Punar Vivah 20th February 2013 Written Episode
Scene 1:
Location: Yash’s residence.
Radha is in tears at how it all turned out. However pankaj is very adamant that he would have to get the punishemnt and they would have to avenge their father’s insult. Gayatri and pankaj ask yash, to smear akash and radha’s face with coal, not feeling sorry for them as they deserve it. Buaji too instigates him to go on and taint radha’s face. Yash says that more than akash, radha is at fault that she led her son on the wrong path and demands to know the reason. He says that he considers mother as the reincarnation of god. But he says that he is a taint on mother’s name and cant call her by that name. Pankaj asks yash not to lecture them as they arent worth it. He asks yash to smear radha’s face, but arti stops his hand. yash asks arti not to stop him, as he wont bear anyone insulting his father. Arti complies, and he taints akash’s face by doing tilak with coal. arti thinks to herself that ideally yash would have been in this place, had radha not exchanged babies and that yash didnt do right by doing this to his own brother. Pankaj however smears his complete face and give him a shoe necklace aroung his neck, and taunt him with insults. while his sons are taking their revenge, Suraj goes inside.
Suarj goes inside and tells somebody on the phone, that it was indeed a jon well done with dexterity. The person on the other end, tells him that even the MLA wasnt able to find out the difference between the real and the forged report. after congratulating him for his work, suraj cancels the phone. He goes over to the almirah and takes out the real reports that confirmed akash as his own son.
Suraj burns the original results, which had confirmed that akash was indeed suraj’s son, and throws the burning pieces in the trash can. He says that he was after all a human, and he made his mistake. But all the fame that he aquired over the years, he couldnt have seen it going into vain, by this one mistake springing up from the past. Therefore, he had to take this step to forge the test results.
Outside yash and his brothers are mocking akash and his failure, and making merry by dancing around him. While akash is tied to a post, suraj comes outside to see his sons avenging his insult, while radha and arti watch in silence. Yash senses something burning and comes inside to find the test results burning in the waste bin. He puts out the fire and the half burned pieces fly around. Yash, however accidentally, steps on a half burnt piece, and picks it up to find that its the test results and is surprised to ses this. He is shocked to find that akash is in fact suarj’s son, and that radha was right after all. He refuses to believe it. arti enters the room and finds yash with the burnt reports. Yash looks up at arti and remembers arti taking radha’s side last night. He tells arti that noone should know about this. Arti is confused as to what is she saying. Yash is adamant on this stance. Arti says that she cant believe that he’s talking like this and asks him to think of the mother who brought up this child for the past 30 years, and that she deserves to have fatherly love for her child, and denying that would be sheer iunjustice. He says that its not just justice at stake, but also suraj’s whole career and reputation as he wont be able to bear this, and neither would gayatri. He says that what radha faced was not right, but she’s not weak, as she had the courage to pull through for 30 years, but his parenst wont be able to bear this. As for akash, yash promsies that he would give his share too to him, and wont keep anything for himself.
Arti says to yash that he might sympathise and give everything to akash, but will he be able to give that to aksh, which he has been grieving for the past 30 years, i.e. the love of a father and his own identity. Yash sits on the bed shocked and speechless. arti says that money isnt everything, and that he knows it better than her and she doesnt feel good hearing this from yash, as he always favours the truth and despises lies. He accepts adding that when the family’s happiness and reputation is at stake, he is okay with maigning. He says that he might be considered a cheat, but he wont let his family’s happiness ruin, even at the cost of his own principles ruining. He says that whatever he is today is due to suarj, and therefore, today he has to be with suraj. If he didnt do this also for suraj’s sake, then yash says that he wont be able to apologize himself forever as he cant see suarj living a life of disgrace, his mother dying every minute and his brothers suffocating with this truth. He says that they would never let suarj know that they know the truth and hopes that arti is with him on this. Arti thinks to herslf that she cant be with yash on this matter as that would deny a mother her rightful share. And even yash who considers the world of his parents, wont ever know who gave birth to him, i.e. radha. She is determined that she would tells yash the truth about his mother. The screen freezes on her face.
Precap: Arti tells yash that he knows the half truth and then goes on to tell him everything that she knows while he listens, shock registering on his face.

