Punar Vivah 28th February 2013 Written Episode
Scene 1:
Location: Yash’s residence.
Arti tells buaji that daughters in law are still strangers in this house, but didnt she feel bad, talking about her own brother’s infamy with strangers. Buaji says that she needed to discuss it with someone and hence when she got her old friend’s call, she couldnt resist talking to him. arti says that she could have considered with her own family, instead of a friend. As buaji turns around, she sees gayatri and leaves without saying a word. gayatri, on the other hand, leaves when she sees radha coming.
Arti asks her not to feel bad as gayatri would take time, as any normal lady would to be able to cope with the changed situations, but she definitely would see the true situationa s she isnt a bad person by heart. Radha says that he just wants akash and ishita’s share of happiness and respect for themselves and nothing else. as she goes away, arti thinks that she doesnt want only akash’s and ishita’s but also radha, but also knows that its going to be a tough job.
All the brothers are bonding together over drinks, by deciding who finsihes their drinks bottoms up.
Downstairs, gayatri, looking at the saree of ishita, thinks its arti and asks her to go call the boys for dinner now. as ishita complies saying yes, gayatri is surprised seeing her. But arti tries to put her at ease saying that even ishita is a member of their family. gayatri leaves without saying anything. arti again gives the same advise to ishita as she had given to radha, that she shouldnt feel bad, as gayatri and the others would definitely come around. Ishita says that she hopes that what arti says comes true. Arti says that she and yash together would make her and akash an integral part of the family very soon. Ishita stoically says that she would wait for that day.
Ishita comes on the roof telling that they are being called for dinner. Akash impolitely talks to her saying that she should see that he’s enjoying with his brothers, and that he would come when he wants to. Yash asks him not to talk like that with his wife, but akash stops him midway saying that yash shouldnt say anything, since its because of him, that he had to bear this burden in the first case, referring to ishita, who stands there hurt. He says that had he knows he was Suraj scindia’s son, he would never have married her. Yash is speechless. But he says that ishita is a good girl, and asks him to let bygones be bygones. Akash says what would he do with good girl like her, as he is now trapped at a time when he has hit the jackpot, with a handicapped girl. yash asks him to stop and tells ishita not to feel bad. But when akash doesnt stop, yash shouts at him and shuts him down, saying ishita not to mind, since he’s not in his senses. But ishita asks yash not to say anything to him, since its not his fault, ad he is after telling the truth, and that she is in fact a burden on him, since yash refused to marry her. For her, akash is a god sent, who saved her life and respect in the society when she had been shunned by yash and his family. Saying so, he leaves.
Akash still curses her that she went, but made him sober again by this disruption and asks for another glass to be prepared.
Akash comes down at the dinner table, drunk and behaving absurdly, and sits at suraj’s chair while others are surprised. Yash asks him to leave that chair, but he doesnt listen to anyone and takes them casually, while suarj is standing watching him. Akash enthusiastically starts with the dinner. He gets up to reach out for the items kept at the other end of the table, takes the food and begins. Yash asks him to eat along with the rest. But akash doesnt pay attention to this too saying that he doesnt need company to eat and that everyone should fend for themselves. as suarj finally sits on the other end of the table, yash asks arti to serve him food. akash again begins his commentary about the food, and asks for a lemon. arti has no choice but to leave serving suraj, and go over to give lemon to akash.
Suraj pushes away the plate in disgust saying that he has been watching for a long time, and is disgusted with the way akash is conducting himself at the dinner table. Suraj reprimands akash for not having the proper table manners even for eating with the family together. Akash says thats happened since he isnt habituated to eating with the sophisticated crowd. He says that they should adapt themselves to this, since he wont change for anyone and would stay the same. He says that he cant change since his own father never gave him the chance to be able to have the same lifestyloe as of his family. He reprimands suraj for not thinking about his family or the social status of his love, when he was romancing his mother and when the fruit of that romance came out on the open, he was thinking about self respect and status in the society. He says that he had no fault in being unable to sit and with manners and eat with proper manners, as suraj forced him to live an uncivilised life.
Akash comes to suraj and folds his hands in taunting, saying that suraj made his destiny and destined him to be unfortunate forever. Akash says that suraj was responsible for the fact that he had to live a nameless live of an illegitimate in the slums for over 30 years. Pankaj tells akash that he wouldnt bear such insult to his father. He tells pankaj to ask his God like father, suraj to live one day of akash’s life for once, and then he would understand what he had gone through, and then ask himself as who is the low caste and misbehaved. He says that even life becomes unbearable when a person doesnt know the name of his own father.
He says that today suraj is quiet only for the fact that his respect is at stake, otherwise he would have gotten them killed a long time back. Radha comes upto him and slaps him for his misbehaviour. He still continues saying that he hasnt said anything wrong. radha forcibly takes him away from there, with ishita in tow.
Pankaj asks yash to understand now that he has done a grave mistake in bringing them here and that suraj was right in letting them go with a lumpsum money. He says that akash deservingly belongs in the slums only. Buaji too feigns hurt at this, saying that if akash has the guts to talk like this in front of them, then how would he talk behind their backs, in the society.
Suraj says that he, even while not wanting, gave his consent to yash’s descision, but supporting pankaj says that this crap cant stay in this house. The screen freezes on suraj’s tensed face.
Precap: Suraj says that this boy wont live here. Yash says that he would teach him manners and family values. suraj gives him 7 days to be able to bring about this change in akassh’s personality, or else he would be thrown out of this house.

