Punar Vivah 22nd April 2013 Written Episode
Scene 1:
Location: In the hospital
Arti takes the kid her lap and slaps ishita, who is at a loss for an answer. Everyone asks ishita where ayu was being taken. She says that she was in fact bringing him to arti. She says that she couldnt see arti’s sadness, and hence she got the baby for arti to see, and concocts up a story. She asks akash to tell arti of her noble intentions. Arti talks to the baby, saying that she wouldnt leave him now. Akaash reprimands her for her foolishness, and says that had something happened to ayu, he would have and almost raises his hand, but is stopped by yash. Arti says that she wont let ayu be in the incubator. Yash consoles her that he would immediately talk about the same and takes her to her ward along with ayu. He casts a fleeting glance back at ishita before turning his head away.
Ishita wonders if yash has started doubting her, and thinks that if that happens, then her game is over, and she cant let that happen at any cost, and would have to win back his trust.
Radha asks arti and ayu to relax. She helps arti seat along with the baby, while others looks on happily. Seeing their tensed face, she asks whats wrong, but arti assures her that everything was alright, and skips the incubator story. Radha says that atleast now arti would be able to rest easily. The kids marvel at how small and soft their brother is. Yash thinks about ishita’s justification. Yash excuses himself from the family and leaves.
yash confronts ishita that he didnt say anything in front of arti, but akash was exactly right in reprimanding her for her doing. yash asks whats in her mind, and what does she want. Her eyes fill up with crocodile tears, and yash apologizes but sternly also tells her that what she did was very wrong, and she shouldnt repeat that mistake ever again. Ishita agrees. He takes out a handkerchief, while ishita thinks that this is a symbol of the fact that yash’s heart has melted seeing her tears. But he goes to akash and asks him not to be angry at ishita, and asks him to make up with her. He asks her not to cry, and then asks her the reason for it, and then says that he understood it, even if noone else does. He says that he knows that she would be a very good mother, and that he would support her in this dream of hers. He asks her to smile and goes off. Ishita is very frustrated with the latest turn of events. She takes the hankey and crushes it under her feet.
The nurse tells the family that only one person can stay for the night with the patient. Arti signals, much to others’ amusement, yash to stay back. Pankaj and prateik suggest radha’s name for her maturity and experience in handling such things. But yash and arti, both convince that radha is very tired and should rest. But his brothers tell that radha indeed should stay back, for any kind of problems in the night, as the kids are also habituated to sleeping with their own parents. Arti says that the kids are very comfortable with radha, and they wont bother her. Radha too insists that she needs to be with arti, more than anything else. She asks yash to go. the brothers take fun in yash and arti’s predicament. They take yash out, but he makes an excuse of some things remaining behind, and goes by arti’s bedside. Radha asks what is he searching for. She makes up an excuse and leaves. yash gives her the message needed, hurriedly, and leaves when his bothers holler out for him and he kisses her hand and hurries out. She smiles in glee.
Later in the night, radha asks arti not to miss yash so badly, as arti seems so lost, and says that she understands the love between them, and wishes that noone should cast an evil eye on their relationship, and their love stays eternal.
Scene 2:
Location: Yash’s residence
Yash hits prateik and is angry at both prateik and pankja, for seperating arti from him tonight, while they tease him wholeheartedly. Ishita thinks that tonight yash would be all alone for her, and this would be the best time to get close to him.
While yash is undressing, ishita watches him from hiding, and revels in the sight. She thinks that tonight she wont be abel to wait any longer, to make yash his. Ishita goes to his room, with food, and is about to knock, but then stops. She thinks that it would be good if yash opens it, as then with every step that they take, distances between them would vanish. She knocks on the door, and looks on expectantly. as the door opens, and she steps in, she is stunned to find a picture of arti, and ansh telling and his sisters, hogging on the food, while yash is busy reading something. Ishita is frustrated to see her plan failing. The kids asks her to feed. But on yash’s insistence not to trouble ishita, they start eating themsleves, and ishita comes to yash. She says that this isnt a trouble, as the kids would miss their mom. She asks him to eat, but he says that he isnt hungry. She says, coming loser to him, that if he tastes the food, he might feel the hunger. But before she can come in any closer, the kids barge in and say that there’s no taste at all in the food, and not at all like arti, who gives them delicious food. While ishita is frustratewd with the kids, interfering in her plan, yash asks the kids not to talk like this. She thinks that soon, this problem of the kids would be over as they doze off to sleep. But she is surprised when she hears the kids making plans with yash, to stay up all night and play, as arti isnt there to check on them. Ishita says that they should let yash sleep as he’s tired, and then arti would feel bad if she knows that they were up late. she takes the kids to put them to sleep in their room.
Looking at yash, ishita smirks at her planning. While boiling milk, ishita thinks that another eye has been cast, as she now is in love with yash. She thinks that tonight yash and arti’s love story would be over, and he wouldnt know how indiscreetly a new story, and a new love seeps in his life, and the old one vanishes away. The screen freezes on the faces of the love trio, Arti, Yash and Ishita.
Precap: As a person draped in doctor’s masks picks up ayu, arti comes upto him from behind, and facing him, is puzzled about the man, and asks who is he?