I think now mom started to worry about your future…. you may need to talk to her everything about your plans. If possible, try to communicate yaar…they will reach unconscious state at any time yaar, then you may feel that you didn’t share enough

February 23, 14:11Afreesh , I have never been overly close with her yaar , like to share my feelings much . I love her , I tell her , but I don’t connect in terms of sitting close all times and crying with her .
I have been an only child . I grew up with older people mainly . I have always sorted out my own thoughts . But she knows that I am there for her . I am deeply comnnected , but we talk about day to day things most times , like the state of the country or tv shows . I try to not get her sad by focussing on her situation . She cries snd I cry.
I am ok , with money , we have some property , so I am not worried too much . I am capable of bettering my future . I just don’t understand this disease .it is cruel .

Think of real problems being faced by unreal people , just characters . So even if we worry we know that it is not for a real person . We and many others know the difference .
Apple’s dad was murdered ,yaar , but she is so sweet ,and joyous . She touched my heart with her courage and open affection .
I don’t like to stay too long with dreary thoughts yasr . It pulls us down . I think in terms of the acceptance you speak about generally , but occasionally sad thoughts creep in .

I always tried to take the characters of PV to explain the heavy and matured topics which I learned already. I have noticed Arthi in you respect to some noble qualities, that’s why I’m trying hard to eliminate those qualities from you.
I had done some of the discussions from DC’s teaching. But there are many aspects I didn’t even touch yaar. The biggest confusing topic is non attachment theory yaar….
He advices strongly to feel non attached with people & situations… it may sound weird to hear this aspect. But it’s very helpful aspect to survive our life without much stress & worries….

These gurus are mere mortals like ourselves . They guide , but should provide our thoughts . Which person can become detached from their child or parent or loved one .We miss Sj so much , we never met her personally …but through some magic of the universe we know and love her .
No one should advise us to not be who we are . We are of flesh and blood yaar . The way I see it ! we must feel emotions , but we must also put things into perspective and face each hurdle , accept love where we find it and move away from negativity .

So, always try to understand what I really wanted to say & why I’m mentioning???.. although we surrounded with crowded atmosphere, we can listen to us perfectly if we focused with our thoughts and necessities.

Yes….we miss Sj very badly…. whenever we come to the forum we feel something is missed…that part is nothing to do with our non attachment theory yaar. I will explain it clearly tomorrow, but those teachings are not easy to adopt yaar….it takes time to understand, unless we experience certain things we can’t get clear vision of any concept.

Some guys aren’t so attractive , but they make us laugh or appeal to our intellect , they may have charm and a great personality. But , it pleases the eye to look at beautiful , or in our case handsome ” things ” . I guess that is why they say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder .
Good looks , but bad character , are a lot more unbecoming than a not so attractive face .
Even for commodities we pay a high price , and seldom even find, items that are a combination of beauty and usefulness .

February 21, 10:48Suni….as per my observation, Arthi is attracted to negative people & situations…she attracted to a wrong man Prashand and couldn’t able to attract him as like as shoba did with Dubeys….okey, then Prashand left her, that was the wonderful thing in her life but she didn’t appreciated instead spent her days by cherishing those negative memories & wrong man. When Shoba arranged her remarriage, she couldn’t accept and tried her best to avoid that positivity in her life.
Just recall all the nonsense which we discussed earlier ( birthday party decision, bhang night , ran away from home and caught Prashand, ran away at KC and saved negative person, all her support to prashand). If you consider that revelation of truth also must be connected to that attraction of negativity.
Even Radha matter, she entered herself into it and brought out the tragedy. Did you see anytime Arthi worked for any positive things???… until yash didn’t fall for her, he was fine. Once, he started to support her, he is getting all negativity into his life…..
I’m always wondering about this fact yaar…..because Yash is completely a positive man, he can’t think negative, he didn’t face any negativity in his life except Arpita’s death….now he is facing only negativity on people & situations