March 01, 06:57I think we didn’t notice the biggest flaw of Yash all those days yaar. This man is very possessive to his belongings nevertheless of other’s emotional state. He acted insensitive & almost blind with Arthi’s emotions When he obsessed with Arpita’s related love, guilty, commitment. Ultimately, he didn’t considered about Ishita’s emotions when he undertook the third marriage task for the sake of Arthi & Ansh.
As soon as he acknowledged Akash & SP relationship, instantly he thought of his mother Gayathri’s emotions and decided firmly to cover the truth. Alternatively he decided to keep his biological mother Radha in their house despite of Gayathri’s pleaded & silent refusal. He didn’t even ready to reconsidera his decision although Maya taunted him openly…..why???..
I felt very bad when Gayathri catch his hand helplessly for seeking protection….I couldn’t accept Yash’s insensitive act….

March 01, 07:26Hi Afreesh. :). By the way, you can call me Sneha, but I am a bit uncomfortable with changing my name on the forum, if you don’t mind…. Anyway, back to the show, Yash has been a bit inconsiderate of others feelings. But, we must understand the feelings of Yash. He loved Arpita more than the world, and she loved him back. When she died, he did not want to love again, because she was his life. When he had that drunken night in Mumbai with Aarti, who he considered a friend, he was devestated and felt so guilty that he betrayed his love and could not do anything about it. Imagine that guilt building up inside of him that he couldn’t bear and just wanted to forget, and did until he sees Aarti. That guilt made him a bit crazy. He did treat Aarti unfairly Afreesh, but we must understand his feelings. People only get angry when they are scared and Yash was scared he was losing Arpita. He did not do right, don’t get me wrong, but he did try to make it up by treating extremely well. Aarti did do some things to make him mad too. She lied to him about her being a widow. Yash was extremely hurt by this. He loved Aarti and when he figured out that she lied to him, all those moments, felt like a lie. It felt like she was going places and keeping things from him and made him wonder what else she lied about. He overcame that very fast and kept by her side, making up for his anger on the Mumbai incident. Yash was very insensitive to Ishitas and Gayatri’s feelings, but he was trying to do what was right. Radha should not come into the house, but Yash has a craving to get to know his real mother, and that is his right. Maybe he should not do it in front of Gayatri, in short visits to her house or something would be good. So, he was wrong there. Ishita feels betrayed by Yash and she feels rather she got married to Aakaush, her god. Aakaush saved her from any more humiliation. I just wished that they should not have chose a handicapped girl. She is hard to marry off because of that, and she is very upset of this fact. Yash was insensitive to her feelings, but he allowed her to give him any punishment, and Ishita did make Aakaush try to kill him with that snake. Afreesh, we must not forget that our characters are not perfect. They have weaknesses and they haves emotions and they have fears. Sometimes they are insensitive, but they always try to do right. We must respect the parts they are able to do like despite all this pain, let Aakaush and Ishita get their rights, and transform them if they do something like Aakaush did at the dinner table.