AarYa: A Fatal Encounter
Yash rested his head against the cool metal of the bench in the waiting area of the hospital outside the operation theatre. In his hands he held a styrofoam cup of tea that had gone cold, but he could not bring himself to put it down or dump it in the dustbin.
Almost five hours ago Aarti had been stabbed. Yash could remember the early pregnancy scare and all the close calls of injury and falls that he he had protected and pulled Aarti through. Yet this was the first time Yash had not been able to do anything but press down on the wound in an attempt to make the bleeding stop.
It was Aayu’s naming ceremony and the priest had been invited to perform the havan for Aayu naming ceremony, good health and long life. As per the Scindhiya custom the astrologer pandit had also been called to draw up Aayu’s kundali (horoscope) that day. The guests were being received by all the family members and Aarti was mingling among them but then Aayu demanded to be fed. So Aarti and Aayu retired to their room so that she could nurse him in privacy.
Ansh and PayPal the proud siblings of Aayu were explaining to everybody how Aayu was being named after their parents Aarti and Yash. When Ishita started correcting them and telling them that Aayu’s name would be changed. Then an argument erupted between her and PayPal-Ansh that resulted in Ishita going beserk, taking a knife from the kitchen and rushing to the bedroom and stabbing Aarti.
He trembled as he recollected hearing Aarti’s shriek followed by a loud wail from Aayu. Panic had gripped his heart but he had rushed to the room thrust Ishita out, picked Aayu and laid him on bed while tending to Aarti. His throat ran dry and tears clouded his vision as he remembered Aarti’s blood seeping through his fingers. But Aarti had been her usual brave and strong self —- even amidst the pain she had given him that special look and smile albiet a weak one and whilst clinging to him had whispered she would be fine.
Yash smiled as he recalled Aarti’s brave words, it was so typical of Aarti to be optimistic and say something like that. It had given him the courage and strength he needed to take charge of the situation. Immediately he had asked Prateek to call a doctor and ambulance. Aakash was holding on to Ishita until the doctor arrived. Radha ma had taken Aayu with her and Vidhi bhabhi was taking care of Ansh-PayPal.
The wait for the ambulance, ride to the hospital and finally getting the required medical attention for Aarti were moments that had driven Yash almost insane. Yash now understood what the saying bleeding to death meant. He recalled his frustration at watching Aarti losing more and more blood … blood soaking and seeping through the cloth he was using to staunch it! The memory of Aarti’s bleeding made him feel helpless and weak.
In this one year they had been together — Yash had not only lost his heart to Aarti but was also well aware that without her life would be meaningless for him. He thought of the time he had first told her ‘I love you’ … now will he get the chance to say that to her again? He did not know but he knew he would do all he could to make her live. He closed his eyes and fervently and reverently resumed his prayers to God.