February 21, 11:06Afreesh , let me approach this in a different way . Aarti is blessed to be learning her lessons and by learning from her mistakes she can help others .
Think of it this way yaar , she is young , she got heartbroken and couldn’t recover for a while , but when she did she marched into the Schindia house with a new revitalized way of thinking . Yes she made more mistakes . But , the biggest mistake that can be made is to never learn from experience . We see now that she is guiding Yash , she did not hold on to the her secret .
Our heroine is in a unique perspective and different from the other females , except maybe Radha to an extent , because she has been through the rough times , weathered the storm and came back out still fighting .
She can see things from a mother’s point of view and understand both Radha and Gayatri alike . She knows what it feels like to be treated like an outsider , she knows what it feels like to love a child and she understands their pain and can empathize . Also yaar , she has been that social outcast all her life before Yash , either as an orphan or as a divorcee . She will be ale to help Yash greater because of her experience . Yash is the actual illigitimate child .
She may not always seem as the most together character , but her intentions are noble and pure and God helps the innocent at heart . We saw her praying , when all hope was almost lost , for Ansh’s return . Before she used to make demands from God ..but eventually she learnt to accept his decisions in her life .

February 21, 11:12Afreesh , one thing for sure , by the time Aarti gets to Gayatri’s age she wouldn’t be so naive . No man would be able to walk over her . Even Yash admires her strong voice and lack of inhibitions . She has vowed to protect Yash , and he is much more worthy of being called her ” God ” than Sindad is of being called Gayatri’s . He is lucky to have her.

If we analyse the word ‘respect’….where is it origin???…and other word ‘likeness’….from where it stars???…
Is that we can respect easily anyone??? or we can start liking anyone easily???….what are the criteria?… is that any definite rules available for likes & respect???….

February 21, 11:37Afreesh , your premise throws me back to the old school approach of marriage .,where the stars were astrologically compliant between male and female and they were from similar backgrounds with regards to tradition and social conventions . It was difficult to understand , appreciate and respect totally , the ways of people outside their familiar path so they stuck to what they knew .
But , times changed , education broadened the mind and people accepted and even welcomed diversity . Love was no longer about respect , but about euphoria and became associated with immediate happiness instead of long term patience . We live in a fast paced world and no one wants to wait for results yaar . They want instant gratification or on to another source to make them happy .
Marriage is not the sacred institution it used to be . People have changed . Many don’t even respect themselves , how can they respect others ? There are so many threats and easily ways out . The family has been reduced to single parents and there are so many complications .
I guess every individual has certain things that they can live with and certain things that they stand firmly against . It is very subjective , what each of us look for in a mate . Shobha , forgave Mr Dubey for his mistake , another woman might have shown him the door .

I find it was very undignified the way the Scindia family treated Radha and Akash, thy should have shown a lot mor dignity in handling the situation, they being such an influential family and all.
In my opinion they should have simply said now you’ve had your say its our turn get the hell out of our property and lives. Only the bigger one would carry themselves with such poise and dignity. I was instead referring to her willingness to forgive him despite him cheating , abandoning , divorcing and denouncing his child . Aarti has become stronger , because her eyes have opened a bit to certain realities , largely because she saw a genuine man in action when she married Yash . Prashant didn’t want to be a father , she learnt this after Ansh’s first kidnapping when he had refused to help save his child . From that point onwards , her thinking changed for the better .
My point was that Aarti , a strong , educated , beautiful young woman , was willing to swallow her pride for her love . Then what hope do we have for Gayatri ?? I expect her to forgive Papa S with relative ease . She isn’t a strong female character in this show . I find the smearing of Akash face was in poor taste, very distasteful for so called high status and high society upstanding sophisticated people. Very unsophisticated I say.
Totally degrading persons of Scindia household, very low indeed. G3 told them to do it, lord, she is so going to regret doing that to her own son and papa Scindia stood looking so smug and high and mighty to see that being done to his own flesh and blood. He has absolutely no shame whatsoever. He is not a big man at all but a very little puny one. Only a big man can admit and accept his mistake and atone for same or at least try to make amends and rectify the situation. But he is a big jackass.
The mala of shoes hung around Akash neck was uncalled for they are going to be so embarrassed when the truth is out, hope they could lift their heads a little to apologies to Radha and Akash, I was so surprised at G3 for encouraging such lowely behavior by her sons. They are supposed to be such persons of high morals and values and this act has dragged them down to the gutter of society, at least that’s my opinion.