Not any of the Schindia sons have any ability to fully grasp the deep thoughts of their mates .
Even when he provided those divorce papers to Aarti ,he was thinking about his duties – first and foremost .
He is more similar to Aarti than you would like to admit yaar 🙂 .

The physical attributes , the outer appearance , is secondary in this world . The inner beauty is of greater importance than the outer .
If she wants her husband to love her , or at least respect her , she needs to be patient and kind . She already tried the aggressive approach and failed . Now she just needs to be patient and hold hope .

Sneha….I didn’t know whether you read my previous views regarding Yash nature or not. If you aware my opinion you wouldn’t come up to support him…..ha..ha..ha…
I just respect this man more than anyone in this forum. So far, I couldn’t find any flaw from this characterisation….I was the only one supported his feelings even at the worst time (I’m referring to his insane behaviours after Mumbai trip). But I couldn’t accept that insensitive act from yash against Ishita & Gayathri..hence, I started to think deeply how this sensible character could react insensitive???…then I found the answer….that’s it sneha…
By the way….I believe, yash liked Arthi unconsciously at the very first clash happened between them. It was hidden to himself and his love for Arthi nurtured gradually. I didn’t mean that his love for Arpita was not pure, yes he loved her genuinely but he trapped by guilty conscious after that accident. Since he assumed himself as the sole responsibility of that accident therefore he took commitment (it’s almost like a punishment to him) strongly not to give her place to anyone in his lifetime. Upto me Yash’s previous state was psychological disorder….a deep depression…he was hardly trying to make real image from the imaginative figure…. but scindhiya members didn’t take effort to relieve him from frustration through medical assistane instead they arranged another female to alter the emptiness which was created by Arpita’s death.
My complaint from beginning is Arthi didn’t handle this man efficiently until present date….you may get cleared on this point through my next discussions respect to Ishita characterisation

It’s seems like the writters has introduced an another strong female characterisation to enlighten our knowledge yaar. She is very interesting…..I didn’t know it’s full-time negative or part-time negative characterisation…..anyway I found something good on this female which I didn’t see from Arthi.

She is bitter and holds on to grudges . She is largely self seeking and will never sacrifice her happiness for another . Yes Suni…..these two characters are not looking perfect, but I have much hope for Akash than Ishita.
If you look at Akash, he didn’t consider about Gayathri at all, he believes his mother is Radha till now and didn’t complaint for her selfish act. (I didn’t know why yash took him to drink???…stupid act…Apart from that he wanted him to talk politely & shouted at him for rudeness & preaching to Ishita….I’m getting mad at Yash….just leave him)
whatever Akash told at dinner time, that all words came from his heart…. this man Akash is not perfect but not hypocrite too. They way he defended his mother ‘Radha’ is very appreciable yaar. Radha love for Akash could be somewhat doubtful but not his love.
He is very sensitive & possessive to his mother love. When she was searching for jagganry to give Yash, he assisted her eventhough he didn’t like it….. that’s the touch of his bond yaar…
If he handled by right people, he would become change rapidly…
Let me move to Ishita…
Yes…she is very demanding personality but she is attracted to positive things . She is also not hypocrite, she is very open like Akash no matter what evil they do. She had no problem to inform Radha when Akash planned to kill yash. She clearly showed her jealous feeling to Arthi when she stared at their picture. And the most important note is she refused her Saree at once whence Arthi informed it was Yash’s gift.
I think you are upset with her for her desperate desires to get married. It’s not like that, she born with the golden spoon but she couldn’t enjoy it and has been rejected from people’s acceptance against the reasons which is not her fault . She seems very dynamic lady, optimistic towards life despite of her physical challenge.
She has taken a right decision after her marriage to be with Akash nevertheless of his status. She engaged herself into their life seriously, she supported him genuinely. If we see her with open mind, she is the reason behind where Akash is seated now. If she didn’t provoke Arthi through touching her sensitive button, Arthi might’ve not revealed the truth at that time.
She is not ready to delay anything yaar….very fast ….I’m not ready to appreciate the way she tried to seduce him. But, I didn’t miss to notice her determined & positive nature when she gave him reply to his rude insults. How she send him to mingle with them……it seems whether he likes or dislikes he should obey her. Very dominant lady yaar…..
When she replied to Yash, Infact she didn’t insult yash but she supported her husband despite of her hurts. When Akash was misbehaving, she looked at him helplessly….that’s the real feelings of the better half Suni

