and says that he has killed Rakesh’s wife and asks Guru to finish off his son. Enraged, Rakesh injures Guru and is about to kill him when he is run over by a car and dies on the spot. Guru later adopts Rakesh’s son and completes the remaining wishes on Aisha’s bucket list.

Hey all, got back last night, tons of washing and packing away, attended 1 yr prayer for my cousin and her husband, got news that their eldest daughter who was ill and in hospital, died, so sad, my eldest cousin eldest daughter,
at least all her kids are grown up and looking after themselves, she is in a better place now, she had a hard life, now her kids are all grown up, she started to enjoy life, got sick and died.

I don’t mind these movies because I’ve grown to realise that India isn’t a place where such scenarios as these are totally make believe . There really does exist a very deep criminal underworld and I think the film industry capitalises on this and likes to create heroes who can save the day through whatever means necessary . The cops are too often corrupt and the vigilante out for justice , by whatever means necessary becomes a hero , because the ones appointed to seek justice are only helping themselves to bribes and are selling themselves to the highest bidder .
I guess being a hit man like Sidarth is here , isn’t exactly a person seeking justice , but it’s a job that he probably had to take to survive . I watched Gunday and I really felt sorry for the boys who grew up to be Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor . They became dons , but with justification .
Even Once Upon a Time In Mumbai showed how Ajay Devgan became what he was and although he was involved in illegal trade he was like our former local don Dole Chadee . He used to support the poor in his community whom the government neglected . Eventually one of his henchmen killed him and he ruled differently and things became the same as it is for us here now , like anarchy ,where everyone thinks that they can be in control , but every day another one dies .
I know I strayed way off , but I think that there is more behind these stories and the violence isn’t non existent , even in reality we are confronted daily with it . .

But , I did solve the mystery of the one that I had written about the abused woman who killed her husband . I had been watching episodes of Dil se Dua and I had seen Janvi and her story had really affected me .

So producer change the whole thing kill every one in show which was a wrong thing too in my openion on the Otherhand gul khan wanted to keep same title and started the brand new show keeping some old acter, see every show’s financial situation is based on TRP and audiance liking , because we as a audiance our liking and disliking make channel’s financials high or low
Each show have their own trp and trp bring stocks and financial high or low QH
Trp was pretty bad so their financial situation are pretty bad ,dud you relize there set is not glammrious set in QH anymore like orig QH set cause of funds can’t afford

You know SJ , I have no respect for actors like , GC , Rishabh Sinha and KSG who couldn’t value the opportunities that were generously handed to them .
Rishabh Sinha leaving QH really threw the show off course . He didn’t give any consideration to the role that he had signed up for .
With regards to KSG , I can’t stand even the look of him . B4 he left QH he really did look like an alcoholic deadbeat . The Zee team were forced to take actions against his irresponsible behavior towards his work . His own wife can’t trust him as even she knows how she got him . I never mourned his absence and I felt really sorry for the way that Raquesh was treated by KSG’s fans . Gk had no choice but to what she did and kill off the Asad character .
I never once came here and said that I miss GC either , since I recognize fully the part he played on PV ending the way it did .
I really admire Surbhi Jyoti , she is a true professional and she has carried that show since it’s inception . I don’t know if she ever missed an episode . I wish her all the best no matter what she does in the future . She isn’t the prettiest actress out but she has a lot of heart .

Yeah , KSG was looking like a man who wanted to get fired , he had no respect for his character . GC’s actions are too methodic and not natural enough . Yes he has soulful eyes , but he doesn’t connect well with his dialogue . KSG is a very good actor ,but I think his hubris had started to emerge in his acting style on QH . He didn’t appear humble and together anymore but rather a bit haughty and frazzled .
Even Kratika was so much better than GC , she took her acting seriously like Surbhi does .
Had there been any lie to the allegations that Zee made against KSG , I think he would have taken legal action against them for slander .
I’ve heard it being said that Karanvir takes a long time with his dialogue .
But , he’s a believable and talented actor . He also has great strength with speaking through his eyes and expressions . He’s a bit short , but he has a strong command of the screen .
His wife Teejay seems unthreatened by Surbhi because Karanvir is not a player .