Because Aarti had lost a lot of blood before she was brought to the hospital. She had barely been conscious when examined by the doctor. Her heart beat was slow, blood pressure too low and pulse weak. She was whisked away to the operation theatre immediately and here he was waiting for the nurse and doctor to give him some news.
Yash rubbed his stubbled chin. It was eleven in the night — Aarti was still in the operating theater. The adrenaline rush that had sustained him since 5:00 pm had waned and worry was gripping his insides.
Suddenly he realized the surgeon was standing in front of him. “Mr Yash Scindhiya?”
“Yes” Yash replied feebly as he stood up to face the doctor.
“Your wife is out of surgery” the doctor continued smilingly “She is one fighter. I am confident she will make full recovery. It will take some time though.”
Yash slowly released his breath — he hadn’t realized he had been holding it. Aarti his beloved – his soul mate would be alright. He closed his eyes for a second as he sent a silent thank you prayer to God. He suddenly felt dizzy with relief and joy.
“Thank you doctor for all you have done for my wife — that’s wonderful news. Will it be OK if I see my wife now?” Yash asked.
The doctor nodded and indicated the room. Yash rushed to Aarti’s bedside and clung on to her hand and whispered soothing words in her ear — telling her everything is alright. Aarti was still in stupor from the anaesthesia but he knew she could hear him and feel him.
Finally after about 10 mins or so Yash walked away from Aarti’s bed towards the window and phoned SM. Pankaj picked up the phone. He gave Pankaj the good news and asked him how kids were faring and the going ons at SM.
Pankaj informed him that Radha ma was taking care of Aayu. Ansh was with Prateek and PayPal with Vidhi. The doctor had advised that Ishita be admitted to a mental institution for intensive care. Akaash and Bauji had just returned after getting her admitted.
Yash could hear SP’s voice in the background enquiring about Aarti’s condition.
SP got on the phone and Yash assured him that Aarti would be recovering fully. Before hanging up SP said “Beta please tell Aarti bahu that we are eagerly awaiting her return home. Aayu needs her … if the doctor permits then get her discharged so she can recoup at home”.
As Yash cut off the call and turned to face Aarti. He realized he was much calmer and the rhythmic sounds of the heart monitor were soothing. He pulled a chair to the bed and sat on it fighting all tiredness to stay awake. The next thing he knew was that it was early morning and some one was running their fingers through his hair. He suddenly remembered where he was — he was still holding Aarti’s hand and Aarti had entwined her fingers through it.
“Yashji, I know you are awake” Aarti said.
“Aarti, I did not know you were awake though” said Yash. He slowly lifted his head, cupped her face and gently kissed her on the forehead.
Both looked at each other tenderly — it felt like coming together after a long separation. “I love you Aarti. All I want is for you to rest and get well soon. We will talk later — now let me hold you while you rest.”
“I love you too Yash and I would very much like you to hold me”… said Aartiji before drifting off to a drugged sleep again!