Yes, she wanted a life like Arthi…..what’s wrong in that???… if she want yash then it’s wrong…..you remember Paridhi also used to compare yash with Prateik in the earlier episodes. Yash is a perfect husband who could be a considered easily as a prototype of husband figure. So, there is no wrong on expecting her husband to behave like yash…
It will take time for her….but she will do it without anybody’s help.
I should say this….except Ramdularay everybody helped Arthi to deal with yash…..ha…ha…ha…

Remember how we had concluded that they both found solace in each other because they shared a similar pain . When these two connect and realize that they are more the same than different , it will be interesting to watch .

Ishita knows the value of the husband role and she is ready to take efforts to promote her life eventhough at zero possibility state. Arthi never take any steps herself to improve her relationship with yash. The way she gifted her Saree is deliberately indicated how she lost Prashand….
You know Suni….the only strength of Arthi at this moment is Yash love for her. She has nothing else in the world except him even shoba is not there. But what she gave him???

March 01, 21:16Hi Afreesh and Suni. I don’t think that you two are going to read this because it is on an old forumn but if you do, then that’s great. Afreesh, yes Yash has been a very contradictary kind of character, but his emotions are so jumbled up. We know that he is doing the right thing, but, he does seem insenstive to the family, doesn’t he? He is kind of forcing the family to accept Aakaush, and I think that that maybe is what needs to be done even if it is wrong. The family has to start taking its responsibility for neglecting Aakaush and if they won’t do it voluntarily then it comes to this. People are suffering, but this is what should happen right? The Ishita matter I cannot justify. It was wrong for Yash to do this to a girl, breaking off a wedding is heart-breaking. Ishita should express her feelings to Yash, though and maybe those two could work it out. Suni, I am touched by how you say that the real handicap is mentally, but there are still people who have both, like Ishita. Ishita is not very moral, but her parents probably never taught her that. When you think about it, her parents probably never taught her about how to handle emotions, so that would make her as she is now. At least she is polite to everyone else. I don’t know what to characterize her, I am not saying she is good or bad, but I am just saying why she could be like this. Her parents were shown to be cocky and insensitive as well.

Aarti n yash r too good to be true. The show has lost is uniqueness ie protraying the issuesn challenges of punar vivaah. Very sad n disappointing

The play full atmosphere will soon turn sour when G3 is put in the position where she has to judge the winning team. Even when yash team is the clear winner she picks akash team. This irks yash and he feels let down by the family which has brought him up like their son all these years. Well I guess yash succeeded in making akash a gentleman.

Aakaush needs to stop acting as a know-it-all that is better than elders, he is going to be treated like trash if he acts like that. I feel bad for Ishita for getting such a husband who doesn’t appreciate her for her. It is not Yash’s fault though, that she got a husband like that, it is his fault that she lost a husband and was humiliated in public. The family is right to act in defense of Suraj and every other member. Aakaush is trashing them in their own house when they generously and with much difficulty accepted them into their house. I have a something to say to all of the characters. Aakaush: stop acting like that, you need to act better. Suraj: you must apologize to everyone and make an effort to like Aakaush and accept him. Ishita: Stop hatiing Yash and show Aakaush your good side to make HIM fall in love with you. Gayatri: Show some emotion to show everyone how you feel, stop acting like you can take this all and express something so your family can help you through it. Aarti and Yash: Be a bit more patient with your family and control Aakaush and Ishita. Let Radha stay out of the house for a few days until everything is settled. Pankaj, Vidhi, and Pratiek: Try to accept Aakaush and aid Yash and Aarti in controlling him. Comfort your family and dont be so defensive, because you know that nothing that Aakaush says is true. Radha: Leave the house even if no one is allowing you, try to stay out of sight if you want to help Aakaush at least. It is an okay episode, but I miss happiness and good qualities of Punar Vivah. I want Arya romance and to get everything sorted out quickly. This problem has been dragging for too long. In seven days, this will all be over. Overall, okay episode.