While assaulting a nurse who had earlier spoken rudely to him, Rakesh is again intercepted by Guru who almost kills him, but revives him again after delivering an adrenaline shot and sets him free. Meanwhile, the police find the truth about Rakesh and take his wife for questioning. Hey all, got back last night, tons of washing and packing away, attended 1 yr prayer for my cousin and her husband, got news that their eldest daughter who was ill and in hospital, died, so sad, my eldest cousin eldest daughter,
at least all her kids are grown up and looking after themselves, she is in a better place now, she had a hard life, now her kids are all grown up, she started to enjoy life, got sick and died.

I don’t mind these movies because I’ve grown to realise that India isn’t a place where such scenarios as these are totally make believe . There really does exist a very deep criminal underworld and I think the film industry capitalises on this and likes to create heroes who can save the day through whatever means necessary . The cops are too often corrupt and the vigilante out for justice , by whatever means necessary becomes a hero , because the ones appointed to seek justice are only helping themselves to bribes and are selling themselves to the highest bidder .
I guess being a hit man like Sidarth is here , isn’t exactly a person seeking justice , but it’s a job that he probably had to take to survive . I watched Gunday and I really felt sorry for the boys who grew up to be Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor . They became dons , but with justification .
Even Once Upon a Time In Mumbai showed how Ajay Devgan became what he was and although he was involved in illegal trade he was like our former local don Dole Chadee . He used to support the poor in his community whom the government neglected . Eventually one of his henchmen killed him and he ruled differently and things became the same as it is for us here now , like anarchy ,where everyone thinks that they can be in control , but every day another one dies .
I know I strayed way off , but I think that there is more behind these stories and the violence isn’t non existent , even in reality we are confronted daily with it . .

Oh workers are not getting their pay from months and QH don’t not have enough funds and are in financial crisis
We as a aufuance are very short temper, if we don’t like any actor being replaced we don’t give a chance to new acter, when KSG left raquesh took over he is a very talented actor, he got haters mail and decide to quite told production house , if audiance are not accepting me will get off
So producer change the whole thing kill every one in show which was a wrong thing too in my openion on the Otherhand gul khan wanted to keep same title and started the brand new show keeping some old acter, see every show’s financial situation is based on TRP and audiance liking , because we as a audiance our liking and disliking make channel’s financials high or low
Each show have their own trp and trp bring stocks and financial high or low QH
Trp was pretty bad so their financial situation are pretty bad ,dud you relize there set is not glammrious set in QH anymore like orig QH set cause of funds can’t afford
I like QH c very much and will be upset ,
Once Affresh said well if GC was giving hard time mittals should replace GC , it doesn’t work
Because we aufuance make our mind set our mind and think no one can do better act better than the previous , when jain lead actors take these kind of decession lot of people loose their job , food on table , makers of the show gets blamed
Channel and producer suffers big financials loss
GC was denying at the end because theses are the main lead, audiance are based in them
And channel pay them in fear of loossing them GC and KSG never said they did not get paid
It is other 500 worker, spot boy, kitchen worker, make up artist, lighting people trailers

July 06, 12:50You know SJ , I have no respect for actors like , GC , Rishabh Sinha and KSG who couldn’t value the opportunities that were generously handed to them .
Rishabh Sinha leaving QH really threw the show off course . He didn’t give any consideration to the role that he had signed up for .
With regards to KSG , I can’t stand even the look of him . B4 he left QH he really did look like an alcoholic deadbeat . The Zee team were forced to take actions against his irresponsible behavior towards his work . His own wife can’t trust him as even she knows how she got him . I never mourned his absence and I felt really sorry for the way that Raquesh was treated by KSG’s fans . Gk had no choice but to what she did and kill off the Asad character .
I never once came here and said that I miss GC either , since I recognize fully the part he played on PV ending the way it did .
I really admire Surbhi Jyoti , she is a true professional and she has carried that show since it’s inception . I don’t know if she ever missed an episode . I wish her all the best no matter what she does in the future . She isn’t the prettiest actress out but she has a lot of heart .

Yeah , KSG was looking like a man who wanted to get fired , he had no respect for his character . GC’s actions are too methodic and not natural enough . Yes he has soulful eyes , but he doesn’t connect well with his dialogue . KSG is a very good actor ,but I think his hubris had started to emerge in his acting style on QH . He didn’t appear humble and together anymore but rather a bit haughty and frazzled .
Even Kratika was so much better than GC , she took her acting seriously like Surbhi does .
Had there been any lie to the allegations that Zee made against KSG , I think he would have taken legal action against them for slander .

KT looks and behaves like her dad . She isn’t a very good actress I think . Maybe that’s why they show a lot of Gunjhan . She needs a makeover so she doesn’t look like she’s 12 .