I don’t think that’s a birth mark, I think it’s the black tikka placed there by the baby real parents to ward off the evil eye. That’s what the Indians do when they have a baby.
In Trinidad they put a tiny black dot in the middle of the forehead. Some put it behind the ear.

His dad! Because over the times and episodes I have learnt to tell between Gurmeet’s hands and fingers and Kratika’s hands and fingers! And look closely at the guy he has long thin fingers and on the guys hand there is a ring on the man’s third finger and Gurmeet’s wears a ring on his middle finger on his ring finger and pinky and the guy was wearing a ring similar to Guru’s! So the masked man is Yash!

When Arthi was crying in front of him for his rude & insane act, he was standing like stone he never ever sympathized with Arthi. But he melted immediately for Ishita’s crocodile tears. Why????
The man who is going to see his baby with anxiety why should worry about the kercheif of other women who doesn’t even show her face???….on top of that why should he touch her????
When he was begging to the nurse for looking Ayu…..I felt what’s wrong with this man yaar….in fact Akash is the reason behind the tight security. If Akash is not there with yash he would’ve return back quietly from there….yash is hero????

I don’t understand the writer’s theory…. why should the kids has to save Yash each time???… The man who was loyal to his dead wife need security guards (kids) to protect himself from a handicapped lady????..That too when he is in blind love with his wife (who is very much alive).
Why should he catch Ishita whenever she fell down????… I remember the earlier episodes where he got irritated whenever Arthi touch his arm by mistake. We believed this guy was loyal to his dead wife. Arthi is very much alive where is his loyalty??? no matter his intentions are good or not…
Yash & Arthi are very good at preaching to others. He advised about the intention & wrong method to Ishita what about him???… where is his senses while catching other man wife???… The whole world knows he loves Arthi but we never noticed that comfort zone between yash & Arthi. We have noticed that comfort between Arthi & prashand and now Yash & Ishita has it…..RIDICULOUS WRITERS…
Just to stress the viewers they are spoiling their characterisation…. I’m fedup with their stressful storyline

April 22, 16:42Well Afreesh, my observations exactly, wanted to say more or less the same but was too damn miffed about the situation to even start, I’m glad you said what you did.
Did you. Price when she fell and he caught her the way he looked at her, I wanted to comment then that he showed the emotions and feelings and expression towards the snake, that he never show to Arti, even though they are supposed to be madly is love.
Why was he so quick to defend her and have sympathy for her after the kidnapping by that snake, but was not at all emotional with Arti even though it was Arti who lost her baby.
These writers are so confusing, don’t know what are their intentions with regards Yash and Arti long term relationship?
Is it that because of her lame ass foot that he pities her? Even though when he looks at her he has more emotions in his eyes than with Arti.

April 22, 16:44In an ideal Hindu home it is a sin for the chotki, to touch the barka, well the younger sister in law to touch the older brother of her husband, and Yash is a day or two older that Akash. So the witch touching Yash is a sin. I don’t know what these writers are thinking. Yash should not even help her when she pretends to fall. Let the damn witch fall and get more cripple than she is.

April 22, 16:58Anu…. when he created that much distance with Arthi eventhough she was having the right to touch him, he should maintain that distance with Ishita. In front of Akash he carried Ishita at the time of priest arrival…. he was showing his face to apply colour at the time of holy festival….And today she came very close to him almost their body was touching each other….why couldn’t he recognise yaar???…..
pls don’t say he is naive or doesn’t care. According to the script yash is a very responsible man in their family. Why should he encourage his younger SIL to be with him at night????…
His new born son got missed and this lady caught in suspicious state but he offered his handkerchief… As far as Yash characterisation was very possessive pertain to his wife & kids. I missed that responsible father today.
Self discipline is most important to men & women. No matter what other’s intentions, but they should protect themselves not by kids nor by their partners

Yash shouldn’t look at her they way he does. This is the weakness of his acting skill…. when he touch Arthi he has fearful face but he looks cool with Ishita….I don’t know whom should we blame the actor or the director????….

Like other people were saying compared to Debina KS is way hotter and curvier and maybe she is insecure a out it.
But hey being a professional you’ve gotta get a life and do away with those insecure feelings and do your job. It’s his job requirement, not a fancy for him. That’s why I’m so miffed with him.

she doesnt know the hell of jealousy and true insecurity when you have ppl like brad pitt tom cruise and other famous married or in relationship actors end up kissing getting nude and doing so call intimate scenes with actresses who are hot as fire
even in nollywood movies (nigerian movies) these hot actresses have to do scenes like this their spouses have to deal with it

We had this Boston marathon shootting , and 3 das later in MIT. I ate he lot of innocent people hurt. This arathon was fo good cause. Was upset for a whe tan , I found out about suni’s mom

The baby is health but out of abundance of caution as is the norm and proper hospital procedure the baby should be kept in incubator for at least a few days to ensure no complications later.
My nephew was a seven month premie too and had to stay for three weeks in incubator, hence my concern. Not all babies are the same.
And yes our Ayu is an elephant, hehe lol just joking, he stayed almost eleven months in his mommys tommy, so two months premie, hilarious indeed.
I’m am so glad that all her rediculous plans are being foiled one by one. That’s the highlight of the show these days.
Whether her plans glint to fail or not.