I can feel your optimism and hope decline just a bit . I have read your thoughts long enough yo know that these days you need to think much to find the aspects that you can connect with and truly love on PV .
The writers are treating us like outsiders also .No warm affection towards us , they are not offering anything sweet when we visit .
One thing though , all the skeletons are gaining life . The problems that the Schindia’s were unaware of , but some of them helped to create , are out in full bloom now . They are wealthy , with influence and power , but they are not untouchable . There wrong doings are no different from an ordinary man’s wrong doing . It may not be easy to accept , but if one isn’t responsible for his/her actions , and simply leaves the outcome for life to decide , then they must deal with whatever comes their way .

If they are so concerned about respect, please show other people respect if you want respect in return.

February 28, 14:13Firstly manners are manners it does not matter if you are poor or wealthy and you gain manners from your upbringing which clearly Akash has none of. I beleive Radha did instill values in him but Akash is his own person thus he displays his temper much like the tempers we have seen displayed by Yash (when he was guilty over his wife) and Suraj (when he learned Aarti was not a widow)and just plan ill habits.
Ishita needs to get over it, I mean how long did she know Yash like a day?? Get over it, you said it yourself Yash is not to first to walk away from marrying you, he just sadly he was the last and the only one that was sensitive enough to apologize thus getting all your crap.

Akash is right Suraj needs to understand where Akash is coming from but I blame Radha for this. She grew up with manners why couldn’t she still do this when he was a child. Im sorry please dont tell me just because you live in the slums doesnt mean you dont know any manners. The writers are making it worse. I have friends from the ghetto and they have better values than our own upper class. Another thing blaming your father for the rest of your life Akash is useless, you cant blame him for every little thing you do wrong. You are a grown ass man and know the difference between right and wrong. You already have a concept of this and its your decision making. Yes its important to have both parents but when one is missing that single parent play both roles. Its hard yes but she could have done more. Instead of blaming Akash should have proved society wrong by becoming successful. And I think Akash provoked them this evening by doing all of this. Hearing all these negatives gave him the idea to give them the show/drama they wanted to prove a point when in truth its hurting them.
First thing is:
I want to slap Arti and Yash silly for all the crap they are doing to themselves. They were so insensitive to Gayatri. Do you think Gayatri wants to have her mistress living in her marital home? Hell no. They should have given Radha the outhouse, guesthouse or build a house on the property or given her a chawl or apartment nearby. Buaji will forever taunt this woman along with others. I think Maya is talking to the next villain who will soon appear on this show.
Secondly Arti just gave away a piece of her marital home. If thats the first gift my husband gave me I would never ever give it away. Even Ishta was understanding due to the fact she wants a successful marriage like arti and yash. Then this idiot who doesn’t know the meaning of relations yes Im talking Arti. I still cant blame Gayatri for saying that about Arti she is the bahu of the house happiness and loyalty to her new family first. Justice has been served but people are still trying to deal with the repercussions and aftershock.
Pankaj as usual is an asshole they never lied, like father like son. I swear Vidhi and Pankaj are like the younger version of Shobha and Dubeji its so obvious. Pankaj is a punk because he cant deal with changes. He’s so use to everything occurring on a schedule a neat freak logics he has the mentality that money and blue-blood is superior. How can he be a lawyer, does he even receive clients due to his talents or because of his name and father’s reputation. It would have been better if he was an engineer because all he has is a scholar’s mind where is this man’s morals and emotions? How does he even help his clients if he cant act or defend his client with emotions.
Ishta upsets me. I understand her desperateness for love but she has to understand her husband first. Akash is like an animal out of his own environment embarrassed humiliated and suspicious. He cant trust anyone and its understandable after what Suraj and his brothers did. If Ishta wants love she has to work for it instead of seducing and trying to control her husband. She needs to be patient kind and understanding and build on her sincerity and so call love for him. Akash was harsh to her but she keeps on pushing thats what not what he needs now and so does she. They need time to figure out their marriage. Ishta you were desperate to marry anyone deal with it. Stop blaming yash more than once your father called for you but you stayed and the worse insult is when she told Akash to be more like yash. Yash is Ishta’s ideal husband and is perfect in her eyes. All Akash wants is acceptance to be him. Akash needs to apologies to Ishta he made his decision to marry her on the spot, so its his fault, stop blaming yash and suraj. Again bad decision-making skills he married for money.