April 22, 15:30As per the current track of Punar Vivah I mean I really love this show the love between Yash and Aarti,the love they share with their kids and the love of the family. I get it Punar Vivah is about life after remarriage.Â
And I must admit what Ishita was attempting before Aarti had Aayu wasn’t as bad as kidnapping Aayu and more so taking him to a mental institution? He is a NEW BORN BABY WHO ISN’T EVEN FULLY MATURED AND DEVELOPED. I really always had faith in the writers because I knew oh okay its the Mitall’s they always had a way to make the show meaning-filled and with valuable situations and solutions even in bad times but I have lost all respect after reading about the plot of the baby going the mental institution and begin mental! It is truly horrid and unpleasant to think off and much less watch. I am fine with Ishita attempting but failing but please don’t drag Aayu into this!Â
The writers of Punar Vivah taught lessons in their story plots but tell me what can this teach? How to kidnap my brother in law’s premature baby and send him to a mental place and then try to get my MARRIED brother in law (my husband’s BROTHER) this is just madness it is way pass drama it is chaos.Â
I want to express my views but it is to painful and sorrowful to witness and think of this. ISHITA HAS GONE TO FAR the writers in my view have pushed it too far over line and played her track too far. This may be a fictional show and one of the things I loved about Punar Vivah is how real they make it look and taking the concept that this is real it is too painful and heart shattering to witness; Aarti separated from her kid and….
Another thing is does Ishita really think by taking Aarti and Yash’s kid she can separate Yash and Aarti?Â
Firstly when Aarti comes to know that her NEWborn baby is gone she will surly have an emotional breakdown and with that the only person she confides in is Yash, althought her family is there…Yash will be the one that feels the exact pain she does so by separating Aayu from them it only brings Yash and Aarti closer!Â
Also missing Shoba Ma and I’m totes excited  that Punar Vivah isn’t ending and Kratika will stay as Aarti and Gurmeet as Yash til well forever!
But I honestly can’t give Kratika wrong  for not loving the plot and Gurmeet I mean I love the guy he’s an awesome actor but I feel as if he doesn’t take his role seriously and is a bit how to say STIFF like he’s afraid to touch Aarti and seems a bit distant from
Kratika and the cast and crew but maybe thats just my view! BUT I DO URGE YOU GUYS TO NOT LOSE HOPE AND DON’T GIVE UP ON THE SHOW PLEASE I SAY THIS EVERY TIME THERE IS A PROBLEM AND I HAVE A
LITTLE HOPE AND THEREFORE I SAY PLEASE DON’T LOSE HOPE I HAVE A BIT OF FAITH LEFT IN THE WRITERS THEY HAVE DONE AN AMZING JOB THIS FAR I’M SURE THINGS WILL GET BETTER SO PLEASE DON’T GIVE UP ON PUNAR VIVAH AND STAY LOYAL THINGS WILL GET BETTER……! Actors in this serial are the best in TV land and I hope producer closes this show and moves on to next serial with actors and back-end crews. They should dump these writers. Last year the serial was on top because of the cast and the concept that producers were addressing. But looks like unimaginative writers are letting every one down and fans are struck with illogical (yes, even as entertainment) story line.

Get rid of Ishita’s ridiculous obsession with Yash, it is disgusting to see her lust after her brother-in-law. Please send her away to some far away place, like Siberia maybe.
Please keep the baby healthy, not disabled in anyway. He is the symbol of Yash and Aarthi’s new life and family. Don’t give them more hurt, hopelessness and helpless. Bring a wave of happiness into their life, they deserve this. Come on writers let us have some trouble free times in this show.
